      You definitely can stick to just a couple seasonings and then try adding one new one each time you make it, just to make sure you like it.

    This is what I will be cooking for my Mom!! Thank you!
    Can you add the pig feet and collard greens together to cook t the same time?

    • @TannyCooks
      @TannyCooks  10 місяців тому

      Thanks! The collards would only take about 20 minutes in the pressure cooker where the pig feet would take 2 or 3 times that amount of time (depending on how tender you want them). I would probably do a test recipe first, cooking it all together before I made it as a dish to serve someone else just see see how it turns out.

      I’m sure it will be yummy! Don’t be afraid to cook it a little longer if you feel it need to be a little more tender for your liking!

    How long should I par boil for. 1 or 2 hours?

    • @TannyCooks
      @TannyCooks  Рік тому +1

      It really only needs to boil for a few minutes to start to see the gunk/impurities floating in the top of the pot. Depending on the temp you are cooking on and the amount of pig feet, it should only take 15 - 30 minutes to get the pot to a rolling boil. Then you can turn you stove off and move the pot to a different eye to let it cook down maybe 10 minutes or so before you drain and rinse the pig feet with cool water running in your sink. I do have another Pig Feet video that goes into more detail about cleaning/cooking pig feet here -> ua-cam.com/video/bdex7LQX1rQ/v-deo.html
