The falling ones are the most difficult to watch. That lady definitely went out like a boss, and taking that thug with her was a bonus. All that flying glass....😱
One thing about this episode felt weird, or very coincidentally that everyone who got pushed or just 'sacrificed' themselves hit a tempered glass. For example at the end it would had been a nice twist when the guy pushed the guy who could see the tampered glass, but he would land on normal glass and actually not die. So all 4 would had finished but we would still see the true colors of the guy who pushed. Hope I made some sense.
12:37 yeaaah no matter what one of you or both of you was gonna die in that situation. Any attempts to find loopholes would have gotte you killed. It sucks but either the husband or the wife was gonna go. 18:15 lol home gurl is trying her best to find loop holes and strategies only to immediately discover theyre flawed.😂 23:10 "I would push him off. Its the smart thing to do." Fast forward later Sang woo how dare you!!
This the episode that psychologically disturbing to me and really cemented the show All the other games you could win on skill but other then the glass contractor identifying the glass this was pure fucking luck and it was gruesome. I love reactions to this particular episode
But, it gave the guy who could tell apart glass the unfair advantage and in this game it’s all about fairness and equality. I guess this way you can justify what he did
I think a lot of people get confused about the rules, when they said fairness they meant that the players all have the same chance They never said the games were fair
If Sang-woo didn't do that, they'd all be dead. Again, stop letting bias blind you to the facts here. As horrible as the things he does may be, they're still usually the 'correct' choice i.e. the choice that would let them live. He's just unlucky enough to always see that course of action, since he's too smart. And as such, he always takes that choice. And Sang-woo absolutely struggles with his actions - this was made pretty clear by his subtle, but very present, reaction to Ali's death. In Sang-woo's case, though, because he knows his actions were the only way he could've survived, he doesn't regret things nearly as much as, say, Gi-hun, who isn't as painfully aware, and also has more regard for others. I hate to say it, but if I knew all the things Sang-woo did were an option I could take, I'd probably take them all. It does take a twisted mind to come up with them - but these games would warp anyone's mind. So yeah, Imma keep playing devil's advocate for Sang-woo lol.
@@CJWest08very constructive reply, I can tell you spend hours deliberating over your comment. OP isn’t wrong, having a character like Sang-Woo highlights the different responses people have to trauma, violence, desensitization, etc. If everyone acted like Gi-Hun there would never be a winner
I'm not sure why you sound so frustrated with Dani and Sam's opinions when they clearly showed they can look at things objectively. Talking about how no one is innocent and they get how these games trigger the player's survival instinct. Sam even literally says "I don't blame Sang-Woo [...] it just sucks". They just have preferences who they like and who less so. Nothing wrong with that. Besides, they're allowed to still not like Sang-Woo as a person, whether or not he made a 'correct' choice for survival. We all have our own moral stance on the matter, that's what makes it fun.
Since the panes were close to each other, if they had incredibly quick reflexes, it could’ve been possible for someone to hop sideways and test the glass strength.
"everyone gets a fair chance". How is changing the lighting "fair"? You use what you have to win right? Tweaking the game to put players at a disadvantage is anything but fair!
Well if we look at that changing the light affect everyone so everyone got equal chance

It is not fair. The front man keeps the game fair up to a point but this episode shows that the entertainment of the spectators have higher priority than fairness.
That is fair. First few players had no idea, and then, the last few players had no idea. Having an expert makes it a little unfair, since the last few player would have a massive advantage. It would appear to be unfair, but its more levelling the playing field than anything.
Only now realised that the guy who lost his wife is smart to ask to stop the game, he would’ve got the money for his wife’s death if they voted to stop the games
The VIP billionaires are incredibly cringe, but its no different to the real life cringe billionaires like Elon Musk. He peddles memecoin cryptos and thinks hes funny for using overdone jokes. You cant tell me he wouldnt also bet money and keep making jokes about number 69 if he was in that position
I think they're especially cringe bc their acting isn't very good, like listen to them when the bridge game is revealed "Looks like a bridge of some sort" "I like the looks of it" "What the hell is that" All of these lines sound like an NPC from a knock off GTA game
@@jiv3o275 oh yeah no I totally agree. Bad acting. Getting western actors for a Korean show was probably tough, and that's assuming that some of them weren't poorly dubbed later. My point was that their cringe speech and "jokes" aren't too far off of real life
RIP the guy who choose the worst moment of his life to decide to go first

While I wanted her to live, I love the killer pettiness in Han Mi-nyeo. She not giving two shits and we love her for that.
Bro she was the most annoying character in the whole show
@@andreimcallister1365 yea she yapped wayyy too much

The masked man said no cheating
But by turning off the light, he cheated as well

@@CJWest08 You're entitled to think that. I'd appreciate if you provided an actual argument though...
