My number and thing when it always came to shkiki is that did he forget how to use haki when he was at level 6 or I did because he cut off his legs he couldn't use haki because I would assume that he would have conquerors haki to. that's not to say that every strong person needs conquerors haki I don't think that's the case but it seems like it to be.
@@apollodlee3457 Maybe that's how he got out by using Haki, he just needed time, maybe for the first couple years he was heavily monitored, they noticed he wasn't doing anything, the monitoring stopped, bam, he uses Haki breaks the chains and flies out.
I don't care what anyone says. Shiki was still have a big impact on the main story.

Plot twist: after 20 years, he finally repent and turn over a new leaf. His hair has grown white. He find a set of new clothes, several reindeers, a red sledge and a ton of gifts for childrens around the world and become santa claus of one piece world.

The Golden Lion Shiki! You got to love his backstory and look. Shiki's connection to Roger, Garp, Sengoku, Rocks, WB, Kaidou and Big Mom. Now, this is a living legend who knows a ton of secrets... I hope Oda does a prequel to OP!

You gotta remember how impactful Strong World really was to the series. Not in terms of the story, but the sales. People were so excited for Strong World that a lot of people were buying the old volumes in order to catch up, which gave the series a massive spike in sales

nick johnson oh right, the thing with Zeff happened differently in the anime than in the manga. I keep forgetting that, I was an anime only watcher at that point, in the anime his leg got caught when he was swimming towards young Sanji and he cut it off with a chain to escape...

Dude Kidd is definitely the Shiki of the new generation. Just think about it, islands in One Piece have some sort of "magnetic pull" that the Log Poses use in order to safely guide you to the next island. If Kidd's power really is the power of magnetism, he would be able to fling islands around left and right and even have them float. Not to mention that metals are an element found in the earth. Kidd has the potential to be OP

Shiki has one of the strongest fruits in the series, he fought Garp and Sengoku at the same time and leveled marineford, not to mention escaping Impel Down despite being a high profile inmate. It’s not like he just floated out of the jail after cutting off his legs, I wouldn’t be surprised if he stormed through impel down and escaped with a trail of dead marines behind him before peacing out.
He was also part of the Rocks crew and one of the main rivals of Roger. He was 100% on Rogers level.

I really want to see modern Shiki in the series. I kind of want to see a scene where Black Beard hunts down Shiki and tries to recruit him. Shiki just shoots him down "I'm retired, so no" BB tries to fight him to get his Devil Fruit because it is so crazy powerful. Shiki just floats him away with a waive of his hand and returns to his comic book.

The entire manga is about romance, like the dreams of men it will never end, plus the Dawn of the World has not even come yet, it's what everyone, Pedro especially, was waiting for (Dawn is also likely what D. stands for) so Romance Dusk does not really make sense

I was about 10 when the movie came out getting into anime and manga by myself so watching dragon ball movie and one piece movies confused me. Because I thoughtthey were supposed to be part of the cannon (did not know what cannon was at that point) so watch luffy beat up wapols brother and this stuff never being addressed in the manga and anime confused the fuck out of me.

I'd love to see Shiki back in the current story in some way, although I just don't see him being a subordinate to someone else anymore, not with what he rose up to in the past, unless it's Rocks. It's sort of the same with Shanks, he is his own man and doesn't bow to anyone, but if Roger came back from the dead I think Shanks would still follow Roger to the ends of the world.
