Darko what do you personally think about this TV, even its Edge Lit? To be honest i saw this TV a few times in real life and i have to say it blowes away 80% of all other TVs that stand in the same room/store. The TV looked much better to my Eye than the Samsung Mini LED.. in the Store.
I have a qned85, great for the daytime, but it completely falls apart with dark scenes in a dark room. Will try these setting to see if it can get a bit better.

IPS was the new thing and... i mean i still LOVE the colors but the bleeding is mean but today still IPS has this problems i went to the store and i saw that there is a led stripe behind every TV... so that was the dirty secret ... still i will contact to support from LG i still think is more that acceptable
i have the same tv but with 43inch and when i want to change the aspect ratio in settings its invisible i mean i cant press it because when im watching at some movies i have black bars at the bottom and the top, please someone help me
From what I say, at 0 there is no any additional sharpening so I would use 0. Of course, best that you check on a static image how does it affect the image - if 30 looks better to you then use it.
This one is going for 750 EUR on black friday sale, that is stupid cheap for a 55" IPS (i cannot tolerate VA) However i know im gonna be disappointed by it I can afford to get G4 but i use HTPC for 99% of usage and I know im gonna get burn in after a couple of years, and LG specifically says in warranty terms that burn in is NOT covered by the 5 year panel warranty So, I'm thinking go "cheap and cheerful" with this QNED and just use a bias light to help with the darker scenes. QNED91 only comes in 65" in my region and that will not fit my cabinet, and its too big for the content we watch (lots of remuxed dvds upscaled on the HTPC)
update: i bought the G4 and the image quality is amazing and there's no way I'm going back to LCD after seeing this level of image, but there is a big problem with G4 and that is screen uniformity, i'm on my 2nd unit cause the 1st one had bad uniformity, this 2nd one is better but there are still scenes that show uniformity issues from time to time. Basically i'm in love with the picture quality but hate the screen uniformity issues, it feels like being caught between a rock and a hard place
@@TVguyDarko Da da , gledao sam Vincentov video za LG C4. I jos neke. Mislim da je solidna nadogradnja u odnosu na C3. U sdr je takodje svetlije, ali pre svega u HDR peak brightness, A bice veliki upgrejd o odnosu na tv koji imam, a imam neki nanocell iz 2019, entry model. Sigurno cu uzeti LGC4, samo cekam da bude na sale uskoro, bice nadam se tamo u 11 mesecu. Uzecu 55 inca jer mi taj najvise odgovara za prostoriju i udaljenost gledanja, plus manji modeli nemaju brigtness booster.

Try a bias light behind the TV, I use a single philips hue bulb at 80% brightness 2700k
@Animal_lives_matter don't own the tv anymore, I now have a TCL 803, really a much better tv then the LG, and it even was cheaper.

I think that might be due to defect
@crazymetallian sorry mate, dont thinks its a defect. Bleeding is horrible on this model, didn't expect it too be this bad given the price.

In game mode (TCL 845) sharpness 30 or 0 ? Factory settings on TCL TV's game mode - sharpness = 30.

Upravo taj tv planiram uskoro da kupim. Zanimala bi me side by side poredjenje sa C3, koliki je upgrejd.
Nisam jos, budem. Ima vec dosta informacija na Rtingsu i HDTVtestu, generalno ako budget omogucuje uzmi C4, inace je C3 sasvim dobar.
