Any chance of reposting this with a text overlay with any keyboard shortcuts that are used? Running the video at quarter speed but still struggling to follow it, or maybe have the History pane on show whilst recording so we can see what actions are being performed.
I downloaded the 30 day trial to evaluate it for my business but the XVL Studio 3D conversion will not open all the files. Out of 14 Solidworks files I tried it only worked on 4. The demos really look great but if I can't open all the files it's not much use. I called technical support but as yet they have not been much help. They just said the trial version was limited. That would be very limited, if you can't really do anything. The files that did open turned out great. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Ron, sad to read this. We should give this a new try. If you have sample files which do not behave properly please send them to the corel support with the note to route them for a test through to second level.
I'm a CorelDRAW veteran. I am an architect-designer. I can't understand what is the benefit of this product? Please tell me how you use it in your work.
Yes it can. However DESIGNER is enhanced with technical illustration features you then might not need. A Better fit is CorelDRAW along with "Corel for Fashion": cds-designsoftware.de/CorelforFashion/corelforfashion.php
Right mouse click on the toolbars - Select "transform". Here you can enter the X and Y coordinates and move elements that way. If you switch to parallel perspective, the all transform commands automatically switch to persective as well.
Can you please create this kind of illustrations that will teach the beginner how to bring out such design?

how do you measure lengths and distances in projected views??? this doesn´t seem to work for an exact technical illustration.
