His story is really sad because it is representative of a large segment of Muslims without a clear compass to engage the Quran.
Farid believes that he is defending Islam by defending people who have been dead for 1200 years! In the meantime, he neglects major ethical and moral instructions provided in the Quran (Qoran)!
In this episode, Dr Hany provides Farid with sincere guidance and highlights where Farid made some serious mistakes.

We do not claim Isa is the son of Allah, therefore the virgin birth holds no meaning for us.
We do not lose our belief in Allah's power nor the veracity of the Quran by accepting a male progenitor for Isa/Jesus.
However, many people could potentially lose many things if they accept this viewpoint, their resistance is naturally understandable.

Note that this is a very recent video on his channel (August 2021).
He refers to a third century scholar called Ibn Qutaybah who supposedly affirmed that the literal understanding of a Jewish interpreter call Wahab ibn Munabbih is supported by the Torah...
Farid adds: "In other words, Wahab ibn Munabbih, due to his understanding of Hebrew, took the understanding (of these verses) literally..." [More on Wahab ibn Munabbih] further below. Keep reading!]
Farid further confirms that none of the classical exegetes went into the meanings of the names, Issac and Jacob... AGain, showing us that he is not bound by what the classical exegetes said!!!
And this is the rub! What does Farid value more than the classical exegetes and all the scholars of the first century Arabia???
Pay attention to min 4:50, he refers to "The word play (in the Quran) isn't based on some sort of plagiarism, but it is due to knowledge of Hebrew....How did classical first century Muslims understand these verses?"...
Of course, Farid proceeds to tell you that THEY DID NOT, except those who were Jews before becoming Muslim... Farid insists, and affirms: They were the only ones who understood...
Not Sahabas... Not Tabi3een... Only those who were Jews and understood Hebrew...
He continues:
"We can conclude that the author of the Quran had access to information that classical exegetes did not have access to. "
Wow, Farid! What about the claim that you always make that we believe the Sahabas had the best knowledge about the Quran???
He continues: "The claim that Muhammad peace be upon him copied from the Bible conflicts with information that we would expect to find in classical works of Tafseer. The claim that this information was available to his society also is not in line with what we would expect to find in those works... The Quran engages with a scripture in a different language in a manner that was not even appreciated by the scholars of first century Arabia... Well with the exception of those with a Jewish background that wholeheartedly accept Islam and ended up converting."
"wholeheartedly"... What a testimony on their behalf, Farid!!!
Please note that the Jewish person he refers to by name in this segment, Wahab Ibn Munabbih, has been considered to be one of the major sources of "Issraa'iliyaat" (Jewish insertions into the Tafseer) by a large number of Muslims scholars, modern and ancient.
So there you have it... Farid's own words tell you exactly where his compass is pointed.

I was never pay attention to the tafseer of quraan before discovering this channel. I was thinking that the tafseer has been putting there already and we can't change it or think beyond. Every time I am in doubt with the tafseer, it comes those hadith says you will make shirk if you think other way or try to doubt about the tafseer. But this channel has opened my mind. I was blind. This channel has made me paying attention when I recite quraan. I don't know why we didn't see this kind of tafseer before. But everything is there. Allah has choosen you Dr Hanny to wake up our mind. Keep doing the good work they will come to understand you later. Don't get disappointed with those people. I believe that you will not be the last one. There are many more to come to improve what you have started biidhnillah.

I think many muslims put a lot of emphasis on traditions that are not confirmed sunnah our Prophet rather than putting their energy on trying understand the Quran which authetic and protected by Allah for the benefit of mankind. The problem is laziners and relying on scholars who are human like themselves. Make use of your interlectual capabilty which is one of the most favoured blessing from our creator and sustainer.

I was informed by someone about Farid's video earlier but waited to watch it. Alhamdulillah Dr Hany came up with this video and explained again what is the methodology used. It's like a refreshing course to all of us that have followed the channel from the beginning. Seriously, if u have not watched the series from the beginning u will not fully understand the methodology used and how Dr Hany came to conclusion in every videos. So, before criticizing, please allow urselves to watch all the videos from the beginning and understand them. Then, it's only fair to criticize the conclusions and not slandering the person himself.

At least I don't follow the tafseer that imported stories from israeliyat sources and imposed it to Quran, when Allah already told us not to do so. So, choose wisely what u want to believe.
Alhamdulillah... Dr. Hany you changed my view of the Holy Qursn. I am not scholar of Quran, but one thing is clear. You opened a whole new door to understanding the Quran. To be attacked means you are making an impact. Eveyy good person who brought real good change was attacked, called names, opposed and sometimes killed. Keep it up.
This explains clearly well why we have many disagreements among Muslims. We based our knowledge on the tafser and ahadith. So because some of the hadith are sahihi and others are not, followers of hadith have disagreements and yet they have one book the Quran. Even tafser has had an impact on Muslim ummah. Jews and Christians were accusing each other of being not authentic in their beliefs and yet they were using the same book. Muslims all over the world are accusing each other and they thye have one book. Different tafser and different interpretations have caused divisions among us Muslims. We are easily defeated everywhere in every way. It is very easy to divide Muslims
We need one central authority that will provide the same original intended guidance for all from the true translation of the Quran. Not this or that person or group or imam etc.
Is there a plan for the project to translate Quran using Abrahamic Locution? I pray for you Inshallah to even publish books on these subjects to enlighten us.

Dr. Hany said that using the Abrahamic Locution he deduced that Adam(as) is Prophet Muhammad (saw) and that Adam is a descriptive label in the Quran so it can refer to any Prophet according to the sura in question. This cannot explain how Prophet Muhammad (saw ) saw Prophet Adam (as) whom he was introduced to by the angel Gabriel as his "father" nor Prophet Aaron (Haroon) during the Mi'raj. An account given by the Prophet to his companions which Abu Bakr believed without question.
Basically he brainwashed you with his waffle!!

I'm surprised that Dr Hany chose to respond. I saw Farids video and I laughed at how poor it was. And reading the comments it was clear most of his followers are angry young men afraid of anything new or foreign to them. There's little that can be done to help them. Only Allah can guide them.

I remember how skeptical i was about this channel half-year ago, even disregard Dr Hany as just another old man with funny theories.
But then, his arguments backed by detailed evidences from al-Quran smacked that ego out of my head, crushing all those dogmatic fanatical belief in my heart.

Perhaps it's good to remember what the prophet said about the sect of islam (the muslims) would split to over 70 sects.

At another occasion the prophet answer that "not too long after he would be gone (died) most of the muslims would go astray" as the companion asked what the prophet was crying for, at the time he did in front of them.

Don’t fall into their trap. Please make Duaa for them. Those agitators don’t know what they are doing. We are well educated here and do not insult others. We love Allah and Quran is and will be our primary source. Farid and his followers should stay in their LANE. Rabanna guide us to the truth and don’t let the Ummah get divided.

After I understood about weltanshauung, iblis and shaitan, I am now more aware about their tactic. This channel had given clear definition about a lot of things that were not taught in school. For example, Rasul and Nabiy. It so much simpler and accurate.

To me Allah speaks thru you just like He spoke to other Messengers. Becoz, the interpretations of Quran I have read and still reading by some scholars , almost all have a lot of contradictions. Allah says Quran doesn't have any contradictions.
The story of Jesus as eg. Deep inside me I suspected that Jesus must have a human father. Why?
Becoz God created human beings from a lowly liquid of two parents. Simply we cannot exist without sex between man and woman. This is common sense. God wants us to use common. So, when Dr Hany explanined that Zachariah, is Jesus father, it confirmed my belief. And God is the One who did the miracles that Jesus performed. Simple logic.
There are so many contradictions in the interpretation of Quran. They don't make sense.
Basically God wants us to work righteousness. And lower our wings of humility. Never to have any idols besides Him.
Dr. Hany. To me you are God's sent. I support you. Don't worry. God made you an interesting messenser and I love gaining wisdom and knowledge from God thru you. Actually all power belongs to God. Now I will ask you a direct question with reference to the Quran, let’s see if you can extract this from the Quran. In Surah Al-Baqara ayah 197 the Quran when talking about the Hajj says to us that it is the known months. الحجّ اشهـر مّعلومٰت. When are these months? Get that from the Quran.

I watch and read Dr Hany interpretations with open mind. No one is perfect like our prophet, Muhammad. When the prophet spread the messages, most people at that time had rejected him harshly. In one sahih Muslim Hadith, “Islam began as a something strange and it will return to being strange, so blessed are the strangers.” I hope Muslim leaders and academicians would invite and engage with Dr Hany professionally. Their method of rebuttals pale so significantly in comparison to "MQ" and everytime they criticise "MQ", they show themselves up to be so unenlightened and uneducated. One of the reasons This channel is very important and interesting is that we are learning the truth about understanding Quran. They interpreted in the past wrongly a word in Quran saying that Husband can BEAT his wife. When Dr. Hany give us a new interpretation/understanding of the same word ( which doesn’t mean to beat one wife)
Dr. Hany using Abrahinmi Locution gave us a correct interpretation and Dr. Hany said “ the word does not mean to beat woman/ wife) and some people got upset and started labeling Dr. Hany.. A_T.1 hour ....I remember about 20 years back (before Google and you tube) when the beating verse was interpreted as "separation" the interpretars we're labelled feminists.

Alhamdullillah I found Dr. Hany’ channel. Farid’s User’s insulted us that we do not understand Arabic that is the reason we are here. At least I am Muslim and can wake up to pray Fajr. Some people don’t want to see what’s logical ie the Quraan. Hadiths have blinded most of us from the truth. I’m certainly not a scholar nor do I master Arabic but over 5 years ago I decided to read the Quran in English and Surat Al Maida aya 6 was an eye opener. Something so simple as how to wash before praying has been distorted. Since then I haven’t stopped searching for the truth.

Salaymu alaikum. I have watched both videos in their entirety. Where do I begin? When I first watched Dr Hany my heart and my mind got twisted and for the whole day or at least two my heart was so unsettled. I did not watch his channel for the next 2 weeks. I was a seeker and the seeker in me brought me back to the channel and now for GOOD! In a nutshell and in truth, we are all seekers and travelling back to Allah swt and inshallah we will eventually return back to Allah swt whether we are ready or not, inshallah we are preparing ourselves all the time. In my journey so far, in my humble opinion, there are 2 things that will never be taken away from you, knowledge and experience. Dr Hany has both and if i may venture there is ring of truth to what he is saying and presenting. It sounds crazy but that is how the world will change with one crazy song that matters. The other party, (I will not mention name) just like the rest of us, when we were younger and full of rage, seems to have many songs to sing and if I may add, none of his songs really matter at the end of the day. In American slang if I may add, my guns are with you Dr Hany, your song rocks and more importantly your song matter. As for the other party, ( & i will not mention his name here), in my native Australian, F#!k OFF mate!

If you just follow the name Ishmael(AS) in all the ayats in the Quran and compare in relation with Ibrahim, Isaac and Yaqub (AS) and reflect upon it you'll begin to have your own understanding instead of listening to piecemeal stories.
You can easily get all the ayats from website like corpus Quran. And also do compare at least two of your favorite translators commentaries, three is better though.

He is changing expression you used e.g you said "attack dogs", he is saying in his channel that you are saying that his subscribers are dogs, this is really low from him. Correct me if i'm wrong, "Attack Dogs" is an expression used for a person or persons noted for their harsh, personal, and usually public verbal attacks. It does not mean they are dogs. It denotes the quality of language they used. There are many expressions like these.

I cannot trust someone that claim Zurkarnayn is our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and claimed Abu Lahab is firaun. I don't care if you analysis is ten hours long Prohphet Ismail (AS) is not Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Farid is not good person. He was leaking yasir Qadhi's personal email. He always talk about someone's else opinion and beliefs. I have seen he talks about a lot of people behind their back. This is very slyly, hope he will understand that this not the way islam came in.
We read the Quran but we don't study it like Dr Hany. I don't know but I am learning all the time.
The Quran is intact like ALLAH promise to preserve it and its our interpretation that is question.

When I saw the young n energetic man making such a hollow presentation my heart beat and I felt very sorry for him.. all that he was doing was cut and paste where it suits him … No one is perfect but remember it takes a single step to change a direction.. please my fellow ummah let learn how to listen attentively. For 14 centuries every single Muslim scholar got it wrong. Even those who walked with the prophet got it wrong. And here comes some guy on youtube to correct all of them. Subhanallah. Very calm and collected, a true grown up! Not like the boy Farid. Almost everyone who starts listening to you Dr Hany are sceptical as they are coming across new interpretations which they never heard before and wondering if the mufassiroons and scholars got it wrong. Its hard to accept and people like me faced an existential crisis. However with all the evidences provided by Dr Hany its hard to turn away and dismiss what he is saying. Farid is not being fair and is being deceitful. Its a real shame.
Allah would not misguide all those scholars. The quran was given in quarayish dialect. We always had the correct interpretation.

@@Alisalah_24 i watched the segment twice carefully taking notes trying to rebut it but struggled. However I am not yet fully convinced and will write to Dr Hany about my reservations although I cannot find any of my own evidence other than the hadiths and the story from the Torah.

So I went to watch Farid's Exposing video, and it was very unfair of him. The video took a lot of "out of context" clip from this channel and hid the quranic text and explanation that was supposed to be there. From my point of view he already knows that this channel is providing facts, and couldn't refute back. At 32:00 on his video he said "people like him are counting on your laziness, in order to get away with the lies, when they reference something, you better look it up." That is exactly what he did with his viewers, by counting on their laziness not to see the evidence and go along what he says.
You have summed up perfectly the tactics, attitude and behaviour of Farid Responds and others doing YT Dawah. It doesn't matter who the muslim or non muslim they talk about, it is nothing but misrepresentation and lies. Their dawah is about deception and they do not realise that they are causing muslims to leave Islam when they realise they have been lied to.
Dr Hany, please forgave this guy for he deviated away from the Muslim akida. Allah yahdih. He does not deserve your precious time explanations. Please continue with your videos for they open our minds with new knowledge. I personally want to thank you for all what you do. God Bless.
