Hello, Is there a fee if you bring a backpack? And are you allowed to?
Hi, and thanks for watching my video. Generally speaking, Smithsonian museums don’t like you bringing backpacks inside. I don’t recall the exact rules for this museum, but I am sure there is a magnetometer as you enter, so bring it back. may not be a problem.
Can you please tell me where I can park when visiting the museum?
Parking is a problem. You can park on the street but it’s limited to three hours and cost $6.50 for three hours. There are parking garages, but none of them are too close and require a good walk. Your best bet is to take the metro and get off at the Smithsonian stop.
Also, street parking is nearly impossible to find.
