at least we will get more info really close, but will we get a release date with it? will we get it before 2025??

I think I know why there's new voices. There's going to be so much more dialogue because most of the survivors are reused clips of the same voice actors, and all their text is shown to us in dialogue boxes. They're not gonna repeat that for the remaster, they're gonna have actual spoken words with captions optional. :D
i think they wouldnt go that far cuz having the caption was stuff a nice way of just having a fast convo without having to listen to a slow talker. i would think it would take too much time and resources unless they find a way to implement AI into the game to create unique voice dialogue every single time.
i would hope that when it comes to the looks of the characters and their voices, they dont go too crazy with the changes

All in all, DR has always been my all time favorite game and I hope this is as good as the RE:makes

Ive been absolutely binging the original since this was announced. I forgot how fun it was, still one of my all time favorites.
ive played DR from time to time on my old 360 and now im contemplating just buying it on steam and trying to get all the achievements!

Tj rotollo also voiced frank in dead rising 3 in the dlc technically the last time he voiced him at least in a dead rising game
The first Dead Rsing had it's silly moments but kept the tone more serious than the other games.I really hope they improve the mall new shops,weapons,the same mall music is a must either way i am excited for it.However i hope they don't rush the release plus the new voice actor for Frank alot of buzz going around for that.I wont judge until i played the game here's hoping the game is good.

Franks response to most of the pyschos was silent disgust. It was a serious horror game. Chuck brought in the one liners then Frank doubled down on them. But the first one had the best story/tone. I do love DR2 though. It all got a bit silly after that.

DR is a one of a kind game and I can’t think of a game more deserving of a Remaster in this day and age. I’m worried about some things but also very excited about others so we just have to see what the studio is cooking up for us!
i personaly dont care too much about the new face model or voice, i just want the gameplay to be great like the original is.

Makes sense, there’s still money in this and they should make DR5 afterwards. We just need a DR3 release outside of Xbox, let’s pretend 4 never happened.
Supposedly it comes out this year but I’m a lil worried with the vibes and the jazz music at the end of the trailer and the new voice actor
Yeah I feel like they wanna sell the remaster as a fun zombie killing sandbox game and not a slightly cheesy/serious zombie apocalypse game
We have the capcom event and that should help give us some more info about the game and hopefully a release date!
I think the jazz thing is like a musical cue, like when introducing someone famous. I think it was just for trailer purposes . A ‘HE’S BACK!’ if you will.
I’ve heard a few different things about T.J not coming back. Some have said he’s given up the role, others have acknowledged he’s a unionised voice actor.
Capcom went through a period of not retaining union voice actors for Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. I know they’d brought him back for Resident Evil 2 remake, but I imagine, with the bigger budget, they were willing to spend a bit more to have him play the role of Birkin

I hope it's a remaster in name only, the models make it seem more like a remake apart from that zombie model you can see moving away from the camera. I hope it is a remake that's on par with the RE2make I already have the HD version on my modern console so unless they have actually put a decent amount of effort in and not just a silly model swap with a silly name just proves they haven't learned a thing

the Dead Rising series is told through a metaverse type of storyline. the events of the first game happened in Dead Rising 2 off the Record Dead Rising 3 and Dead Rising 4 they're just in a different metaverse❤
i think the only what if story line in the DR-Verse is when Frank goes to paradise falls at the beginning of the outbreak and Chuck is a psycho
other than that im pretty sure its one straight forward story
@@MrMicMac11 is Frank West the same Frank West in all of the games or is he a different Frank in all the games the story they tell in all the games referring to the first game are told different.

I never played 3 and 4 so can’t comment. But one and two plus case zero and case west were in the same world and it’s the same story. Dead Rising 2 Off the Record was a “what if Frank went to Fortune City and Chucks story played out differently?” game. It canonically never happened, although technically still in the same world with the same events and could have been dead rising 2 had they wanted to. I wish more games would do this!

I’m definitely concerned about this remake. I’m sensing dead rising 4 vibes and I don’t like it. Never bought 4 because I heard it was shit and it was lol But the actor being changed feels gross. This Frank sounds like Dead Rising 4’s actor and Frank’s looks… ewwww. I’m worried about gameplay and details that the first had too. I’m gonna watch about more info on this too when it teases more
For sure but I do not believe they would try to go towards the direction of dead rising 4. I can tell you from the comparison done of the original and remastered teaser it seems pretty faithful aside from the changes to frank which looks faithful to the beta version of frank west.
I’m looking forward to it cuz I love the dead rising series and with the capcom event close we can expect some new info real soon!

As long as they don’t mess with the gameplay, difficulty, zombies, horror, gore or timer I’m fine with it. It would be 100% better with T.J but it could simply be a contracting issue or something.
Idk why they couldn’t just get T.J to…act older? Why not just give him notes to add depth to Frank. He’s an actor.. let him build the character he’s already played for years. Hiring a new voice makes no sense and comes across as rude and disrespectful.

Hoping they add the Weapon benches like from Dead Rising 2. Could make the game way more interesting! also more vehicles would be cool. maybe a way to escape the mall as well!
by the looks of how they are adding new/possibly cut weapons into this, and its being called a "Deluxe Remaster", i would think they might add stuff from the sequels that enhanced the gameplay. just hope they just add stuff and not cut stuff out honestly

yeah we still dont know if they are sticking with this voice actor or they could be a stand in, if they could bring TJ back that would be great, if they cant then we will have to just put out trust in the new guy
though i will miss OG Frank saying "Fantastic!" after taking a really good photo :(
