- I actually didn’t know my iPhone shot 4k until yesterday, and 30FPS is supposed to play nicest with UA-cam’s settings so I wanted to give it a quick try. Gain a little over noon on Mark IV mode on my Mark V.

What Cam said! How you been, buddy? Watch for a text from me in the next day or so. Yeah, been working on my picking a lot lately - the Cracking the Code stuff was a ton of help, less from any dogmatic top-down look than by helping me understand mechanically what my pickstroke was doing, and from there what sort of lines would be pretty natural for me and could be done relatively efficiently vs which were inefficient and would cause me problems (and, in some cases, some of the adaptations I'd developed that I thought were themselves inefficiencies, but weren't and should be leaned into). Most of the string changes here are after downstrokes, for instance, except for situations where you can visibly see me (if you look closely) rotating my wrist before upstroke changes. It was super helpful just to understand what I was doing, and it's really helped me get my picking into at least reasonably good shape.
