I’m pretty sure every “main” cop on this show has been kidnapped or someone close to them has been. Voight was, in season 2 I think...? Jay has like 10 times (due to UC work though) Olinksy...Can’t remember. But his wife was held hostage for bit. Ruzek..don’t remember..but probably. Antonio’s kid was. Burgess was...sorta..when her and Roman found that warehouse. Erin was in a UC op. Kevin just was.. I thought Trudy was too but I think she kidnapped the guy who beat her up instead.
When Chris Farley Died Chicago cops gave the drugs to Farley’s friend and he flushed them down the toilet. They knew the press would be in the hotel room and since the guy was dead there was no reason to keep them around just to ruin the poor guy’s reputation. I love the Chicago PD.
