I have been watching Cleet since his UA-cam beginning, and I've seen him blow up lots of things. This is the most shaken I have ever seen him after a run.
When the blazer had the linkage fall out of the master cylinder and George had no brakes, is the only time I can recall him breaking the fun guy character. He was genuinely shook up. A little scared, a little mad at a safety oversight, obviously relieved everything was ok. He wasn't cleet for a minute there. He was a concerned friend, business owner, man responsible for everything going on. And he of course, handled it like a pro. Great dude, this Garrett Mitchell. edit to add. I really appreciate how much thought for safety is put into this channel. It's OK to wear a fire suit and a helmet. You can have fun and still maintain a level of caution and safety equipment. That was a flashback for me. Back in the 80's I drove a flatbed like that. The front u-joint blew and beat the crap out of the bottom of the truck, it was fricken LOUD!!! Luckily the drive shaft didn't grab the curb as I got it off the road and blow the rearend out. Good thing I didn't have a car on the deck, that would have been bad. Great videos brother!!!
I love how he bought the tow trucks for fun, but they both ended up being useful for moving vehicles and giving steve that tranmission after he helped so much was awesome.
In the early 80's, I built a tow truck out of a '61 Ford stepside, 390 w a cam and aluminum intake, Holley 750. It had the same giant truck 4speed. It went 13.8 , 101mph on 35" off-road tires. 3.73 F350 rear.

That was a flashback for me. Back in the 80's I drove a flatbed like that. The front u-joint blew and beat the crap out of the bottom of the truck, it was fricken LOUD!!! Luckily the drive shaft didn't grab the curb as I got it off the road and blow the rearend out. Good thing I didn't have a car on the deck, that would have been bad. Great videos brother!!!

In the early 80's, I built a tow truck out of a '61 Ford stepside, 390 w a cam and aluminum intake, Holley 750. It had the same giant truck 4speed. It went 13.8 , 101mph on 35" off-road tires. 3.73 F350 rear.
