Nice! personally, i bought a ranger for mudding. Read they are pretty damn good at it and pulled the plug lol.
LOL Weird I am getting a Lawyer's Ad about how suing RZR for products defects and fire hazards
So it’s like a ranger rzr hybrid?
Great video man. Thanks for the info.
Your video was so helpful thank you for sharing
Thanks - that did help! I'm going for a General!
Very nice video..thank you for posting.
You didn't say which you would buy....I have a RZR 900 and a 1000 general. I don't race and the general will easily keep up with my RZR and has so many more uses. I like the built in radio (also plays USB) and for me it's a no brainer. General all the way.
Just curious, is there any reason TFL never reviews any Textron/Arctic Cat products? Have you contacted them and they don't respond??
Textron has to actually make new machines for somebody to review, lol...
For that price I want blinkers and road legal!
You can buy the kit fairly cheap and register it and daily drive it here in Utah at least. We see side by sides almost daily on the streets and have a few neighbors that daily drive them. I’m not sure what the laws are in other states though it might be illegal where you are.
They will never make a sxs street legal they would never pass the crash tests
Jeremy brightenburg they’re street legal in Utah and Arizona. We see them daily on the roads here in Utah you just have to buy a street legal kit which is pretty much a horn and blinkers. They’re fairly cheap you can buy a street legal kit for 150-200 dollars and they’re plug and play so it’s like an hour install.
These are street legal in Idaho as well. So is riding a motorcycle without a helmet Lol
CFMOTO HAS BLINKERS OUT THE BOX
How's this stack up to the new Yamaha rmax 1000
RMAX is way better . Its a Yamaha. You don't take it back to the dealer in the 1st 2000kms for a 3grand repair bill. The clutch covers wont leak water in and destroy your C.V.T
Your diffs wont blow and your belt is warrantied for 10,000kms !
I have seen many grown men fight and cry over getting their 35k Rzr fixed.
Yamaha is ten times better made !!!
@@gwood701 Well said.....and 100% correct !
It should be noted that the general door has a seal to stop water from coming in while in deep water wich the rzr does not
good to know
This is the choice I'm up against. General "Hunting Edition" or XP pro 1000 base model. I have a farm but also want to go nuts up in the trails. Fun or Work. Hard decision.
I’m in the same boat. I want the performance of the rzr with the utility of the General
@@martinwiebe125 Just bought a used 2020 RzR 1000 turbo S (168bhp). gunna put a tow hitch on it. I'd rather have a sport that can do a bit of work, than a utility thats pathetic at sports.
The ranger trail boss edition needs the horse power of rzr and I’ll be sold.
Why would you show all the options of the higher end general and not talk about all the options on the rzr 1000 trail and rocks .
this review is soooo biased i have a rzr 1000 trubo rs and it has wayyyyy better shocks than both of these vehicles and i have a massive larance GPS in my center console its purely up to what you do with them and what you buy upgrades wise ,, they are both perfect but one is clearly a farm vehicle and that dosent make it better ,,i agree with you
Guns aren't only for hunting!
GOOD VIDEO I"LL TAKE THE GENERAL GOOD FOR WORK AND PLAY
Wouldn’t a Polaris ranger be better than both of those for hunting?
Well the RZR is not for hunting at all. And the Ranger is mostly for work and could easily haul a deer. But the General is a tweener hybrid where you get the best of both worlds. Plus the Ranger is very boxy looking.
Nice video!
Powerful machines!
My parents already have a General. So I'm gonna get the RZR probably sometime next year.
I found that a little unfair... this guy presents the Polaris General clean enough for me to eat my lunch off the bumper by the RZR so caked in mud I don't know what color it is. It might have been more fair to wash the RZR off before you trash it as inferior to the General.
When are you gonna get some can ams on there
You should be comparing four seater to four seater.
Did he every say which one he would buy and why?
No he didn't. Only reason I watched too!!
My family jus bought a 2021 general xp and it was 27gs that guy must be smoking something
"There's a huge difference between all the way soft and all the way hard"
That's what she said
There is a easy way to pick
RZR is made for fun expert offroading to do a lot of trails speed power and stunts you pick that
or
General is made for also 50% fun but its basically like he said a smaller truck type its made for work sure its not that fast but it is strong to carry a lot of stuff its for ya know work almoust as a smaller tractor for farming soo you pick that
7:11 thats a 4 point seatbelt i belive the 6 point doesn't exist.
Hello :) how many km before the engine die ?
14,500 km
How do you guys afford these expensive toys?
The general is a good machine
Meanwhile I'm perfectly happy driving a Coleman UTV 400 up and down the beach.
In general the General is quite a general General. Is all I heard
Why does everyone say razor? It says RZR.
Are Zee Are takes longer to say being three syllables. Razor uses the same letters but only takes two. Like yelling comere to your kids instead of come here.
Zabawka dla bogatych szlak mnie trafia że nigdy takiego nie będę miał 😎
Your choice was obvious. One is setting there looking like it just came off the trail, the other looks like it's a trailer queen headed to a car show.
I hear the transmissions suck on polaris.
Every model, every trim line, every year, with new changes even with the 2021 model? That's what you heard? The transmissions are now CVT and is very difficult to break. Same as Prius. I've heard the belts are a weak point on the Polaris.
the razor has more horse though.
I'll stick with an old Jeep, that I can also drive on the highway, legally.
these are nice, but hard to justify over a real truck haha damn. good thing I'm poor and cant afford either. i don't have to make these decisions.
This channel is for people who have NO idea about mechanics of any kind NOR do they know anything about sxs.
I rather have both
Listen if you want work and play go the general but for only play go rzr
Neither! Having a new general I know that' it's a poorly made piece of crap. Spends its time at the dealership being fixed mostly. Awful clutches awful service. No compensation. I'll never buy another polaris
If all of you wouldn't keep refinancing your houses to get crap you can't afford
$20.000+ thousand to drive in mud
Can’t wait to see a real sxs like an x3
Would like to get a John Deere HPX615E Work Series Utility Vehicle ....Starting at: $11,369.00 USD
I can't justify paying $30,000 for something that is been documented time and time again that you are constantly having to work on ?
Polaris really needs to get back to where they were , quality control sounds non existent.
Just retired , give me a call.
Do yourself a favor, get a Yamaha or Honda, unless you like taking it back to the dealer a lot !
Yeah polaris makes trash. They might be innovative but their parts are brittle like legos. Get the new Yamaha.
I need 200% fun
