  • A fun little technique to give glass bottles a beach glass look. Don’t stop there though, it works equally well with old glass jars that you can use as votives, colourful storage jars...
Mod Podge is available here... amzn.to/3ugOZg5
    And acrylics here.... amzn.to/34142Q6

thanks Brenda - they did turn out nice - I think I now need to do some jars for votives for the back yard... they'll look so pretty with some light shining through!

These are very pretty! I've never mixed Modge podge with acrylic paint. Does it make the paint thicker, like a chalk paint consistency?

The acrylics I used were in a tube and were very thick. The Modge Podge actually thinned them down a little.

Hmmm… I haven’t tried that with this technique but it would give an interesting texture!

Great video! Thank you! I'm a beginner. What type of paint brushes do I need to paint on wood, canvas, and glass?

Carrie... it would really depend on the type of project you had in mind. For completing this beach glass project you could get any wide (1-2"() soft bristle brush from the dollar store. Because there isn't a lot of surface area you don't need a large brush and soft bristles (rather than stiff ones) will help give you a smoother finish.

Hmmm…. There are no hidden secrets to these… they should have been pretty straight forward…. No need even to be crafty…. What went wrong?

No soaking... wipe with a damp towel is okay. (definitely no dishwasher!)

    What is a “tinch”?

Ahh…. It means a small portion, or a little bit. It can also mean a tenth of an inch but that wasn’t what I meant…. I wasn’t being that precise!
