I am a well known fan of Timmy the Ninja cat, but I'd like to go on record as saying that Molly is the most intelligent dog on youtube. Bar none.
❤️
Nick is such a gem, always sharing his skills and practical solutions.
He really is
Love how everyone is calling Nick - Saint Nick these days. Generous with his time and knowledge. Molly and Timmy are stars of the videos.
Thanks Eunice x x
Doing the fencing the right way the first way thanks to Nick's vast knowledge base. You are making so much progress in developing your quinta. Well done.
You opening the goathouse brought tears in my eyes
😞
Brilliant fencing and , well how you taught Molly and Kitty to do that , i dont know . So clever!
What a amazing community you dd, congratulations to you all.
It really is!
I was really wondering why you have massive beams, probably to accommodate 6 floors 😂. Now I understand you're constructing a green roof👍
Great job on the fencing! Nick came to advise on my new fencing as well and it's much stronger than the sheep fencing!
He's the man ❤️❤️
Dirk is such a great friend and an enormous help with your projects. (I hope I spelled his name correctly.) Molly is equally as wonderful. 😍🇨🇦
Molly is amazing….❤
Ummm is Maggie a mastermind? Decides she wants a new enclosure, works out if she bullies Peppa, you will make them a bigger enclosure, one with it's own water source. Her idea has worked out 😆
Good job Nick came and saved Luke's eyes. 👀
Maybe she is 🤣🤣
So happy that Nick the saint come over to help you 💯👍
Glad the piggies are getting on a bit better. What a lovely guy Nick is, so generous with his knowledge & time.
So glad Nick came to help and show you how he has done his, hopefully soon have friendly sisters
Nick is so helpful, I see him in lots of channels helping out.
St Nick is the best ❤️
Nick is such a great neighbour.
Good on Nick. You are so lucky to have him as a friend.😊❤
We know ❤️❤️❤️
So glad you got the fence up and Nick is so kind and knowledgeable his skills are on point. You all have a lovely week🙂💐
Great progress guys.👍
Molly is sooooooo clever! ❤ Well trained by mummy and daddy👏🏽 Maggie and Peppa were so good together when they were younger, they hated being apart. I hope that when you get a male for them it won't create jealousy😁
Thanks Christine x x yes I hope a bigger enclosure and a man will tame wild ways😀
Nick is such a knowledgeable man and a great friend to have. Luke tries so hard to get things done and a does a great job too. Sarah you have so much to do also. And does a great job too. Hope the fencing is going to help with the pigs. Molly and Timmy is such great companions. The learn so much and it shows. Can't wait until Luke gets back to working on the outdoor kitchen. It will be so nice for you both. Another great video.
Thansks Cathy Yes. We do have a lot of lovely friends here x x x ❤️❤️
Great video as usual guys, always a pleasure to help you lovely people ❤❤
You're the best!
Luke cracks me up working in those clogs. I wear them, take 2 steps, turn my ankle, fall face first onto a boulder and crack my head open. Bam; airlift to hospital... lol
He has a gift for doing everything in clogs and not getting hurt i guess🤣🤣
This rainy season is a hassle, if you want to do some work... but as you said Sarah... also much needed. Nice to see Timmy from time to time, but he has his own life going on 😅 great news AND work with the fence 🎉🎉🎉 and Nick was amazingly helpful as usual 👍💪🥰 will the boyfriend come from Nick or Cindy? In the new enclosure, will the girls each have their own pen for the future? Big hugs ❤
Nick will be lending us a male for some sexy time for the girls 🤣🤣
And yes definitely separate pens .. place for 4-6 full grown pigs
@@lukeandsarahsoffgridlife be careful.... Before you know it's going to be a 18+ channel 🤣🤣🤣
I loved it all! Thank you for making me smile! 🙏❤🇺🇸🇵🇹⛵👣🤙🤗
Good idea to use the metal fence posts! Luke how can you walk around the rocks in those crocks? I would topple over! Ha! Great video as usual! Thanks for sharing your life with us. See you next time.
Good job😊
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys, Wow good work guys 👍😁 nice that uncle Nick came by to help what a great guy.
Glad you enjoyed it Yes he is a gem ❤️❤️
Great job guys! Sarah all that uv cleared out from goats shed will make amazing manure! So no waste there 😊
Good ol' Nick always helping others ❤
Thanks Theresa x x
I think what is happening is that there is a dominance problem and Maggie is saying she is the boss. The outside kitchen is going to be fantastic when it is finished and Nick is such a lovely guy helping out all over the place, willing to share his knowledge. Molly is such a lovely dog and companion and is very clever. I would keep the petrol generator as back up, you never know. Another beautiful video Sarah and Luke.
Luckily, Maggies bullying only lasted 2 days this month😀 .yes , we are very lucky to have a lot of lovely friends
Good video! Enjoyed it!
Nick is amazing! Good video!
Couldn't agree more!
Awesome
Oh my Molly, that was so funny. Loads to say.👍❤
Really nice music at the end! Loved the fence advice!
Thank you!
Will love to visit you guys, carry on
Ok❤
Nick to the rescue!❤
He is always ready to help out. Always❤️❤️
Wow!! What a workhorse Luke is - and so multi-skilled, but he's never afraid to seek help to ensure he gets the best outcome. Great, secure job by all three of you - just awesome considering the terrain!
I kept horses, cows and goats together with just star pickets (caps on top), 3 strands of tensioned plain wire and 2 of electric - one high and one low, and never had a breakout. Solar electric might be something to consider around your fabulous veggie patch? I'm a tad jealous at its size but I still.manage to feed myself and neighbours pretty well.
I'm sure the change in dynamics between Maggie and Peppa is just a natural piggy pecking order now that they're older. Pigs have a very strong social hierarchy which starts within hours of birth with the dominant piglets hogging (sorry), the anterior teats which provide the most milk and colostrum . If you’re not planning on breeding have you considered having them spayed as they can develop health concerns later on, and it will help settle aggression issues.
I'm just so loving seeing how Sarah connects with all the animals - an absolute joy to witness, not to mention her childlike spontaneity and laughter - don't ever change!! I was once like Sarah, with the same childhood dreams, so after moving from the UK to Australia, I too started from scratch on an acreage in Tasmania, and mostly achieved those dreams. I was horse mad but loved all animals and gathered all sorts over the years - always wanted a donkey but alas...🥺 I'm 76 now and no longer have land (I get a fix on my daughter's farm here in SE NSW), but I'd still love a menagerie of my own again to love and care for. And going back to another video when Sarah was 'home alone' - I can so identify with her - I not only love time alone, I actually need it to recharge my batteries, and to find someone who understands this is a true blessing. Love 'n' hugs to you both from Oz.
As soon as we finish the pig fence and their pen St Nick will be lending us one of his male pigs to mate with them. We had tried with electric fencing but it just makes us super paranoid because of the fire risk here in pt
👏🌟👍🍀💐
😄
👍❤
I think that your girls, especially Maggie, may really need to become Mums soon. That might calm her down.
Yep we think so too so we will get them a man as soon as the fenced area is finished
It’s sad with animals when they don’t get on as we all know 1 woman one house is generally the rule , heirachy is a thing sarah you know about behaviours in animals more than most , you’ve been blessed how well they have got on , I had a lge pen 8 young show australorps a gentle breed , one had been taken out to see how he stood for showing , 1/2 hour away from brothers put him back in and went down to check on H20 he dead , they then pack mentality started on the smallest , me panicking as to what I had set off I then recalled a show on elephants in Africa males from a orphanage never had fathers they killing rhinos, and were to shoot them as males were dime a dozen , so 3 huge boys brought in and the rhinos were saved , so … I get my biggest male in with them and all the rubbish stopped the hunters got pecked by dad and cured , the pigs need a boy to settle their instincts of motherhood , it’s stressful at times animals , a horse I had not happy chooks scratching around her hay lined up the chook and kicked it stone dead me jaw on the ground omg , stick with them lol hormones❤
Hopefully the new bigger enclosure and pen will help... And both of them getting laid too 🤣
🌹🌹❤🌹🌹
If you have piglets they will go right thru that fence. Might want to wire some finer wire to it, wouldn't have to be more then 18 inches tall. Next with your girl disappearing she could be bred. Look for milk line of developing nipples and check out her vulva. On ours the little pointy part of thier vulva will stick out straighter if shes bred. At least it does on some pigs. Sows it doesn't work as good but gilts it goes better.
Thanks James
Luke, what will you do without a generator in the winter if you sell it?
With the Bluetii systems we have enough energy backup to help us got through those cloudy days in a row.
How do you plan to recharge the bluetti under those circumstances when there is no sun?
@@humbertochaves4099 we have enough backup with all our systems
Are you raising the pigs for meat? If so, will they be ready soon? ❤
Nope
Saint Nick… would you like to be our friend as well please? 😂😂❤❤❤
😁😁❤️❤️
I love your videos. Molly is such a clever dog. But I hate the loud overlay music. Not the actual music, but the volume. I’m having to kill the volume when the music plays and then up it to hear the voices. (Sorry to give you this feedback!)
Keep entertaining us with your exploits. Love from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Thanks for the feedback! It's funny UA-cam can play different volumes on different devices. It's fine on our laptop and phone. Will look into it..what do you watch on?
@@lukeandsarahsoffgridlife iPad Pro through in-ear buds. It’s only certain music, I find. Thank you Sarah!
When you get a ‘friend’ for Maggie and Peppa can we make suggestions for a name?
Nick is lending us Wilbur as soon as the place is ready
I would get rid of aggressive Maggie…sounds Harsh i grew up on farm. Or get her pregnant so she has tribe of babies to look after keep her busy
Hopefully she will get better once we mate her x x
Well I am back in Canada 🇨🇦, I am so sad we missed meeting you both, hopefully next time as I am already planning my next trip to this beautiful country
