Ryan was suspended for not reporting his supplements by the specific deadline. Because it was decided that he had a tainted supplement.
So the punishment was because of missing the deadline and not the test result because it did not give Ryan ANY enhancement.

As a boxing fan from South Africa, I think Eddie Hearn is the best boxing promoter in the game. If I had to say anything to his ear (in hindsight) , I'd say, "please do not respond to clowns". This is the problem with boxing you can pick and choose your opponents and be considered a champion.. No other sport works like that.
Boxing is an individual sport so you can't compare it to team sports. Only being able to use your fist to punch is looked at as a fair fight amongst casual people in general. So if you win a boxing match, people are entertained by the fact that you're throwing hands. Now in MMA, you're kicking, striking, choking, rolling on the ground together, grabbing ankles so it's not as appealing to casual people. That's why celebrity boxing is entertaining because it's easy to watch people throw hands. On average boxers that may not be well known make way more money than your top MMA stars. MMA stars come to boxing to make money, no one comes to MMA to make money. Now that is a fact

Matchmaking is vital for being a successful promoter. AJ was put in HW witness protection for two years after losing to Usyk then he lost once he stepped back up in competition because he had a tier 2 trainer while boxing weak opponents.

Eddie's all for Devin Haney's lawsuit against Ryan Garcia and Golden Boy. Would he be all for Chris Eubank Jr. suing Conor Benn and Matchroom Boxing if the fight had gone forward and Conor Benn tested positive? Eddie can be very 'principled' when it comes to spending other people's money. He has no shame, and he's proud of it.

That’s not how the law works. Maybe in the UK is does but in America it doesn’t. It’s a no contest because it was an unfair fight because the rules weren’t followed. What are the consequences for that? Fines and suspensions set forth by BOXING. That’d be like an NFL team suing another team because they lost a game to a team who had a player that tested positive for a banned substance in. The NFL has rules and consequences for that.
