Cool! Wish folks would show us some night driving as well. Half of us drive at night half the time, and we love our interior lights.
This was our plan for future for every car test, but we need good night camera, but we will test with our gopro soon

That’s a North American spec passat.
It looks like a Euro passat, but its 25% bigger for oversized Americans.The only good thing about this watered down version is the EA 888 TSI engine and the aisin/ toyota built 6 speed automatic.
It’s also very reasonably priced, you can get a turbo s version for about 23,000 dollars
Us Americans really wish German companies would put more effort into our market. It's sad when Japanese manufacturers are blowing away what VW and Audi are providing over here.
I own one (shipped to Europe) and trust me, the Japan Aisin gearbox is not a good thing about this passat. :D But the space in the backseats is tremendous.

Yea I was told the Wolfsburg is the "real" Passat from Germany. Supposedly having a better engine and of course more pedal.

My 03 GLS Wagon does 125mph stock and keeps climbing past 227,900 miles. This is kind of sad.
My 2012 2.5 top speed was 110mph smh but it was very reliable and safe i might get me another one.
That was MPI. This is a turbine engine, it is very fast, but drinks a lot of oil

einer von uns ist Amerikaner, aber wir haben ja Kooperation mit Patriot Military Automobiles, dort kann man als nicht Amerikaner auch Autos kaufen, aber musst noch verzollen, Mwst dazu zahlen und etwas umrüsten für deutsche Zulassung :)

The 2.0 diesel and V6 came with DSG! I own a diesel with the DSG, absolutely love my car :D

It is 174 hp and top speed is 183 ? It is imposibile.
thats kph, in mph is 114
and its limited at 183 kph, so 114 mph limiter because US spec vehicle from goverment law. withouth limiter sure no problem around 220 kmh or 135 mph

@mohd hariri.. good question: it’s half the price of a euro passat, but the parts are not interchangeable.
If you need repairs...you’re out of luck

It's the currently american model. You also can see the license plate support is made for USA... I really don't think american Passat is ugly, but just different 🤷

because it's built on old passat b7 platform with ancient 6 speed gearbox. Americans love old technologies from stone age. They installed 3 speed gearbox on dodge caravan till 2002, and to compensate it's slowness, put extra 2 liters of engine volume.
