i see no difference you could’ve got that hair just just a layered cut and blow drying your hair away from your face as you do a curling motion. i don’t think it was worth it

The difference isn’t in the fact that it’s permed/curly, it’s the fact that my hair has more volume, holds a curl, and doesn’t have to be washed so often bc it’s no longer pin-straight

@@traceofhearts_what makes it 'digital' and how much does it cost?

@@emmib1388 its a perm that uses hot rollers with the temp controlled by a machine with a digital display, which is where “digital” comes from. Price $400-$550

@@traceofhearts_ wow , times have changed since the Toni perm ...and it is quite a bit more expensive, but I am sure the smell is better and lasts longer (and done correctly)! Thanks for taking the time to share! Hope it lasts a while for that amount of money -- well, for me it is a lot -- I know for others who maintain their hair it isn't.

@emmib1388 the rods are hooked up to wires and the wires are hooked up to a digital machine. It's a concept that was used in the 50's. The only difference is the type of rod being used back then is similar to the regular perms given now compared to the digital perms. Just Google the history of perms.
