I found solution about MG DX loose waist Cut a thick runner,put it inside the body,a vacant part at the back Put all the weight at the front I never use the Satellite Cannon as tripod My MG DX stands great now Try it! You can find solution in your Gunpla if your a resourceful builder
Sorry about your eBay experience. I bought the HG kit back in 1996, and it was actually a pretty good kit. I mean it's not MG but it had a wow factor for it's time. I glued the wrong parts but over all the kit was very good.

After all these years, I still gotta wonder about the wings. To receive microwave power (or even to reflect it), all you need is a mesh tighter than the wavelength of the microwave beam itself. SO I'm pretty sure Kid could have gotten the GX's satellite cannon going again using some metal window screening. If we were talking radio waves, you could do it with chicken wire. Now, if you really want to make it look snazzy, go out to the hardware store and buy some retro-reflective safety strips.
@@strf90105 Beam weapons are okay, but a coat-hanger wire mesh is too complex to figure out. Cause, seriously, I love the design, but if all you're doing is receiving microwaves, a mesh is all you need.

CrazyPiPo I think I would almost prefer the MG X myself. I like a bit of asymmetry sometimes. But I like the beam rifle and shield of the DX much better.
Agreed. The shield on DX is a much, much better design compared to a hybrid beam rifle/shield on the X. You can also get some fun and cool poses with the satellite cannon on X too :)
love your channel and vids and reviews..having done mg for awhile. I feel personally like having to replace parts of the hands is a step back and feels like a 144 hg and not a mastergrade. what are your thoughts?
I prefer it! Actually, I with we had separate full hands to switch, rather than switching just the fingers. anyway, I don't like articulated fingers much cause there's just not really any point. fixed pose hands are more reliable and easier to clean up and paint.
The only issue I really have with mine is the fact it's back heavy if the Satellite Cannon isn't deployed. That's besides all the BS with the knees. The end of the arms at the wrists looks like something should be there and it irks me a lot.
The MG kit doesn't come with the additional morning star, beam spear, and weapon storage in the back? Dang, this is a downgrade compared to the HG from 96.
Great video review ya I'm not a big fan of this Gundam my self but its a pretty nice looking kit but not going to lie this is a total pass in my opinion I would rather buy MG dark matter or that new Gold dude coming out.
The waist joint is just horrible... I shook my head when I saw that. I got the robot damashii version of Double X, it has all the tight joints, holds together very well, the shape of the wings and the cannons look better, and overall it is much better than this mg kit. I don't think I will be getting this kit.
This is a top 5 kit surely... the double X is so dope. right up there with mg sinanju, RG destiny, mg freedom 2 and mg strike rouge + iwsp. MY tastes may differ from yours. notable mentions go to mg wing proto, mg epyon EW ver, mg hi nu ver Ka. (actually, there isn't a ver ka I DONT like). Basically, any RG kit is great too. Bandai has been on fire for the last 5-10 years.

That holding hand without slot is for holding shield but shield is totally inserted to the elbow peg
