I must admit I stopped watching the game with 15mins left because I honestly couldn't handle the stress and thought we were going to lose. But the Boks taught me with this game, that you fight till the very end and never give up of your dreams. Thank you for the life lesson. Proudly South African!!!

Have always respected the AB's as the greatest rugby nation in history, and the Boks as the second best (and these two teams are clear of the rest by SOME margin!). Our rivalry is one that I cherish and to me - one of the greatest contests in all of sport.

as an all blacks fan, my hats off to the spring boks. They have shown that mental and physical fortitude and incredible toughness against their opponents. They were tested to the absolute limits by a much improved France team and were nearly finished against England but somehow they managed to get the result to be in the final once again. What a nerve-racking game. I suffered 70 minutes with the boks. We were game over. The face expressions on the bench were saying the same. England dominated the game. Then this unbelievable turnaround in the last 10 minutes. The boks have won and even one day later I still can’t believe it. 🎉 thanks Springboks 🙏 congratulations 🥳

The Boks resistance is amazing. I though both France and especially England outplayed them for large parts of those games but they managed to scrape through both times. What a gripping game! The 1st 70 mins was all England. What an outstanding performance by England! The best I have seen them play in ages. Much respect for containing the Boks for so long. As a Bok fan, compliments to the coaching staff for the substitutions at key times to deliver the epic last 10 mins to win the match. The WC has been a highly enjoyable spectacle. We gave away two penalties at the beginning to attempt to go for tries. Should have just taken the penalties and not lost momentum. But! We came back in amazing fashion. 🎉

Their expressions said it all at the end - they truly believed they were winners till the last moments.
My fellow Bok supporters, even though it's good for the rivalry to trash the opposition, and yes we all had a grudge against Farrell for the 2018 shoulder charge, let's leave the past where it belongs.
Today, England won 90% of the game - we can admit this.
And everything that England did on the field was hugely hugely competitive - something we as S Africans deeply admire.

@@Garethjames696 England deserved to win. Their physicality was off the charts and as a South African, I promise you we have massive respect for teams that stand up in that department. England did that! The Boks' bomb squad just lifted the intensity in the last 10 and stole it (sorry). The bronze final is a horrible game but England can still walk away with a medal, unlike France and Ireland who left with nothing. Good luck against the Argies

In all honesty I had given up on the Springboks when the score was 15 for England and 6 for South Africa. Seeing the performance of England and the time left I thought it was over but guess what, it is never over until it is over😂😂😂!!! France (what a mind buckle for us, imagine you were one of the players, physically and mentally that must have been like a final).
I just think we needed a week off. Hopefully this week's scrap was not too intense so that we can meet the Kiwis on equal terms next week (they've only really had two tough games thus far so they should be energised compared to us).

I love Ox- he is a hero for winning those scrums when we needed him, but I believe his impact is greatest when he can come off the bench and destroy a tiring opposing scrum. I don’t think he can go a full 80 minutes.
