- A fun little technique to give glass bottles a beach glass look. Don’t stop there though, it works equally well with old glass jars that you can use as votives, colourful storage jars...
Mod Podge is available here... amzn.to/3ugOZg5
And acrylics here.... amzn.to/34142Q6

These are beautiful. I kove the colors you created. Thankyou for posting this video.
You are so welcome, hope it was helpful!
Love these and so easy! Thank you!
You are so welcome Jan!
They turned out so pretty, love the colours together ❤️
thanks Brenda - they did turn out nice - I think I now need to do some jars for votives for the back yard... they'll look so pretty with some light shining through!
I love this technique.Im sure going to try this.
I love to hear that!
Really, really lovely. Thanks.
Thank you Angela!
These are very pretty! I've never mixed Modge podge with acrylic paint. Does it make the paint thicker, like a chalk paint consistency?
The acrylics I used were in a tube and were very thick. The Modge Podge actually thinned them down a little.
@@QueenBeeCreations Thank you! I will try this! 🙂
Wonderful!!
What about using a fine grain salt with the pounce coat??
Hmmm… I haven’t tried that with this technique but it would give an interesting texture!
Great video! Thank you! I'm a beginner. What type of paint brushes do I need to paint on wood, canvas, and glass?
Carrie... it would really depend on the type of project you had in mind. For completing this beach glass project you could get any wide (1-2"() soft bristle brush from the dollar store. Because there isn't a lot of surface area you don't need a large brush and soft bristles (rather than stiff ones) will help give you a smoother finish.
I'm so bummed I followed directions exactly. Hummm mine turned out nothing like yours. I'm so confused 😕. Your so talented so maybe it's just my luck,I'm crafty but this didn't go my way.
Hmmm…. There are no hidden secrets to these… they should have been pretty straight forward…. No need even to be crafty…. What went wrong?
Are they scratch resistant?
they are pretty hardy... though i wouldn't take a diamond ring to them!!
Is this washable.
No soaking... wipe with a damp towel is okay. (definitely no dishwasher!)
What is a “tinch”?
Ahh…. It means a small portion, or a little bit. It can also mean a tenth of an inch but that wasn’t what I meant…. I wasn’t being that precise!
Hello
Thanks for checking out the video June, hope you enjoyed it!
