Bob Harris: The International Bank of Bob

Bob Harris grew up working class in Ohio but eventually became a luxury travel writer, globetrotting from one swank hotel to the next-until the poverty all around him in some countries, facing people not significantly different from his own parents, demanded he take action. Through Kiva.org, Bob has made more than 6000 small loans to mom-and-pop businesses in nearly 70 countries. Curious to see the impact for himself, Bob then traveled the glove to meet clients and share their stories. At times funny, tragic, inspired, and harrowing, The International Bank of Bob is ultimately a celebration of hope for the entire human family.
