I love this new style. The best-looking Accord in a long time, IMO. And I love how they carry over the design language on the rear from the Civic to the Accord. It really helps to unify the brand family.

I love everything about the new Accord except the back end body of the car.
Agreed!! The tail lights and the fastback look are not attractive. Also, not feeling the console display......feel out of place.

Nice video on the LX! These new Accords looks pretty nice! At first I wasn't a huge fan of the rear end of the car, but it's growing on me. I'm looking into purchasing one of these, probably LX or Sport trim, in the future when my 2017 Volkswagen Jetta lease ends. 😊 Honda out did themselves with all the features you get with the LX.

I wish they would have made Android Auto and Apple Car play standard (or at least an option) on the LX. Very competitive though for a base trim. Great features, value for the money, and Honda reliability :)

Lawrence Figuerres Yep it was almost a perfect entry level trim. No apple car play is a killer , should been offered on all trims at least as a option. I just bought a 2018 LX , I’m really hoping there is a way to do a swap , or aftermarket options . What’s funny is my 18 Elantra had apple car play , but a 5k more car does not offer it
Caleb Niederhofer things like honda sensing and your leds on everything except the high beams will definitely bump the price, but it’s still a great car. there’s definitely aftermarket options if you really wanted carplay
taking off the lane mitigation/warnings is useful if you switch lanes without your blinker, if not then the steering wheel will vibrate every single time you get near the lane lines

Fadic 4 what would be the point? It's the base model not the highest one. If they put all the features on the lx, sales on higher trims would be lower

It's just the tires to compliment the ride so you can get the EX and when you needs new tires just get the less aggressive rubber and the ride would be equal to the LX. I currently own a 2015 Accord Sport and I had the same issues of ride noise so that's what I will do to quite my ride quality.

In answer to your question... The first time I drove my sister's Pilot, Sensing was going off non stop during a heavy rain storm on a windy secluded mountain road. The alerts on the dash and alerts that vibrate the steering wheel were way more distracting than helpful on a tense/scary 2 hour drive. I'm not sure if that is typical of Sensing, or if the conditions were causing Sensing to malfunction. I'm just glad I was able to turn Sensing off because that was a tense 2 hour drive that would have been worse if I had to deal with constant alerts, warnings, and vibrations in the steering wheel.
Agreed. In addition here in the North East, we get a lot of snow in the winter and can certainly block the radar where its located and mess with that. Glad they allow to disable the features.

Just to mention, Canadian version of Honda Accord LX has remote starter, close proximity unlocking, black on Black Interior, 18 inches rims (Bigger than US model 😁)

They opened up the lower grille a bit too much... no protection for bugs and debris. However, they did put protection there in the Hybrid trims.
The grille is what I don't like about, when do the refreshes come out?

To my opinion, people would think this is the Honda Civic, 9th and 9.5th Generation of Accord looked way better than this
Samson Zhu l saw an '18 parked next to a '17 Accord at my local dealer and the '17 looked dated. And I owned a '14 and loved it but I like the '18 way better. Just my opinion tho.
I thought the 2017 looked better too until I saw the 2018 in person, the back looks much better than in pictures.
Too bad no blind spot monitoring. Very useful at night. It think that's a much less expensive addition versus the lane departure and auto braking.

Is it worth upgrading to the sport ? I love the blue with the white interior but the sport only comes in black . I’d love a all white sport with black rims and tints to go with the interior
2018 Accord LX vs Civic 2018 EX - T w Honda Sensing? which one is a better buy?
I'm test driving the EX and Touring, Saturday. I take my mom where she needs to go, now that she doesn't drive. That heated rear seats feature is a winner for her. Nfc and wireless charging is nice. I don't really care for the knobs protruding out. I wanted a Crosstour... why Honda why???

The ex has remote start. Just program a new key with the remote start button and it will work
Wonder what the price will be for the Sport 2.0T 10-Speed. Built the sport already but 1.5T and it’s about 28k after add-ons.

The LX also includes a 6spd maunual.. Only LX and Sport will offer it.
Only sport trims offer the 6 speed. Just did a vehicle search through Honda's dealer search and 6 speeds are NOT available in a 6 speed.

Gorgeous car, but no button to open the trunk? My old 2003 Subaru has a button to open trunk. No infotainment or power seats, but has a button for trunk. Is just unbelievable that we have to get the higher trim level for something so basic. Just stupid.

I am honda fan but it has not that function on se model,hyundai has many more features backup camera,sensor system, eco mode for gas savings and many more, honda dont have that much features like hyundai se, i got 0 down and 0%apr for 72 months.before 5 months ago i paid 25%apr on mazda cx9 after 5 months brand new car with 0 apr wow, i used 100% credit limit and paid full each months and credit bump 400 in 6 months.honda hasnot 0apr
Does the LX get a boost gauge when shifting into S mode?
Why are the gaps on the hood off? Like it's been put together quick and sloppy.
I love the car but I think it might be a future sensor problem because the second day a had the car I pressed the push button to start the car and all the sensor dash lights turned on and instructed me to return the car to dealer because it was having issues

945nairb the top more expensive trims get the buttons all the ones equipped with the cvt get the shifter, so you have it mixed up

you did not say anything about mpg....is it higher or lower than the 29/41 mpg of the 203 hp 2018 camry?
it's 30 city, 38 highway mpg
its very close....both accord and camry have very good reliability history.....now its a matter of style preference :)
The 41 mpg Camry doesn't have any features. No power seats, smaller wheels, no rims, no push button start, only 1 usb and 1 12 volt outlet
Mitul Jariwala camry does have push buttons on the xle and xse and the le and the se has an option of it
