2022 Polaris General Review: A $30,000 Mix Of Ranch Cart & RZR

Polaris recently introduced the hardcore RZR Pro R with the biggest engine ever powering a side-by-side, plus the all-electric Ranger that maxes out an EV ranch cart platform. In the middle of the Polaris lineup, the 2022 General XP4 1000 combines the best aspects of ranch cart and desert racer without sacrificing utility and driveability.
With 100 horsepower, Walker Evans shocks, and a trick 4WD system that includes a "Turf Mode" setting for opening the rear diff, the General caters to the do-it-all crowd. Plus, 2022 adds the Troy Lee Designs and Trailhead Edition variants. But pricing can easily creep up past $30,000 into serious RZR territory, so keeping an eye on options and performance requirements becomes key when shopping for your new Polaris General.

You need to take this "review" with a grain of salt. I have seen countless other videos, and all seem to be conclusive that this is an excellent machine. I've seen the thing rock crawl in Texas, rip sand in Arizona, Go through water, trails ride in Utah at altitude all with no issues. Is it perfect, is anything perfect? Stay within your capabilities and expectations and you will be fine. Not sure who this reviewer is, sounds like he is biased towards RZR, but he is definitely off of my list. Almost forgot, I don't own a SXS but I am looking to buy soon.
