You are, undoubtedly seriously pissed off. This entire video was a rant about your dissatisfaction with the K1/K1C, etc… The points you’ve raised are valid however I’m still curious why you bought all those printers? Your statement “because I’m an idiot” doesn’t cut it as it’s hard for me to get why you would continue buying them when you are unhappy with the product itself? I bought the K1SE and I must be lucky in the fact that so far, so good, no serious issues, great prints, some adjustments, etc… The bed? I’ve seen all manner of suggestions/tweaks/fixes and they all were somehow valid however the one thing I didn’t see, and what I intend to do is buy a better bed plate. Creality needs to deliver a plate that is flat and yeah the mounting system needs to be right. As an engineer I get why you are pissed. I’ve consistently over the years been handed BOM’s for equipment that were incomplete, poorly written and poorly thought out. I get it. However, this is like the Xth (pick a number) video where I’ve seen you, angry, yet you still have all these printers? I think, you are a knowledgeable guy and could make some great stuff. Quit using Creality, change direction, seek your zen place. I chose the product I bought because the price point was right, the community of modders, etc… I’m stoked with my purchase. I didn’t buy the 1, or the C, because I knew they were Alpha/Beta products and frankly was waiting for some of the larger bugs to be resolved. What’s cool is for me, they appear to be. We’ll see moving forward. This is just my two cents but if you want to build your membership, views, etc…. Try going a different direction. If not? Who knows, maybe your just that “angry dude” but it does a disservice to yourself and your membership. Life is short, don’t spend it all being angry.
I'm actually not pissed at all; I think it's just the way I come off when I'm passionate about a topic. To be honest, I enjoy working on machines no matter their state. I'll break down a few things that you brought up. I purchased these machines while out of town; it was actually part of a much larger order, but the six machines came in while I was away. I returned two weeks after they had arrived. The larger part of the order was still to be shipped at a later date. Once I returned, I immediately began working with the machines, and it became evident that they all had problems. These printers were intended for use in a print farm, with the initial investment being made based on both user reviews and the marketing from Creality. After dealing with several major issues, the decision was made to stop the purchase of the remaining machines, which was a larger number than the six initially delivered. The problem is a matter of perspective. While these machines are fine for a lot of things, they do not fit the requirements needed for their use case-not out of the box, at least. I became aware very quickly that these machines would cost around an extra $200 each minimum to come close to the requirements that are needed. While most people print a lot of cool random things, I print exclusively products that are designed to be printed face down. The Creality printers out of the box are horrible at achieving good repeatable quality for facing layers. To get this quality, the printers require a lot of time and attention and aftermarket upgrades. I'm not angry, and I don't hate Creality. I am, however, very assertive with my observations. I understand that this may come off as angry, but I can assure you that I am not. I have had my points of aggravation; that is true. But I accept that all endeavors of life bring their own levels of aggravation. The point of this video was to be honest about the current state of Creality. I don't believe that a company changes overnight, and I do believe their current behaviors and products are the most telling indicators of their future products and behavior. I do believe it is true that Creality uses deceptive marketing practices while shipping half-finished and poorly implemented products. If I bought one machine, I would shrug this off as happenstance and move on. But in my position, it becomes very telling as to what kind of company they are. With even such a small sample size, it is incredibly evident that Creality has some very serious quality control issues as well as design. It's not my goal to just hate on Creality. If they corrected course and released the best printer tomorrow, I would tell people that I believe it is the best printer. But I also think it is very important that consumers be a little combative towards these companies when they are not being completely honest about the products they sell. It is a very fine line to walk between being honest and being a jerk sometimes; this is just a very unfortunate truth. If the majority of the 3D printing customers and community that purchased this printer from Creality held them more accountable, as I have attempted to do, there would be an immediate change in behavior. The sad fact is these problems are not issues for Creality because the consumers and the community have not held them accountable for these issues. Companies need to be held accountable, or they will continue to ship products that don't meet expectations, and en masse, the 3D printing community has not held Creality accountable. Again, it's not my intention to come off as angry because I am not. I am passionate and care about the community and the way consumers are treated. Thank you for your comment and questions. I really do appreciate open communication when it comes to any concerns or observations. I will pin this to the top of the comments, as I believe this response may not only address your concerns but also the concerns of others. Thanks again.
@@zerodotcmd Thank you. First of all for responding in such depth. Just goes to show you how, even more so on the net I believe, we can misconstrue anothers position. Re your overall position, this explanation gave me a clear view of the “why”. I can frankly see from your response what contributed to your reactions and subsequent video(s). That said, I’ll say this. There was a period of a great many years, when American made was a point of pride. I grew up in a tradesman family. The term back in the day was “chinese junk” or some other such thing. By the time I reached the age to go out into the world and do my thing, well? Our period was over. Our Corporation sold out and moved everything overseas because? Well, profits, Wall Street. They gave ZERO shit about what that would do to our communities, our young men who would no longer have the opportunities available the men had before them, etc…. As such? I chose IT as hey, I knew I could build a good career in it. Fast forward, as we seem to be on the brink of a significant war (whether this is Media opinion, etc… we don’t need to go down that rabbit hole) and it hit me the other day. Something working in IT did for me is I spent years, working with Chinese people, Indian people, Japanese People, etc…etc…etc… That was a gift because I learned “Damn, they are just like us”. Creality, Bambu, DJI, can we really these days state “Chinese Junk” anymore? The reality is, if the borders close tomorrow, we would be screwed. I digress, why I derailed on that is because I’m concerened not only for America and the rest of the world but also for China and the Engineers that poor there lifes blood and hearts into what I see as seriously well thought out / well implemented products. Perfec? Oh hell no but was any American product ever perfect? What I like to see at the end of the day is the Manufacturer and their community working together, iteratively, to improve, to strive towards products that serve well. My first printer was an Anet A8 plus (my god that was fun but? I learned TONS), next a Sovol SV05 (damn that was and still is a step up and I’ve printed so many things with it) and lastly, a few weeks ago the Creality K1 SE. All have been interesting but the last one well damn, it’s magic compared to the first two. I’ve already found things I dislike, added the camera, and I intend to put a better bed on it instead of all the different fixes people propose. Lastly I’ll say this. I saw it with Bambu, and I’ve seen it with Microsoft, IBM, etc…etc…etc… If you buy the first release of anyones product, if you ride the cutting edge, you are going to bleed. No biggie if your gonzo about being a beta tester but a downright pain in the ass if your intentions were to get a working product. I learned THIS from a mentor in the 90’s and it still rings true today. The K1 I bought is literally version 3. Has everything been fixed? Oh hell I bet not but? It’s SIGNIFICANTLY upgraded/fixed from that first release of the K1 and? It cost me 350 bucks vs the 1200 I’m going to spend build a Voron and yeah, I’m going to spend it because I want to build it, lol. Anyway, thanks again for the comprehensive response. As a result I’m subscribing again. Much appreciated.
@TheJacklwilliams I also grew up in a trade family and have done my fair share. Years ago, I decided that it wasn't really the life I wanted to live. I've always heard the belief about American-made vs. everywhere else. I've never believed the idea that one country is better at making things than any other. There are people in other countries, including China, who are incredibly passionate and extremely talented, and they deserve respect when they create good products. I'm the kind of guy who would sit down and have a dinner conversation with the devil; it’s just who I am. That being said, I would love to talk with so many companies and designers when I see things like I see with Creality. I really believe that if they cared to listen and made a few changes, Creality could be not only better but an awesome option compared to even the best printers.
@@zerodotcmd This has been a pleasure. As is evident when people really communicate our pre-disposed opinions can often be proven wrong if you take the time to dig deeper with someone. Agreed on all fronts. Case in point, the K1 series, my SE. I’m getting ready to go pick up some panels to enclose it. I’m leaning towards sheet metal but frankly if I find something better at my local Lowes I’ll grab it. Then I’m buying the front door from Creality. That said, this part is fun and I’m looking forward to tinkering with it. My number one gripe and I would’ve spent 50 bucks more for is a thicker, flatter bed. That’s my main gripe. However I’ll add, that with Klipper as the base, even with a bed mesh from hell, I’m getting great prints. All I can think though is how much better those prints will be with a Voron/Rat-Rig/PickABrand style thick well milled plate. Anyway, I agree with you and have to say in maker world I see evidence all the time of the major mfg’s in this area listening well to their user base. Especially considering often this base is made up of Engineers from all disciplines which have great input to contribute. Thats the main reason I chose Creality for my third printer. They get flak from everyone and often deservedly for all the different iterations of the Ender line but with the latest and all the models in between they show great progression in upgrades to the line. Also, more importantly and it’s kind of funny to think about, the HUGE user base around these products and incredible mod’s these people have and continue to contribute. Good stuff indeed. That said, all your input around the things that angered you most with the line are valid. It’ll be interesting moving forward to see if they take any of the information you’ve presented and run with it. If you were, Makers Muse (Angus I believe), CNC Kitchen (Stefan), Teaching Tech (Michael) or lastly one of my most favorites and I don’t know her/brother names Aurora Tech (man these kids are good) I’d say you’d get top attention from all the manufacturers as we all know hits/likes/positioning in the market makes all the difference in that area. However, I’d say as you continue in the trajectory you may very well reach that level of audience. If you have (haven’t looked at any of your stats) then forgive me and I’ll congratulate you. I don’t do Social and frankly the only reason I do UA-cam is the level of talent and skill in pretty much every major tech out there is available and widely shared here. I live for that. It’s what I enjoy the most. Kind of like a free University where all the professors invite everyone to their shops to sit down and build things. That’s absolutely priceless. Once again, thank you for graciously engaging with me on this topic. Like most / all of us in this and related fields I’m most sure your time is money and there is only so much available every day. I’m looking forward to your future content. Big time.
@@jnssmnsn I stay around 300 with pla. Quality is very good. No printers hit their advertised high speeds, with good quality. And I do have x1c at work for comparison.
Got 3 x K1 Max , no problems here and they are up there in preformance with my X1C (had a fair share of quailty issues with the X1C too) , Just ordered 2 x K2 combo since there is no real other option at this point for a 350mm combo unit.
@@anderslagerqvist2642 I haven't purchased a K2 and have no plans to do so. I've based my current opinions and lack of trust on their current behavior and products.
I started with an ender 3v2 and then a couple more creality printers and I think they may believe they can just make it "good enough" and they will stay on top. Now I do not want to see them go out of business. I want to see them put out a great product so that we all win.
By far the most honest and realist 3D print UA-camr. This why I subscribe. Happily sold my k1 max last week and never looking back. Qidi plus 4 has been everything I had expected from the k1 max
Great video. I love honest and ruthless reviews and feedback. Subbed! I've had my P1S combo for a while now and other than out of alignment/ rubbing raw belts, that I solved despite Bambi's inept customer support. The machine has since been great. My 50% off K2 Plus should arrive before too long and if it wasn't for the steep discount I would not be looking anywhere other than Sovol or Qidi as I value customer support and open sauce. Here's to hoping the K2 plus is worth at least 50% off 😅 Thanks again for the honest review of Creality 🖖🏻
I had all of these issues out of the box with a 2024 k1 max and they never went away. It has made it extremely hard to troubleshoot all the other issues with the machine because the basic functionality was not there in the first place. I say these things every day to people who post on facebook who are excited to throw their money away on the k2 and multi filament systems and always get met with a ton of backlash. The community always blames me for the issues I had out of the box and dismisses anything I say. 6 months later I'm still searching for solutions, that's how I found your channel!
That's one of the major problems with the 3D printing community. People have this idea that if it works for them then it must be someone else's fault when their printers not working. I hate this attitude. People have bias because they bought something expensive and its hard for them to honestly say that the printer may just be the problem.
@@zerodotcmd That's why I'm extremely grateful for people like you who are actually helping to come up with solutions to problems creality created but never solved. Thanks to this video I just found a possible solution to my z axis not smooth error which is the first error I ever got. I think I will drill through the frame and route the cables externally with a tpu grommet because there doesn't seem to be much room without removing the z assembly.
If you put klipper that invaded your warranty, creality does not provide support and parts replacement. The threads of screens on the extruded motor , that secure to extruded, tend to strip and cause very bad under extrusion and clogs.
I have a k1 max and I have to agree with you. The warping of the bed should hav been addressed and either recalled or shipped free of charge. Having to buy a manual bed leveling kit with spacers and wheel nuts shouldn’t be an add on you should HAVE to buy. Maybe if they were included and you had the ability to level the bed independently but it still doesn’t help the warping defect.
I was thinking about grabbing a K 2 but I think I will wait to see what happens, and now Qidi is coming out with the Qidi box we will see what happens, because everyone wants a bigger multi color printer we already have the mid size P1S
Both multi color and larger format printers are at the top of the wish list for everyone right now. Personally I just want a printer that works flawlessly out of the box with a single filament first. I'm interested to see what Qidi ends up with.
I also thought that when I bought the K1C. I will print in stock, but I'm tired of fixing these problems. I was really surprised when I couldn't use a third party slicer. So I had to root it. It's been a week now and I'm still fixing it! The only thing that made me buy it was the price. I almost ordered bambulab but I won't make that mistake again!
I should not have had to spend an additional $300 on parts for my k1 to make it print well (that being said, now that I have, it does print very well). You're spot on with the poor QC from creality. Hell, I bet they're still selling Ender 3 Pro and V2 without ferrules on the main power, hotend or bed heater wires. It's a race to the bottom, and people need to call them out on this stuff.
I recently discovered that the AI camera detection and pausing needs to be enabled in the settings, creality leaving it off by default and not telling you to turn it on is useless. Now that I've turned it on, I get a LOT of false errors and pauses that I come back to hours later expecting my print to be done. Very frustrating.
Watching this video helped reinforce my belief that i don't need to buy amy more Creality printers. I did my time witht rhe Ender 3 and paid my dues lol. Ive barely ever had to mess eith my X1C. Most of the time, it just prints without having to fiddle, hack, or mod anything.
Wow, you talked non stop and it says a lot about all the issue you encounter, well thanks for the advice, i will look for a bambu instead, for now at least, thanks again👍
There are plenty of decent printers out there. Just be careful to not only research but search out unbiased owners of these printers for their opinions.
Great synopsis on creality. Was going to purchase K2 but will hold off until more people use it and post their crying on UA-cam - the poster here looks so much like Collin Feral.
got 2 x K1 Max, no probem what so ever, so glad i bought them, I have even ordered the K2, hope they sorted out the problens you have, but why buy so many ?
When it first came out I was so excited. Yet so much disappointment. So I opted in for m5pro flashforge. Im a dt teacher and trust me flashforge has minimal or even any issues. Just saw Bambu smashing it with price drops. Good luck to K2
Awesome pick! the 5M Pro by FlashForge is an excellent printer for the price. I have a video coming out on this soon, a few quirks but for the price its hard to find better.
Bought k1 for about €320 recently, thinking to use it occasionally for special materials. To pay almost five times for material wasting gimick K2 would be crazy.
Well said, i appreciate creality because they cut corners and make a cheaper product for me, but they are trying to take on the premium market which i think is a bad move for them.
Driving cost down for consumers is always great. The only bad part is when Creality is dishonest about it. If they said "we did this because its cheaper" I would have more respect for them.
Damn this is so sad I had been research Creality for some time and many things you said are true base on my finding I only learn today that was bad well I have to say no to Creality until their have proving themselves so sad! New SUB with a Thumbs up Thanks for the infor!
Yeah the state of things really is unfortunate. I wish consumers could trust what these manufactures are saying. There are some decent options out there still though!
I was finalizing between the k1 max and p1s, where i live the p1s is 150 dollars cheaper than the k1 max, i wanted the larger build volume, but after seeing content on your channel and others decided to go for the p1s. What an amazing experience it has been, from initial setup to first print, i have been into printing for close to 8 years now, but this experience with the p1s was something else. Good thing i didnt wait for the k2 or the ams setup from creality, coz i feel like that will have issues too. Also i think the embargo is there because they are using the content creators aa beta testers to iron out stuff, which i feel is a sad way to get a product ready for a launch.
Awesome glad to here you're having a great time with your P1S. Smaller build surface but definitely a better printer! I also agree that they are treating content creators like beta testers.
Bambu's next flagship to launch Q1 2025 is going to change the 3D printing scene a lot. I feel they are purposely holding back till Q1 2025 to make sure it is better than the Qidi Plus 4 and the K2
My sentiments, exactly. It's ridiculous what got released as the K1 series, and i feel I was scammed and lied to. Perfect first layer... For that, they would need to install a probe an order of magnitude more precise. How can you measure a 1-2 microns with a probe that has an accuracy of 20 microns and has a built-in random generator. Ironically, the problem is in the MCU firmware. I still don't understand why they don't release an update that would fix it - the community has debuggged the issue and written a fix.
It's very hard to not feel like you got scammed when dealing with Creality. It wouldn't take much effort to correct the way Creality is currently operating, but it doesn't feel like they are really interested in fixing problems with either the company or their printers.
@@zerodotcmd I agree. A systemic change would be needed. That is difficult, even when there is the will to do it. My previous printer was thier CR10 Mini. For the price - it was great. I modded it and got more value out of it. But when I bought the K1 Max... It was advertised as a product, not a project. I imagine you tried talking to them about your khem... delivery and they didn't care to make it right? I was also talking to their support. They did try to help. Even sent a few replacement parts. But what I keep wondering is if they understood that the parts won't solve the issues I was describing and they just tried to "shut me up". I learned a lot though. More than I bargained for.
I have a Creality S1 pro, and I am delighted, and I am pre-purchasing a K2 plus. And I think you may be right in what you say, although I hope not. and I say that you may be right, since it is a copy of a bambulab but with the size that many of the community were looking for, and I think they did K2 in a hurry and running. I have seen the unboxing on UA-cam, but I think he made a mistake by posting it, since it is not there today. and the truth is that I had an aimoresion with a benchi and it didn't give me the feeling of quality. I'm afraid to think what sanction Creality will have imposed on him, and out of shame I don't know the channel either since it was a search for the city in case there was something, and this point is what you also mention, what you hide or what there is that you don't want to be known. I also think that all buyers like me have suffered a delay in deliveries, saying that it is a logistical problem. This is a point where I think so much demand was not expected and of course, Creality will have to be highly professional because otherwise everyone will be talking about problems, and future purchases will stop. Time will tell what will happen with all this. greetings.
Exactly. I don't want people to get me wrong, I'm not wanting Creality to fail and make bad printers. I want companies to ship great products that people enjoy with good quality control and honest communication. Sadly the state of Creality doesn't feel open or honest, and we can already see that there are issues with not only build quality but quality control. I really do hope that the K2 has a better release than the K1 series. But so far its not looking good. I hope I'm wrong.
I have been working on 3d printers for over 10 years now and have 3 different types from an A1 printer to a flash forge and a commercial 3d printer that I have in parts to rebuild from long ago. I was debating getting a k2, but of course I'm skeptical about a "pre order" I think I would rather invest in a bambu or a PRUSA MK4 S due to quality
@@idkzero I actually think the same, but I gave a vote of confidence to Creality, which has happened so that it now thinks that the K2 is going to have problems. On Thursday the 13th, an unboxing was published on a UA-cam channel. (which was deleted the next day). and when I finished unpacking, UA-cam made a benchi, and the quality was not as good as I expected. And I think Bambulab has something for the end of the year or next year that they also keep secret for now. Let's see what this advance purchase is going to bring us and let's hope that for the price it is, it won't be a headache. greetings.
creality has always moved kinda shady. prime example is the two websites thing (one of which "isnt run by them"). thanks for articulating what was wrong what the K series, i always wondered why they were offloading customer returns on ebay
The K1 series has a lot of flaws which means I don't recommend them. They are also making some creators delay their K2 video releases until after customers get their printers? Very bizarre. Not betting on a trouble free launch here.
@zerodotcmd its common practice for hardware manufacturers to have an embargo on reviews until the public release is live. The public release is still at least a month away as they're still fulfilling pre-orders.
@@FhangMedia There are a lot of things in this world that are common practice, that doesn't mean its right. Customers should expect more of the companies they give money to. I don't care if its common. Creality pushed pre orders all while locking access to peer review.
YIKES !!! Didn't see this coming 98% of channels reviewing 3D printers come no where near the intensity and passion this channel just released. I own a Creality Ender 3 Neo for a couple of years now and am tire of the tramming with the piece of paper. So I'm ready for another 3D printer with more bell and whistles and less tinkering with the printer. I must say though this is only a hobby for me and I have learned a lot from the UA-cam community. So I'm thinking there are folks that love tinkering and others just want to print, let us not forget the designers also. Btw thank you ZeroDotCMD for such a refreshing contribution as for me I'm gonna grab me a cup of coffee and continue to surf the net for my next 3D printer. 👍👍👍
Hmm I bought an as is ender 3 v2 neo for parts with a note about bed probing issues. I paid $49 with free shipping. The issues were the original buyer didn't know how to tighten anything. I bought $6 worth of aluminum spacers to solid mount it and a $32 creality direct drive attachment and an $8 bimetal heatbreak. OH and a decent flex plate for $18. 6 months of no issues and banging away.
@@gitss7367 You got a decent deal, I may have to look at also trying to solidify my tramming methods to insure vibrations do not throw me into the rabbit hole. But I do appreciate the words of reviving the Ender 3 Neo after all this is my only filament printer and the first. It has taught me a lot about this hobby and the maintenance and replacing parts worn out. Happy Holidays and Happy Printing.
Great info and straight to the point with facts. Creality sounds like a complete mess and like you said will most likely nose dive trying to catch up to Bambu. You probably just saved me money, time and headaches. I don't own a Creality printer and don't plan on it.
Creality has as far as I noticed never cooled their electronics properly. My ender3 s1 would do weird things during long prints. By accident one day I figured it out when I left the drawer out in the front and it worked fine. So I got looking at it and there was only inlets for the fans and no outlet in that compartment. I cut a hole in the bottom cover and it was good after that. You would think it would be a pretty simple thing to understand that cool air goes in and warm air goes out.
You sound like me, with Qidi. I have $3000 worth of QIDI 3D printers. I fell for the low price and good specs... on paper. In practice, the enclosure on the original dual extruder QIDI Tech made it difficult to service the printers, and they constantly needed servicing. I spent way too much time working on the printers and too little time printing. Worse, their parts were all proprietary so I was forced to buy repair parts from QIDI, to the point that QIDI soldered header pins on the back side of open source stepper driver boards to reverse the pinout so I couldn't buy the same part on Amazon that every other 3D printer used. Even worse, a year later, QIDI introduced a new 3D printer and stopped selling repair parts, making my unreliable 3D printers nothing but expensive landfill scrap. That's why I don't buy QIDI products. I bought a Sovol SV01 for $238 and it's been a workhorse for my online business for over two years. I replaced a hot end heater after a month, using an inexpensive and readily available heater for an Ender, etc. that I bought on Amazon. The open architecture made the repair quick and easy. Other than that, I've cleared three nozzle clogs and I can't really blame that on the SV01. I've printed WAY more on a single SV01 than I did on five QIDI Tech 3D printers. I upgraded to an Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro and it's been reliably printing excellent parts almost non-stop - in PLA, PETG, TPU and a lot of ABS with a 30 gallon clear trash bag draped over top as a heated enclosure. I hope QIDI has improved and is now reliable but I don't see myself ever buying a QIDI 3D printer when I've had such bad luck with them and such good experienced with Sovol and Elegoo. I was planning on buying an SV08 this winter when I'm designing new products. I learned not to buy a printer before I need it because they're always better and less expensive later. Now I'm thinking of getting a K2 Plus instead. I've seen very impressive early reviews. I had the impression that the K1 wasn't ready for prime time, and the K1C was better but still had design issues. It looks like the K2 Plus might be where it needs to be, but I won't be one of the first to buy one. I'll wait for more independent reviews and particularly some long term reviews.
Unfortunately this sounds about right. I wish these companies could be more level with their customers. At this point its better to tell first time 3D printer buyers that they can just expect problems. Even my favorite printer, while I haven't had issues, I know others have. I will admit the SV08 does look fun.
@@zerodotcmd - The K2 Plus is getting some good early reviews. The 350 mm X 350 mm first layer looked perfect so Creality must have a solid bed and solved the bed warping problem. The overall print quality looked very good and the large heated chamber seems like it's going to help a lot. Nathan Builds Robots is usually a harsh critic and he had little bad to say, so maybe Creality finally fixed everything from the K1 series while adding much wanted improvements.
I can only agree on the K1 and the trust issues you have with the new K2, unfortunately it's getting more and more a wait out first batch type of deal unless you have the skill and patience to beta test new products.
I will point out that my K1 Max Ai camera, though I don’t get an alert either, does stop the print if it detects spaghetti happening in any color except black. It’s certainly saved me some filament. I do like the printer, but that all said, my next printer will not be a Creality lol I know you aren’t excited for the K2, but I hope you end up with one eventually to roast it in depth like this vid, or that somebody extensively tests the hell out of it. MAYBE it ends up being a good printer (doubt it, but am fine with being wrong)
Who knows I may end up with a K2. Problems always tend to find me. Like I said I don't hate Creality, I just don't trust them. That being said I do love messing with tech and solving problems. I haven't had very much luck with the camera unfortunately.
@@zerodotcmd I feel like it might be worth having just as a tech/printing channel, for the content, the views, and in your case, the problem solving as it arises. Also yeah, I actually didn’t expect the camera to work beyond providing an image either given what I’ve read about it, but I’m always shocked to find it actually detect spaghetti and stop itself from printing more (I think black filament blends into the build plate too much for it to do it with that)
I’m not sure why so many people in the comments think you’re angry. Anyone who has been in the 3d printing market for more than a week knows that this is all true. Creality has had a massive problem with quality control since the beginning. And it never gets resolved. Honestly, at this point, anyone who buys a creality printer deserves what they get. They will work but you’re going to have problems and it’s always going to need fixing or tinkering.
People are biased and need to justify and excuse the fact that they bought a product from a company that lies to their customers and doesn't respect them. Unfortunately when someone tells the truth it sometimes conflicts with the lies people tell themselves.
I have 2 k1 max, 1 x1c, 1 voron 2.4. The k1 max's print bed is really terrible, but the printed product is still fine. I haven't seen any errors yet. The 2 k1s run almost 24 hours, maybe I'm lucky. haha
If its hard to trust that you'll have a good experience with a brand new product, it is even harder to trust that you'll have a good experience with a refurbished product. This was most likely a good call to avoid it.
Going from $99 ender 3 Pro’s that required mods and tinkering to become adequate was fine. Was disappointed with how much hand-holding was required on my K1 Max. Was miles away from being an expensive “turn-key” style printer. Bambi isn’t perfect either but still acceptable out of the box, in comparison.
That lawsuit unfortunately will end up effecting everyone. I'm completely disgusted at the state of US patent law. Strata can't compete so they called in big brother to come take out their competition.
Must of been lucky then cause I've been printing for hundred of hours, probably 500+ with the k1 with little errors... also changed the nozzle recently and is hardly difficult, takes like 20min. I'll buy another creality cause works for me so far
True words. My K1 was a pain in the ass… I wont trust anything Creality will release in the future and im done with them. Bad customer support is another point on the long list.
I think you are bang on with every point you raised. I had quite the Awakening with creality when they were marketing their Sprite extruder as an all-metal extruder good up to 300 degrees Celsius when in turn it was just some garbage metal inside not titanium as they stated... this only happened because mine literally went into a meltdown and upon disassembly that is what I discovered. When I wrote them an email and let them know my Discovery they completely ignored me. Fast forward a few months they released a new one called the Sprite extruder Pro and lo and behold guess what it has a titanium throat such as the original Sprite was supposed to have
This sounds exactly like the behavior that Creality will unfortunately be known for. It sucks that you can buy an extruder and its nothing like advertised. It also doesn't shock me that Creality wouldn't even respond to the email.
Creality isn’t the only one with these same issues. FLSun is pretty much the same. I made the mistake of purchasing a T1 a year ago. I waited 8 months for it and it was not worth the wait. It’s like they fired everyone that designed their previous products and let the marketing dept take over.
Exactly. Creality isn't alone in this situation and it really sucks for consumers. It's hard to trust any of these brands now days. Even some of the best still have problem, but Creality is on a whole different level.
The price of some of these machines are getting to the point you could make your own enclosed 500x500x500 printer. Using some pretty decent components. And I’m presuming most of the people thinking that are capable of producing jigs using machines already owned 🤷🏻♂️
Dunno, I see reddit just as filled with printing issues on Bambu. Same shit as Creality printers' issues. Only they've paid 3x as much for theirs, which stings.
I feel for you. OUCH. You are so smart and it seems your time is spent tweaking the machines instead making things. I went through this with Prusa, taking there time to really make a GREAT machine and me becoming a prusa expert, WHY? Bambu dude. I do not sell them have thousands of ours on them and Love them. I just make stuff, for around the house, for the cars, for gifts, just everything and fast and CLEAN. Since you are a tweaker in the mechanical sense your Bambu Prints are going to be AWESOME not like the people that start on babus and cannot get a decent print. I mean AWESOME prints. I do not work for or sell bambu stuff. Their Black Friday sale is in 7 hours..... get something and free yourself. Yeah.. I have prusa, predator , mini delta and I am awesome with Resin printers but backing away for now and staying with creating more with FDM.....PPA-cf for autos. thanks for posting ....I totally feel for you...dump them
I get a lot of enjoyment out of actually making things. You're right, the Creality machines have definitely put a hold on a lot of thing's I had been working on. I'd rather be designing than fixing the Creality machines. These machines will eventually get replaced for something else.
All the content creators have to agree to embargo’s set at a designated date by manufacturers. BambuLab is one of the worst with this having black listed creators for releasing content just hours before the embargo lift due to time zone mistakes. So Creality doing this isn’t anything new.
I hope you arent talking about The Next Layer. He blatantly blew through the holding period. Released a video on another platform to "test" teased and pumped his patreon subs for an early look when he knew that it would kick him kicked. This screws over his fellow creators who played by the rules, get early access and affiliate sales. When you get a product with embargo the terms are CLEARLY stated and i have little sympathy for folks who flout the rules, and make "little mistakes" which have major business implications for some companies.
True. But an embargo that last till after pre-orders isn't exactly normal. They also pushed back the ship dates and there are rumors of other things going on with the embargo.
I had two Creality Printer and then I sold them. Both suffered from bad support (replacement poarts and missing software updates). I would not spend a penny on a Creality printer unless it runs with free software and it is dirt cheap.
My K1 Max turned into a customization queen. I replaced the hot end with the Flow Tech. I got the upgraded motors and pulleys and linear rail gantry. I rooted it with Guilouz's script and use Klipper and Mainsail and especially KAMP... etc. etc.
I'm so impressed that Bambu Lab will support their printer for a very long time. Then I look at my K1 and cry. Creality haven't release any new firmware update for almost half a year now T_T I'm buying Bambu machine next year. Probably won't replace or sell my K1, but won't be using it as much anymore.
This is a problem with a lot of companies. Their product roll over is so fast they just keep moving forward and never look back to the products that they've already sold to thousands of customers. It's really unfortunate.
Alignment issues are mostly cause by them cheap out on thin heatbed compare thickness on k1 and voron….. i think voron has 3 tripled thickness…. Creality is just creality i own 3 myself, anyone telling me that creality prints out of box perfectly most of the times either does not know how it should print or doesnt care…. Majority printe can be printed out of box but with some parts you will need to play about for a good while
I've seen quite a few people who are happy with the quality that comes out of their Creality machines right out of the box. I know a lot of people deeper into 3D printing would never find the quality of these prints acceptable. But at the end of the day, if they are happy, then that's a good thing.
@@zerodotcmd yeah dont get me wrong whatever makes them happy let it be it. But reality is that creality tells u that 5mm diviation in bed is fine upto -2.5 and +2.5 no print is going to be fine with these differences……. Even half that is very bad and if it prints small toys in center of the bed most likely they will fail with thin parts closer to edge they just have no need for it but machine should give you this ability out of the box
@@infinitewars6373 Agreed, I'm not sure how Creality can say a 5mm difference is fine. I personally never accept anything over 0.2 and really prefer under 0.1. realistically anything above 0.3 is completely unacceptable.
@@zerodotcmd yeah well keep in mind its not single thing you are fighting if it was disaligned by 2m but perfectly flat and printer frame strong enough you might get away with compensating but there are to many factors and 5mm is total bs😂 do you have k1 max? Close the door grab it by one of top corners and push it to side to see if it wobles on my max with good push doors are going past frame where its meant to sit which is about 2mm out of square, my ender 3 is more rigid than this card board box……
Like I said, I don't hate Creality, just don't trust them. Given enough of a discount and spare cash even I would play with the K2. I just wouldn't believe anything they said about it.
Hmm, it seems that i was lucky enough to get my K1C with no problems and bed level difference in 0.4 mm which i fixed to 0.1mm with printed shimmers. Yeah creality got problems, but i think that for this price (k1 machines, enders) it's pretty decent. The main and general plus for me, that creality forces me to think of improvements, to dive into the firmware etc. You simply not just sitting in CAD and printing, you doing mods, changing components, experimenting. For now, i'm going on heavy mods with my K1C, not just lid risers and legs, but changing to rails. And also going to model and build my own machine like voron. So big thanks for creality for that force pushing me to dive deeper and learn things!) P.S: these printers are for people who want to deep dive, and redy for challenges. If you want to just print or to have a 3d farm - dun't buy them
I'll admit there is a certain enjoyment when working with and upgrading printers. But if someone just wants to print, then they should stay far away from Creality.
@@zerodotcmdI feel like it's more like stay away from early production units... I got my K1C fairly recently and it doesn't have any noticeable issue out of the box, except for the relatively more picky ones (e.g., slow heating chamber, potential MCU overheat, and bad air filtering)
K1/K1Max owner, yep, cant disagree with anything here, the bad factory QC/Design with the bed, followed by the "open source" lie, load cell stuff isnt open so you cant just replace Crealitys 3+ year old kipper version.
do not understand why you brought so many printers and bash all of them as being junk, I have a K1 max only changed the build plate (put on a wham bam) use Nano Polymer Adhesive on the plate and printer does a really good job. Now are other printers out there what makes a near perfect print yes my 2 pursa mk4 print better then any other printer on the market! I got a k2 for the CFS to use up all part rolls of filament and it really large sized bed. if has issue "hope not" i deal with them. I had a Bambu X1C it was worst then any of your K1 you have I could not get one thing to print from there own sliced files so I returned it. I think you got all these printers because of price and speed and what a pursa print from them I would say you brought and brought same printer then go this sucks REALLY
I've had Creality printers before. I always expect there to be one or two issues here or there, no matter the brand. But the K1C has been by far the worst offender. out of 6 machines only 1 of them printed fairly out of box. It's something I have no issue correcting. But people need to be honest about products and brands. Unfortunately the truth is Creality has horrible quality control, design issues and also dishonest practices. I would like this to not be true, but it is. I would prefer companies just release great products. I also wouldn't exactly recommend the Bambu machines either. but that's very several other reasons.
IMO Creality should stop trying to be Bamboo and go back be Creality: Affordable printers, with fair quality control, not perfectly ready to go, but everything made to be adjusted by the user, and easy to customize. To be fair, my K1 worked very well out of the box, with no issues (the bed tilting was not perfect, but acceptable), but I miss the Ender3 experience: Just put on a SD card with custom firmware and it's done, lots of replacement nozzles everywhere, whant to upgrade the print head? Tons of options from Creality itself or third parties, just some screws away. K1 is a good hardware by itself and customizable, but everything is proprietary, difficult to access and renamed/hidden (Klipper-Creality OS, OrcaSlicer-CrealityPrint, etc), so requires an effort that should not be needed.
This is all true. The K1 Series itself isn't the worst printer I've seen. It just should be sold and marketed how it currently is. If someone likes tinkering then by all means the K1 is perfectly fine. But if someones expecting the perfect out of box experience then maybe the K1 isn't the right machine for them.
Bambu has a good reputation. I do feel like there are other machines out there that are still great options. A lot of people seam excited about the Qidi printers. even though they are ugly.
'Why does a company put a content embargo on a new product'. You're new to this aren't you....AMD, nVidia, Intel, eVGA, ASUS, Gigabit, PRUSA, Elegoo, Bambu and more all use content embargos. holy h3ll...
Just because a practice is common doesn't mean it's right. If a company is doing pre-orders while not allowing peer reviews, this is anti-consumer. It shocks me how much consumers feel the need to defend large corporations that obviously do not care about them or their community. My entire life has revolved around tech, and trust me, I'm very aware of the anti-consumer practices these companies engage in.
@@zerodotcmd Then don't do business with any companies that do this. So...give up your camera gear, phones, computers, and more. I could pre-order lots of different things from different companies (including PRUSA, and BAMBU when they were starting up), and they had embargos. It's the way it works now. Heck, i did the kickstarter for the CR-6SE from Creality before anybody even got one....and people thought that was wrong. Meh. I got a great printer. It's got over 10K hours of printing on it, along with my Ender3 V1....they work. Are they perfect? Nope, Are they fast? Nope, but they work...and I'm happy for that. Companies use embargos for a reason, many of which are in place 'just in case something goes wrong. Nothing wrong with that.
Although I see the points that you make but honestly it feels like bashing a company as if they are the only company that has Quality Control problems. I do appreciate your opinion and FACTS that you present but the delivery wasn’t to my liking. As they say “To each his own” and regardless of my opinion of this video you’ve gained a subscriber nonetheless.
Sorry if the delivery felt a little off. Creality is far from the only company with these issues, but to me they are currently the worst offender. It's not my intent to bash Creality, I don't believe in brand loyalty but I also don't believe in openly just hating a company either. I want companies like Creality to make great products that we can all be happy about. Unfortunately we can't get there unless people are open and honest about the current state of the company. Again sorry if the delivery felt off. It's not my intention to bash, just to be honest.
@@zerodotcmd all you talk about is the previous models and how you don't have a K2. what's next, you start crying about the 2026 Hellcat? because the 2020 dodge truck you bought uses too much fuel?
Seems a bit hypocritical that your video is non stop trash talkkng about Creality when you have a whole wall ok K1s. At my job i use multiple Bambu printers and have constant issues of failed prints, broken extruders and bed hearers failing where as my personal K1 sees about as much use and i have never had an issue with it. Perhaps i got lucky but so far I've had the exact opposite experience you apparently have. It was the fact that the Bambus at my work are constantly breaking that got me interested in the K1 in the first place.
I find it strange that peer review is considered trash talking. There isn't anything that I've said that is dishonest or misleading. Everything I've said in this video directly points to honest issues that not only I but others have with the K1 series printers. Imagine buying a product from a company and then not being allowed to have an informed opinion when you find this product to have problems. It's far from hypocrisy to talk about issues with a product that I have paid for and have found several issues with. I've never once said that Bambu doesn't have issues. As a matter of fact, I take issue with several aspects of Bambu as a manufacturer. The problem isn't whether a printer has an issue; you'd be able to find issues with any printer. The problem is the current state of Creality and its current designs, quality control, and practices. I won't fanboy over any company and have zero brand loyalty. If there is a problem with a product, I will be honest about it. Simple. It is very strange that people feel the need to defend large companies and products when these same companies would easily throw a customer down a well if it increased their quarterly earnings. Creality is not your friend; there is no reason to defend them when someone is telling the truth.
That's awesome. I'm glad you're having a good experience. Unfortunately this is the problem with Quality Control. Not everyone gets the same experience.
@zerodotcmd i understand that as I work in and with that for software day to day. There are a lot of people whom had horror stories with Bambu as well. It just seems like the video was doom and gloom and nothing from them is good quality.
Lol, I'm actually sitting in a room with all the lights off except for very bright film lights about two feet directly in front of my face. It's actually incredibly difficult to film like this, since the only thing I can see is bright white. Over time, I will have to address this problem. Sorry that this is disturbing; I've never really noticed.
Lol every single company that releases new product imposes embargo on info until they are ready. How many graphic card tests have you seen that were released more than a day before the product? 😂 And Creality don't need to push for more pre-sales because there isn't any lol. All were sold long time ago and no more will be available until full release. And then it's just market. They will be more or less succesfull. And K1 were released too early with issues. Shocking, just like almost any other printer out there these days. Not like Bambu were perfect from day1 😄 Pretty much all the issues were sorted so don't see the problem now. Looks like every muppet will be releasing vidoes like that (already seen a couple), looking for imaginary sensations just to catch some views. I bet there will be the same bull💩 when Bambu finally decides to release their new "flagship" 🤣🤣
While this is mostly true, not every company uses content embargo's. And even if every company did I still wouldn't agree with them. They are asking people to buy a printer while not allowing peer review? Even if this is "standard" behavior, I still believe it is an anti consumer practice.
I wish America would get back to innovating and competing on the global production stage. To many business degrees, Not enough business! It's hard for American companies to do anything when they have 5 managers for every employee.
the best printer in the world is my ender3 pro V1 yes my V1 ender is the best better then your X1Cs your K2s and your QUDI.s the one and only ender! is my i say my ender my ender.....
Big time.

Sometimes people get lucky with their purchases. Unfortunately this isn't the case for the majority of K1 Series owners.
My X1C is very appliance like and has improved my experience by leaps and bounds.
That sounds about right! While some people still experience issues, the Bambu machines are pretty close to the best out of box right now.

What type of issues did you have?
@@anderslagerqvist2642 I haven't purchased a K2 and have no plans to do so. I've based my current opinions and lack of trust on their current behavior and products.
I started with an ender 3v2 and then a couple more creality printers and I think they may believe they can just make it "good enough" and they will stay on top. Now I do not want to see them go out of business. I want to see them put out a great product so that we all win.
@@MrBassard I don't want to see them go out of business either. I want to see them correct their mistakes and continue to grow.

Happily sold my k1 max last week and never looking back.
Qidi plus 4 has been everything I had expected from the k1 max
Awesome thanks for the sub! the Qidi printers have a really good reputation right now. I've talked with quite a few people who are excited about them.
Interesting. My K1 max is still with me just because I can't afford to swap ATM.
Honest, he didn't lie or omit anything. I'm signed up and trying to save my 3 machines. Thank you, this represents me.
Here's to hoping the K2 plus is worth at least 50% off 😅
Thanks again for the honest review of Creality 🖖🏻
%50 off may be worth playing with as long as you know what to expect. Hopefully you have a decent experience, never know :)
@@zerodotcmd Those were my thoughts exactly. Here's to hoping.
It's almost always just better and easier to replace parts with upgrades and after market options.
Came for the K2 info and stayed for the rant.
Jesus, I just ordered K1 MAX, I AM SCREWED 😂😂😂, Thanks for the video, great info.
You never know. some people end up being lucky. Expect the worst hope for the best. 😊
100% Creality knows the issues the printers have. They should have addressed the bed problems before the release of the final production models.
I have had zero issues with the dozens of hours of printing i have completed with my K1C!
This is awesome :) It's good when you can just hit print and go. Unfortunately not the case for everyone :(
I was thinking about grabbing a K 2 but I think I will wait to see what happens, and now Qidi is coming out with the Qidi box we will see what happens, because everyone wants a bigger multi color printer we already have the mid size P1S
Both multi color and larger format printers are at the top of the wish list for everyone right now. Personally I just want a printer that works flawlessly out of the box with a single filament first. I'm interested to see what Qidi ends up with.
@@zerodotcmd oh there is a bunch of single color large format printers out that work straight out the box
It's unfortunate that so many people have to put in a lot of work on these printers to get the advertised results.

@@1285pupi I've just seen this. Its a nice addition.
This channel's so underrated, now I'm kinda tilting back to voron trident then add ercf later if I have to fix things myself anyway.
Thanks! My thoughts exactly, If you're going to be forced to work on a printer, it might as well be a printer you want to work on.
Yeah this is true. Even after turning it on its very hit or miss. I've had zero luck with it.

There are plenty of decent printers out there. Just be careful to not only research but search out unbiased owners of these printers for their opinions.
That is really good points!
Great synopsis on creality. Was going to purchase K2 but will hold off until more people use it and post their crying on UA-cam - the poster here looks so much like Collin Feral.
It's always best to see what the overall community has to say before dumping a bunch of money. Collin Farrel is a decent looking guy, so I'll take it.
got 2 x K1 Max, no probem what so ever, so glad i bought them, I have even ordered the K2, hope they sorted out the problens you have, but why buy so many ?
I got the K1C's because of the bulk pricing discounts since they are for a farm. In the future I will be sticking with another brand for the farm.
And even worse paying almost five times for a system that may not even work correctly.
For the fan, I cut the mesh that covers the inlet which chokes the airflow. After cutting the mesh, I’ve seen an improvement with the MCU cooling
Not a bad idea at all. every little bit of airflow counts.
Covering the fan outlet was a bad idea by creality.
@ it is actually the inlet, at least for mine. I guess you can flip the fan and make it an outlet but I rather have the fan blow to the board

I wouldn't be surprised to see if that's why they're waiting.
Let's see what this advance purchase is going to bring us and let's hope that for the price it is, it won't be a headache. greetings.

Thanks. I think it's important for people to be honest about products and the companies that produce them.
This has been my experience with reality also
Unfortunately its been a lot of peoples experience.
The K1 series has a lot of flaws which means I don't recommend them. They are also making some creators delay their K2 video releases until after customers get their printers? Very bizarre. Not betting on a trouble free launch here.
Exactly. The content embargo is a massive red flag.
Glad you found the video helpful. Best of luck finding the right printer for you!
I'm not really convinced that Creality actually uses their printers. A lot of these issues are very easy to solve.
If you get a Creality…be prepared for self repair
Pretty much true at this point.
The Osborne effect. Never do any press about your upcoming model while you are still selling your current model.
Also true.
Preach brother!
I will point out that my K1 Max Ai camera, though I don’t get an alert either, does stop the print if it detects spaghetti happening in any color except black. It’s certainly saved me some filament. I do like the printer, but that all said, my next printer will not be a Creality lol
I know you aren’t excited for the K2, but I hope you end up with one eventually to roast it in depth like this vid, or that somebody extensively tests the hell out of it.
The 2 k1s run almost 24 hours, maybe I'm lucky. haha
Sometimes we get lucky, and that's a good thing. I'm glad your printing is working out well for you 😊
It sounds like k1 needs the same amount of tinkering as my ender3. Good to know thanks. I wish you can do the similar video on qidi tech printers.
I would LOVE to do videos on the QiDi printers!
Most honest chinese company:
There are a lot of honest Chinese companies. Just not Creality.
Damn near almost bought a Refurbed k1 max today but decided not to. Looking at these comments. Glad I didn’t.
If its hard to trust that you'll have a good experience with a brand new product, it is even harder to trust that you'll have a good experience with a refurbished product. This was most likely a good call to avoid it.
K1 se works perfect
Nice. Some people get lucky with the K1 machines, Just not everyone.
This is exactly the problem. Imagine buying a car but the wheels don't work. Most people don't buy a car to become a mechanic.
bambu are hamstrung with the law suit perhaps. Is qidi the answer mean time?
I've got a first batch k1 original so I've had everything mentioned here.
That lawsuit unfortunately will end up effecting everyone. I'm completely disgusted at the state of US patent law. Strata can't compete so they called in big brother to come take out their competition.
Bambu hopefully will be gone soon and the cult will go away.
Qidi looks good 👍
After all creality or bambu 😊
There are several other good options out there. One standout with excellent price to performance is FlashForge.
QiDi Q1 pro, когда появился на свет, по моему, победил всю линейку К1. Пусть и выглядит забавно, но в нём нет "детских болячек".
I will admit the QiDi Q1 Pro does look funny. lol it's one of the only things I don't like about it.
Must of been lucky then cause I've been printing for hundred of hours, probably 500+ with the k1 with little errors... also changed the nozzle recently and is hardly difficult, takes like 20min. I'll buy another creality cause works for me so far
Some people get lucky with their machines. Nothing wrong with that. If it works good then use it 😊
True words. My K1 was a pain in the ass…
I wont trust anything Creality will release in the future and im done with them.
Bad customer support is another point on the long list.
I agree, it's hard to trust a company with a history like Creality. Hopefully some other players really step up in the market outside of just Bambu.
That's true! DIY is always an option and even more so today as project guides and kits are becoming more and more available.
Media embargoes are perfectly normal across industries and nothing to do with confidence in the profuct
It's a matter of perspective. From my perspective it doesn't inspire confidence.
Dunno, I see reddit just as filled with printing issues on Bambu. Same shit as Creality printers' issues. Only they've paid 3x as much for theirs, which stings.
This is also true. Bambu has better marketing. Its apple for the 3d printing community.
That's an appalling lack of respect for their customers.
Agreed. If enough customers become vocal companies like Creality wont be able to get away with the way they behave towards customers.
This isn't fair to other creators in the community at all. Not exactly what I would call considerate.
Sometimes a printers so cheap its hard to argue price. But I would never buy Creality without first accepting exactly what I'm getting myself into.
I have a ender 5 pro, only fraime is left.
My K1 Max turned into a customization queen. I replaced the hot end with the Flow Tech. I got the upgraded motors and pulleys and linear rail gantry. I rooted it with Guilouz's script and use Klipper and Mainsail and especially KAMP... etc. etc.
Forgot to say I went through all three versions of the extruder, too.
The Flow Tech is awesome. I really want to do a video on this asap. And absolutely love KAMP!
I'm so impressed that Bambu Lab will support their printer for a very long time. Then I look at my K1 and cry. Creality haven't release any new firmware update for almost half a year now T_T
I'm buying Bambu machine next year. Probably won't replace or sell my K1, but won't be using it as much anymore.
This is a problem with a lot of companies. Their product roll over is so fast they just keep moving forward and never look back to the products that they've already sold to thousands of customers. It's really unfortunate.
@@zerodotcmd Yeah 🥲 They abandoned their old product very quickly, and the K1 isn't even that old. It's just a base model.
In fact i tell you i bet i could take my ender 3 by top part of gantry and beat the shit out of k1 and it still not be out of square 😂
I snagged one at 50% off...$800.00. I'll risk it. I'm enough of a tinkerer to endure it and ride it out till I can make it right,
Like I said, I don't hate Creality, just don't trust them. Given enough of a discount and spare cash even I would play with the K2. I just wouldn't believe anything they said about it.
yet some how i have had 0 of those issues.🤣
Sometimes we just get lucky. 😊
So big thanks for creality for that force pushing me to dive deeper and learn things!)
P.S: these printers are for people who want to deep dive, and redy for challenges. If you want to just print or to have a 3d farm - dun't buy them
Well said. If you want a PROJECT get a Creality. If you want a PRINTER get something else.
I'll admit there is a certain enjoyment when working with and upgrading printers. But if someone just wants to print, then they should stay far away from Creality.
@@zerodotcmdI feel like it's more like stay away from early production units... I got my K1C fairly recently and it doesn't have any noticeable issue out of the box, except for the relatively more picky ones (e.g., slow heating chamber, potential MCU overheat, and bad air filtering)
true
Well said. I agree 100% with all you've said.
Sounds like another inexperienced user who expected everything to work smoothly with no hiccups
I'm horribly inexperienced...
wow, so i did a right choice with the Bambulab
Not a bad choice at all.
Creality is just cheap, that’s what gets you. I guess it is time for me to buy a bambu. If only I could get one that doesn’t spy on me
Bambu has a good reputation.
Some people just see the world differently. And that's ok. We don't have to agree, nor do we need to argue.
Really? Created a new account specifically to attack Creality & K2P? Are the competitors really panicking LOL
@@crusader-hcq lol ? I didn't know I was one of Creality's competitors.
It's not my intention to bash, just to be honest.
clickbait.
This will be the first and last time I open up one of your vids.
Not click bait. You must be confused because the future K2 is exactly what I'm talking about. If you don't see that you misunderstood something.
@@zerodotcmd all you talk about is the previous models and how you don't have a K2.
what's next, you start crying about the 2026 Hellcat? because the 2020 dodge truck you bought uses too much fuel?
Sick of these unfinished “Beta” printers. Creality, Qidi, Anycubic etc…
Everyone is trying to race against each other and the customers are paying for it.
I never had a problem with my K1.
Why you blink so much and look right and left? It´s quite disturbing while watching your videos.
@@zerodotcmd It is just an advice. Anyway, good job with the videos, keep it up !
Exactly, bambu is working on new printer now too ... Yet no one can talk about it.
Embargo on new products is older then internet.
While this is mostly true, not every company uses content embargo's. And even if every company did I still wouldn't agree with them. They are asking people to buy a printer while not allowing peer review? Even if this is "standard" behavior, I still believe it is an anti consumer practice.
We honestly need an American company to make a decent desktop 3d printer
I wish America would get back to innovating and competing on the global production stage. To many business degrees, Not enough business! It's hard for American companies to do anything when they have 5 managers for every employee.
@zerodotcmd very true!
the best printer in the world is my ender3 pro V1 yes my V1 ender is the best better then your X1Cs your K2s and your QUDI.s the one and only ender! is my i say my ender my ender.....
The ender is obviously the greatest printer ever made!
