      @@arlenechambers8481 it is not necessary untrue my kids are burn in Canada and they consider themselves Jamaican too,so her mom can be Jamaican too,Busta rhymes is American born and he considers himself Jamaican too.my cousin who is born in Jamaica left when was one year old and has only been to Jamaica one time when he was a child and spent 61 years of is life in Canada what would u consider him to be.

      Because of self esteem. When you have genuine self esteem (not narcissism) you are proud of your heritage regardless. If the pride you have in yourself is dependant on the GDP of your country of origin, you do not have any self esteem.
      That explains why you would have such an opinion. You can't get over the fact you suck as a person, with feelings of self-loathing
