Your beautiful Mom reminds me of mine. Mine passed away two years ago at 86. She was a Christian and she loved Jesus. For the past month God has placed this song upon my heart. I wake up hearing it and feel like He wants me to sing it. I haven’t had any voice lessons and the dogs may howl down the holler this evening but I’m going to follow what I feel He is leading me to do. Understandably. They obviously do not know our Lord and Saviour. It’s spiritual - what fellowship does light have with darkness. The light in us exposes the darkness in those who do not know Christ and those who may even have rejected Him and have made a choice to live apart from Him. So they do not like the light 💡.

My my what a beautiful voice and coming from somebody near my age that's a blessing I'll be90 years old next month May 2024 I never could sing like that I wish I could have but God had other plans for me I was a nurse for 60 years so that was my plan. Which I enjoyed took care of the elderly and now I'm elderly and now my daughter is my caregiver I'm still active though take care of myself mostly in my apartment she brings me food does the laundry shops text trash. I want to stay in my apartment.

A few years ago my wife was sat next to her Gran, (96 years old) in her final stages, 200 miles away from me. We sang along to this whilst on the phone to each other. Her Gran passed away peacefully as the song ended. Subsequently opened the letter Gran had written months before and One Day at a Time was a song she selected to be played at her funeral. I"ve commented before on this page but thank you again for this perfect performance, it gave my wife great comfort during the worst month of her life.

No one lives to great age without the love of others. These children are devoted, and their wondeful mother is thriving and giving out love with her whole demeanor. A true picture of motherly love in action. A blessing to be shared.
I hope this sweet old lady will live so many more years in health and happiness. I unfortunately lost my sweet mother in 2022 due to corona vaccination damage and they put her to death in a German hospital with morphine and water. I could not do anything against these bad evil people. I miss her everyday, and because it was an unnatural death I still cannot accept it.
Please take so good care of her. Parents are so very important in life and when they are taken away from you it hurts so much.

This is helping me so much... as my mother lays in the hospital on a ventilator. They don't know if she will make it.. but i'm trusting in Jesus. I have to take it one day at a time. I know i'm going to have this video on repeat for many days ahead to get me through. These voices really touch me.

I love hearing your grandma singing these gospel songs. I remember as a little girl. I'd go to church with my grandma. I loved hearing in church. My first song I remember besides This Little Light of Mine, He's Got The Whole World In His hands was The Old Rugged Cross I was 3 or 4 years old I'm now 72 and it's still my favorite song. 💜 Somethings just never need to change. This brought so many tears. How very precious. I pray for this woman and all those who are seniors and up in age. I lost my darling 98 year old mother this year and so many spiritual songs are a reminder of that. But this woman is so precious. Having a very elderly parent to love and care for has given me a much deeper love for the elderly. They can often be forgotten, when they have no family left. It has become my desire to visit and love them when corona dies down. We have much to give if we have good health and especially if we are seniors and don't have a full time job. God said to visit those in prisons. I have a lot to do for God at my 70 years. I'm so looking forward to it. Thank you for this beautiful woman and her song.
Prayers for you my dear friend. I lost my mother 3 years ago day after Christmas. She was 95 and loved to sing those Alan Jackson hymns. I agree with you, I want to help the elderly so much. They have more value than our society ever gives them credit for. I wish your family joy and peace this Christmas season. You and I were so blessed to have dear mothers who lived a long life! We will see them again one day Lord willing.
I’m so sorry you lost your Mom. My Mom will be 98 on Jan 15th. Excellent health and I love to talk to her about earlier years.

This so heartwarming and beautiful song I got to know at Cheyenne River Sioux, a Lakota reservation in the middle of the States, living with a family who loved this song, too. The disc player was kind of not functioning right, because once it was played, the disc started all over again! Unless somebody stopped it. And so it happened that I could listen more than a several hundred times to "One day at a time, sweet Jesus..."! Decades passed, I was back in Germany, my kids raised... all of a sudden, the song came on the radio! And back came the times in Eagle Butte!
Life is so fascinating...
If i am able to do all things in my whole life, it is certainly because of You, Lord Jesus who strengthens me.
