  • How to switch two mono signals in to a stereo field. Both simple waves and band pass filtered noise.
    Using my DPW Design Zeoro 2 and Switch modules.

    I am still very interested in Zero2 plus Switch4. Did I understand you right that about 7KHz ist the upper switching speed limit?

      Yes, if you don't have anything connected to the D input. The circuit is very fast so I decided on 7kHz when it's running sort of in free mode. Otherwise it would let noise through, it is a way of suppressing noise in its function. BUT if you want the update frequency of detection to be higher you can do that by connecting an oscillator to the D input. That way the oscillator will determine the max switching frequency, it can be set to be way above 20kHz. You can in the same way connect an LFO or a gate signal to D and set the frequency to be as low as you want. The actual detection of a zero difference event is super fast, in the uS range and will be a very clean detection. The frequency we are talking about here is just the maximum amount of times per second it is allowed to do a new detection. I hope this makes sense :-)
