Was the same when I got the TS, played one game - instantly broke my own personal bests because it was an indestructible monster that the enemy couldn't bounce, couldn't bring myself to play it again because it was so cheap and P2Win.
just madness this thing is equal tier then something like a Panther II or CS 53, oneshotting most of T6 vehicles and even some T7s, evrytime this vehicle is in your battle 29 Players get a bad experience

2 tanks I can think of that have similar scary damage are the Kv-2 and the FV4005 II, but they both have the same weakness, a massive turret with poor armour. The BZ-176 packs the punch of the FV as you say, AND it's a hulldown monster. Sure it has that weakspot on the gun cover, but it's nothing like the massive turrets of the other two.
not to mention its ouragues frontal armor. Even the lower and mid plate ive bounced countless times with 330/340 tier 10 HEAT rounds...other tanks sacrifice EVERYTHING to have such alpha, like fv4005, isu152, Kv2...this tank has it all. It could literally be a tier 10 and noone would complain
I seem to frequently miss that turret weak spot quickly hidden due in my aim time. In most cases I won't have any usable angle on it. Then I get those massive alpha shots traded. Apparently I'm not the only one. I would pay 200 to 250 bucks hands down for that tank. Simply recover that by the insane profitablity. In case I hadn't taken a break in that year from WoT I would own it. Wargaming did an amazing great job to rebalance WoT - maps, tanks and everything. This single massive virtual tank design glitch wasted tremendous effort of entire dev teams. So no one gives them any praise for their hard work. The Bz idea is utterly self-defeating and rips apart anything in WG quality control department. At best WG would invite some volunteer players into a council on game balance to speak for the community. I understand the may be a need for quick money at times. Hoever, this was planned well ahead for Xmas. The surprise did take precedence over sanity once again. Such council may be bound by terms of secrecy as they do like. In the long term the narcisstic psychopath stats inflaters always winning will run the entire game and render the whole X-million dollar biz unplayable. Stats resets are almost unmagenable. in case you cloned out some WoT classic before EBR updatemost players would opt for it, provided it had similar quality of life and maps improvements ets. EBR straight out ruined Frontline mode experience for everyone. Since then we saw one after another tank trying to keep players engage frustrated by the faster EBR game. WG design department fell into creating insane copium tanks on a coveyor belt. The real issue with the tank is unequal access. a 15 Bz-176 vs 15 Bz-176 in the queue would be a perfectl balances high skill contest. it would totally end all balancing discussion. People would play their Clan Wars in Tier 10 battles in BZ.176 ignoring thos 2 tiers. That thing is competitive against Tier 10s - at least like the better tier 9s with Tier 10 turrets and gun.
To be fair kv 2 doesn’t even have that bad of a turret, it can certainly bounce tier6/7 tanks from time to time. Although fv definitely has an abhorrent turret
I hate these things so much! Especially when you're playing a medium. You race to your starting position only to find one of these monstrosities already there hull down and ready to make 3/4 of your hit points disappear. Or if, by some miracle you get there first, they can just charge across the remaining distance while daring you to try and hit that narrow strip on the lowest plate or get the angle on the top of their turret. 'Cause even gold rounds aren't reliably going through anyplace else.
I remember old WOT.. Its painful to think that we'll never have to that back. It wasn't perfect but it was enjoyable! Now days WOT is almost all about premium vehicles and stuff!
Honestly the wot nowadays has many improvements over old wot it would be unfair to say that old wot was simply better. But i have to agree that wot nowadays isnt as enjoyable as before. Powercreep, questionable tank design (forcing players to use gold to have any fun cuz of too strong armor/lack of weakspots of most new tanks), boring hulldown meta... It seems to happen in many games that are out for more than 5-10 years like league of legends, dota or even war thunder.
@@tungdapzai A game can be made profitable without having pay to win aspect to it. You can go for different skins, model enhancements etc. Other games have successfully done it and WOT can too.

We have to look at game as a single entity and not as fragments of improvements implemented by designers. As I said earlier, old game version was not perfect in overall sense but game was enjoyable. Players didn't outraged as much they do these days.
Man it’s sad to see. Unfortunately I feel like this will continue cuz players continue to buy these tanks, which enables war gaming to continue to sell tanks like these.
The thing I hate most about this tank is the armor being too good. When tanks like the Skoda t56 and bourrasque dump there mags into me, at least I have a chance to pen them back, but with the Bz-176, I find myself always bouncing or missing the tiny lower plate it has.
Škoda T56's turret is unpenable. You can't pen it, and since that's the case, most Škoda's go hull down. Renegade has too high alpha damage, Škoda has too high alpha and turret armor, BZ-176 has too high alpha, too high overall armor, and rocket boosters turn it into a battering ram. Bourrasque is such a nuisance and is OP in terms of gun alpha damage, mobility and view range/camo. Dishonorable mention: Iron Arnie is awfully annoying with spaced armor. Bunch of OP tanks. If I was a dev, I'd either nerf the hell out of these tanks, remove them entirely and compensate players, or buff every other non OP tank in the game.
@@-saklo-2256 Maybe, but it's gun should at least be nerfed in terms of alpha damage, or reload time on it could be increased. In my experience, Škoda T56 is much harder to deal with than one might think. You need two tanks to outflank it and kill it, as one on one approach nearly always results in a failure. Tank is OP, and that deserves a notice.
The lower plate isn't nearly as good and you can overmatch the gun housing roof with bigger calibers... but yes. And it's more mobile when it has the rockets going.
Not sure how it works in the UK, but here in the EU it goes like this: if they change it (nerf or move up a tier) they will have to refund players all the (millions) of EUR they had spent to get this tank. As an example, if one has known that he/she would have gotten in max. 100 boxes and he/she indeed got it in box No100 - such person would be entitled to getting the full refund for all those boxes. The only valid option for WG is not to sell it again in predictable future, like they once did with Type 59 and like they are doing with premium EBR 75 right now.
I'm sure there is a clause somewhere in the ToS that lets Wargaming do whatever they want to the tank. It's their property, you just bought the rights to use it.

well legally by "buying" a premium tank you just get the right to use the property of WG, so no legal basis for refunds actually. the super pershing situation and its refunds were mere appeasement to WG's costumers
Honestly, the premium rounds being HE should have less penetration than the standard AP rounds, especially with 800 dmg. It would be a good way to balance the tank.
They could stealth nerf this thing by giving it the equivalent opposite of pref matchmaking. Only seeing t8 or above. I think it would be less popular and be easier to deal with. If I'm higher tier than one I make it my mission to make their game quick and miserable 🎉
but that doesnt make it worse. Actually, reverse pref. mm would be good for bz, because when you shoot at tier 6 and 7 tanks, they usually doesnt even have as much health as your alpha damage...
It is hard for Tier 9s and Tier 10s to deal with it. It is like a better Tier 9 tank with Tier 10 gun & turret unlocked. Just give it to everyone and put it on permant sale. 15 Bz-176 vs 15 Bz-176 are perfectly balanced. WG wouldn't lose money but get enough fast. Like everyone has a Progetto 46 by now.
I know some tech tree tanks have it so that they see higher tier matches than other tanks of equivalent tier (ex vk 30.06m), so doing the same for the BS 176 would be fantastic.
This same thing happened YEARS ago when WG released the type 59 before the Chinese tech tree went into the game. Everyone had them and at their release, they were almost invincible. They destroyed MM for a while until WG finally nerfed the hell out of it.

It is the definition of oppressive. Whenever there is a bz on enemy team playing t6-8 mm it is basically like playing hide and seek. Because if you come across it, you will lose.
I do agree this tank is very OP. However, let's be fair, the enemies in this replay played like massive idiots. They would have died to a more balanced tank as well with the way they played.
well not really the armor of bz176 just made it this way that he managed to win the game. Any other premium tank in this game would be 2 times dead or would be able to cause this amount of dmg... He literally two shots the 50Tp prototype. Show me other premium tank that can do it with 176hp left ....
Now imagine that instead of BZ-176, the highlighted player in the video used the M4A1 rev or AMX CDC. If the player still managed to stay alive and deal damage like this, then that's a great one. Otherwise, from the spectator pov, it was a boring game

Doesn't matter if the enemy is smart enough to turn around, to avoid the chokehold in the valley or not, the result would still be the same if the player did not use a BS tank like this one. Don't believe me? make the ground resistance worse, triple the reload time and remove the BS jetpack. The enemy would have a bigger chance of winning if RNG allow them, even with those questionable move by enemy Tigers
If this tank ever receives a nerf then other broken premium tanks like the Bourrasque, EVEN-90 and Skoda T56 should receive it too but I highly doubt the community won't demand for refunds like with the Type 59/SuperPershing episode. I suspect this tank will return for Christmas in the lootboxes and that's sad.
Problem is the skoda and bz can both remove a huge amount of health very quickly . The amx has a giant clip but if the skoda clips him then the bz can just 1 shot the amx and then its 1v2 for the Is3

Overall mobility is better and it doesnt have a durp gun. Which means it can hit more often and has higher pen so its better against t9+ higher
They HAVE to nerf the BZ-176, its way to OP.. Also, thank you so much QuickyBaby for making this video and calling out the bz-176 problem in the name of the wot community! I really hope wargaming will see this and finally nerf this tank as it should be
True they haven't sold the tank by itself but by putting it in loot boxes .... I don't see WG nerfing it when it has so much hype as being OP. They would rather cut off their nose to spite their faces. Greed is too powerful at WG HQ.
Since we have tier 9 premiums now, WG may want to consider shifting the BZ-176 up a tier. I would be happy to see it moved up to tier 9 as it is or with a small HP increase.
That exactly what I was thinking. Horrible when you see this matched up with tier 6 and 7s who can do nothing to it. And I've seen where two show up on one team and none on the other. There's no "just play better" with that situation.
That's *exactly* the nerf that I think the BZ should get. Give it something like 250-300 extra HP and buff the standard pen, and it'd be more than fine at Tier 9. But I'd still nerf the gold HE pen after that to make it less toxic.
I think adding a new mode "tech tree only" would be a nice addition to let people play the game without all the OP premiums. Even a "NO GOLD TECH TREE ONLY" mode would be wonderful. It would certainly have me back playing alot more with it being balanced.
No gold tech tree? Hell no 😂 Just think about E3, Maus, the buffed VK and more if gold isn't available anymore. It would destroy the game and just shift the meta tanks
You have to understand thst if you aren't in their category of a payer, you're just there to be cannon fodder for their customers. This is a pay to win game, so you have to lose this mentality that they care about you if you spend less than 500 USD per year. You are fodder for the payers. Your opinions do not matter to them, heck the payers opinion doesn't even matter. All they care about is the payers cash flow. They care to optimize how much the payer pays, and that is quite literally the only metric they care about because players like you, constantly hoping for improvement and giving them the benefit of the doubt where there is no doubt left, prove to them that they have no leash at all, and that you will always stay to be fodder. The payers also show they are happy to pay for advantages as long as they can keep up their delusions that the game is fair and that their credit cards aren't a significant part of what makes them "skilled". Before I get the usual knee-jerk comment, before I stopped playing this game, my recents were super purple. I understood the mechanics of this game better than most. If 1000 players were in a room, I would most likely be the best player there. That is not to brag, I find it no brag at all, as I too was a payer. Instead, I only note this to preempt the usual attempts to discredit the message by people who would prefer remaining in denial by cheaply dismissing honest critics of a game they like to play and love to remain in denial with when talking about its balance.
I remember the good old days when premium tanks were equal or slightly worse than their tech tree counterparts. This tank should have 5 degrees of gun depression, less armor and/or be slower.

I haven’t played the last couple years and for some reason I got the urge to come back, and it’s unbelievable. I feel like all the new t8 premiums are literally just tier 9s with a few less hp. T8 is hardly playable but I feel like t6 and t7 are completely unplayable, those used to be my escape tiers to relax but now they’re even worse than 8, 9, 10
Roll out in your tier 6 prem tank to blow of some steam only to get yeeted into the shadow realm by the BZ...good luck fighting back if you survive the first shell
If WG can't/won't nerf the thing, they can at least do the thing they do with wheeled vehicles where in the MM, it's matched up against another BZ-176 on the enemy team.
The Forest Spirit in the first game..... wow... players like this made me stop playing, because i myself play too bad (50-51%) to carry them, so they drag me down with them. He sat in a useless corner for the whole game, did 0 dmg, then drowned himself bc "the round was lost", instead of even trying to help + denying the enemy team the dmg.... i hate them...
i have that tank and don't play it a whole lot. but its nice to have when so many people are playing chieftons and 279e's and other OP clan wars tanks. its nice to have one of the OP tanks as a regular guy
I played that AMX Cda 105 and if I hadn't rolled over in that fight I would have killed the BZ -176 for sure and the second shell that pierced it was from my tank hunter..However they gave me players who stared to die in that fight ..
It's a tier 10 tank as a tier 8 premium. I fully expect this tank to come back in Christmas boxes because it's too easy for them to make money that way. No integrity, just P2W.

I have this tank and when I play it I see nines and tens a lot more than anything else plus half the times the shells do not penetrate and they low roll more often than not of course that's if they hit the target because the accuracy of this tank is so poor against this tank you never let it reload and after it's fired you all rush and kill very easy to take out
The simplest solution is to move BZ-176 to Tier X. It already has stats that enable it to challenge them, just throw some extra HP to fit the rest and it's done. Cuz the worst thing this tank does, is 1shot T6's.
I'm on NA with a 48% win rate (trending up) and I am at 52% win rate in the BZ 176. I don't play it as much because I can't afford using all the gold. I got better at it by seeing what other players were doing with their equipment. I really enjoy the t7. It's fantastic.
I really love how if they literally just nerf the BZ 176 than tier 6-8 will literally be so much more enjoyable while also fixing matchmaking and saving games, as it is right now everytime i see one im just genuinely hopeless unless im in a confident team that actually knows how to use teamwork, but thats rare
They aren't that strong anymore. Defender can't hit a barn, has bad gun depression and top turret weak point. And the Chrysler's gun is underwhelming. There are better options around.
Ngl I hate the idea of not selling an op tank ever again cause now the people that already have it now just have an exclusive super strong tank that no one else can ever get
I think it's very telling WG realized they screwed up with this thing when they removed all of the big guns from the tech tree line before the common test release.
I remember the old time that WoT put Type 59 on sale and then took away and never put on sale anymore. Until maybe to year 2020-2021, they finally put Type 59 on sale in shop. So it will be the same with BZ-176 and T-832 sale on shop with some change of nerf and buff of these 2 tanks.
BZ-176 should just be move up a teir to teir 9 along we some other teir 8 powerful premiums like Iron Arnie. It would be better as they make more ingame profits and WG is could gain a bit more cash without touching the stats
I do agree. Russian 703 II, which is a great tank, imo, has difficulties fighting BZ. Slow vs BZ, slow reload time, and low penetration. And tech tree T8 BZ is awful.. :D
the more you think about it, the more you realize that WoT is destined to go down this road in terms of monetization, because there's simply no other way. many (myself included) in the past have suggested that instead of selling obnoxious premium tanks, they can just follow games like League of Legends' footsteps and create obnoxious skins and sell those for money. but then what's the point of spending your hard earned money on stuff that you can get for free using mods? what will they do then? ban all skin mods? that will just simply not work, or won't work effectively at least. blanket ban all mods is even a worse idea. the moment they decided to sell their first ever premium tank, WG have committed themselves to this path. and there's simply no turning back now, even if the tanks are sold one time in the lootboxes: one, is that you can't possibly tell one's intention of buying a lootbox. sure, most people buy it because it is a sweet deal to get in game resources - several purchases in Christmas and you're all set on gold, credits, premium days for the rest of the year. but there are people out there who just want THAT specific tank and they simply just don't care about the boxes being a deal for premium days, gold etc.... two, even assuming everyone who bought the boxes totally did not have the mentality of buying 60 billion boxes just to get that latest and greatest premium tank (like what quickybaby is presuming here), money was spent either way, so whatever the intentions were are all irrelevant. to WG at least. because last time WG nerfed something people spent real money on, a few of those people went ahead and filed a lawsuit against them, so nerfing a premium tank is not an option, ever. and don't come at me with the "but it would be an honor if my favorite premium tank got hit with a nerf" bs, because maybe it's cool with you, with the quickybaby/skill4ltu/dakillzor comment section, but it isn't with the majority of the playerbase - the demograph that WG, or any business of that matter, catered to. besides, most of yall here kept on "preaching" about how the lootboxes are gambling - which is bad and blaw blaw blaw, but then the moment these lootboxes hit the market yall be smashing your credit cards to the table and yelling "i'll take 500 of those, thank you very much!". so i doubt the "premium nerfers" actually stand behind what they say, because they might be the biggest hypocrites in the end, just you wait ;)
The powercreep that has completely ruined this game over the last 4-5 years has been truly shocking, to say the least. It all started with the Skorpion G and it's only gotten worse ever since. The premium tank problem has gotten bad on Console as well with EVERY new Season Pass now having at least one tier 8 premium and one tier 10 premium that are ludicrously easy to obtain and you only have to pay 6,000 gold to get the full season pass and the premiums for free ... for a dying game, that is just only going to further the worsening of the playerbase.
To be honest whilst this showed some of its attributes, really helped by the muppets lining up to be disposed of. Still you can only play what is in front of you.
I’ve made a point of not using the HE shells on this and it is honestly painful. Without the gold shells my win rate in the BZ176 is 36%. They really just need to nerf the gold.
You know its bad when a tank has nearly 55% wr. The worst thing is, its never gonna get actually nerfed. It might get worse gun handling or a longer reload one day but that doesnt fucking matter when the tank is impenetrable by the majority of even equal tier tanks. I still cant believe that the HE shells on this tank have more pen than the regular AP. The biggest non-armor nerf could be to just half the HE pen. The tank has no weakness otherwise.
A long time ago type 59 was the same. WG did not sell it for 10+ years, and when it finally returned to WG shop it was just "meh" tank, and nothing more, so probably the right move here is the same.
Please stop asking for nerfs to premium tanks. If you pay for X you should never get X-1. It's that simple. I have the BZ but play it rarely. I also have other OP tanks in WOT and OP ships in WOWS. How can I trust a company which sells me anything, even in a gambling loot box, only to nerf it after I pay?
I'm one of those players who got the BZ-176 in loot boxes; a handful gifted to me by two friends (got the non-rental Projekt 283 as well). I'm pretty terrible in the BZ-176; apparently I'm not very good at playing heavies.
I'm old enough to remember the times when premium tanks aimed to be slightly worse than their fully upgraded tech tree equivalents. 😞
Only one I would say was better than the tech tree tank is the Lowe.

KV-2 can't pen frontally almost every tanks it can face with HE.

Honestly the wot nowadays has many improvements over old wot it would be unfair to say that old wot was simply better. But i have to agree that wot nowadays isnt as enjoyable as before. Powercreep, questionable tank design (forcing players to use gold to have any fun cuz of too strong armor/lack of weakspots of most new tanks), boring hulldown meta... It seems to happen in many games that are out for more than 5-10 years like league of legends, dota or even war thunder.
@@tungdapzai A game can be made profitable without having pay to win aspect to it. You can go for different skins, model enhancements etc. Other games have successfully done it and WOT can too.

We have to look at game as a single entity and not as fragments of improvements implemented by designers. As I said earlier, old game version was not perfect in overall sense but game was enjoyable. Players didn't outraged as much they do these days.

I saw players spam "Nerf BZ-176" on every community post on Wargaming WoT channel
The thing I hate most about this tank is the armor being too good. When tanks like the Skoda t56 and bourrasque dump there mags into me, at least I have a chance to pen them back, but with the Bz-176, I find myself always bouncing or missing the tiny lower plate it has.

Škoda T56's turret is unpenable. You can't pen it, and since that's the case, most Škoda's go hull down. Renegade has too high alpha damage, Škoda has too high alpha and turret armor, BZ-176 has too high alpha, too high overall armor, and rocket boosters turn it into a battering ram. Bourrasque is such a nuisance and is OP in terms of gun alpha damage, mobility and view range/camo.
Dishonorable mention: Iron Arnie is awfully annoying with spaced armor.
Bunch of OP tanks. If I was a dev, I'd either nerf the hell out of these tanks, remove them entirely and compensate players, or buff every other non OP tank in the game.

In my experience, Škoda T56 is much harder to deal with than one might think. You need two tanks to outflank it and kill it, as one on one approach nearly always results in a failure. Tank is OP, and that deserves a notice.

The lower plate isn't nearly as good and you can overmatch the gun housing roof with bigger calibers... but yes. And it's more mobile when it has the rockets going.

Not sure how it works in the UK, but here in the EU it goes like this: if they change it (nerf or move up a tier) they will have to refund players all the (millions) of EUR they had spent to get this tank. As an example, if one has known that he/she would have gotten in max. 100 boxes and he/she indeed got it in box No100 - such person would be entitled to getting the full refund for all those boxes. The only valid option for WG is not to sell it again in predictable future, like they once did with Type 59 and like they are doing with premium EBR 75 right now.

Honestly, the premium rounds being HE should have less penetration than the standard AP rounds, especially with 800 dmg. It would be a good way to balance the tank.

They could stealth nerf this thing by giving it the equivalent opposite of pref matchmaking. Only seeing t8 or above. I think it would be less popular and be easier to deal with. If I'm higher tier than one I make it my mission to make their game quick and miserable 🎉
All they have to do is nerf the roof armor by 1-2mm and it would be hugely impacted

It is hard for Tier 9s and Tier 10s to deal with it. It is like a better Tier 9 tank with Tier 10 gun & turret unlocked.
Just give it to everyone and put it on permant sale.

I know some tech tree tanks have it so that they see higher tier matches than other tanks of equivalent tier (ex vk 30.06m), so doing the same for the BS 176 would be fantastic.
This same thing happened YEARS ago when WG released the type 59 before the Chinese tech tree went into the game. Everyone had them and at their release, they were almost invincible. They destroyed MM for a while until WG finally nerfed the hell out of it.

It is the definition of oppressive. Whenever there is a bz on enemy team playing t6-8 mm it is basically like playing hide and seek. Because if you come across it, you will lose.

However, let's be fair, the enemies in this replay played like massive idiots. They would have died to a more balanced tank as well with the way they played.
well not really the armor of bz176 just made it this way that he managed to win the game. Any other premium tank in this game would be 2 times dead or would be able to cause this amount of dmg... He literally two shots the 50Tp prototype. Show me other premium tank that can do it with 176hp left ....
Now imagine that instead of BZ-176, the highlighted player in the video used the M4A1 rev or AMX CDC.
If the player still managed to stay alive and deal damage like this, then that's a great one.

Doesn't matter if the enemy is smart enough to turn around, to avoid the chokehold in the valley or not, the result would still be the same if the player did not use a BS tank like this one.
Don't believe me? make the ground resistance worse, triple the reload time and remove the BS jetpack.

If this tank ever receives a nerf then other broken premium tanks like the Bourrasque, EVEN-90 and Skoda T56 should receive it too but I highly doubt the community won't demand for refunds like with the Type 59/SuperPershing episode. I suspect this tank will return for Christmas in the lootboxes and that's sad.

Problem is the skoda and bz can both remove a huge amount of health very quickly . The amx has a giant clip but if the skoda clips him then the bz can just 1 shot the amx and then its 1v2 for the Is3

Overall mobility is better and it doesnt have a durp gun. Which means it can hit more often and has higher pen so its better against t9+ higher

True they haven't sold the tank by itself but by putting it in loot boxes .... I don't see WG nerfing it when it has so much hype as being OP. They would rather cut off their nose to spite their faces. Greed is too powerful at WG HQ.
Since we have tier 9 premiums now, WG may want to consider shifting the BZ-176 up a tier. I would be happy to see it moved up to tier 9 as it is or with a small HP increase.

That exactly what I was thinking. Horrible when you see this matched up with tier 6 and 7s who can do nothing to it. And I've seen where two show up on one team and none on the other. There's no "just play better" with that situation.
That's *exactly* the nerf that I think the BZ should get. Give it something like 250-300 extra HP and buff the standard pen, and it'd be more than fine at Tier 9. But I'd still nerf the gold HE pen after that to make it less toxic.

I think adding a new mode "tech tree only" would be a nice addition to let people play the game without all the OP premiums. Even a "NO GOLD TECH TREE ONLY" mode would be wonderful. It would certainly have me back playing alot more with it being balanced.

You have to understand thst if you aren't in their category of a payer, you're just there to be cannon fodder for their customers.
This is a pay to win game, so you have to lose this mentality that they care about you if you spend less than 500 USD per year.
You are fodder for the payers. Your opinions do not matter to them, heck the payers opinion doesn't even matter.
All they care about is the payers cash flow. They care to optimize how much the payer pays, and that is quite literally the only metric they care about because players like you, constantly hoping for improvement and giving them the benefit of the doubt where there is no doubt left, prove to them that they have no leash at all, and that you will always stay to be fodder.
The payers also show they are happy to pay for advantages as long as they can keep up their delusions that the game is fair and that their credit cards aren't a significant part of what makes them "skilled".
Before I get the usual knee-jerk comment, before I stopped playing this game, my recents were super purple. I understood the mechanics of this game better than most. If 1000 players were in a room, I would most likely be the best player there.
That is not to brag, I find it no brag at all, as I too was a payer.
Instead, I only note this to preempt the usual attempts to discredit the message by people who would prefer remaining in denial by cheaply dismissing honest critics of a game they like to play and love to remain in denial with when talking about its balance.

I haven’t played the last couple years and for some reason I got the urge to come back, and it’s unbelievable. I feel like all the new t8 premiums are literally just tier 9s with a few less hp. T8 is hardly playable but I feel like t6 and t7 are completely unplayable, those used to be my escape tiers to relax but now they’re even worse than 8, 9, 10
Roll out in your tier 6 prem tank to blow of some steam only to get yeeted into the shadow realm by the BZ...good luck fighting back if you survive the first shell

If WG can't/won't nerf the thing, they can at least do the thing they do with wheeled vehicles where in the MM, it's matched up against another BZ-176 on the enemy team.
The Forest Spirit in the first game..... wow... players like this made me stop playing, because i myself play too bad (50-51%) to carry them, so they drag me down with them.
He sat in a useless corner for the whole game, did 0 dmg, then drowned himself bc "the round was lost", instead of even trying to help + denying the enemy team the dmg.... i hate them...
i have that tank and don't play it a whole lot. but its nice to have when so many people are playing chieftons and 279e's and other OP clan wars tanks. its nice to have one of the OP tanks as a regular guy
I played that AMX Cda 105 and if I hadn't rolled over in that fight I would have killed the BZ -176 for sure and the second shell that pierced it was from my tank hunter..However they gave me players who stared to die in that fight ..

It's a tier 10 tank as a tier 8 premium. I fully expect this tank to come back in Christmas boxes because it's too easy for them to make money that way. No integrity, just P2W.

The enemy team were a bunch of muppets. They all drove by him ignoring him and fed themselves to the tank. These tanks are not all that.

Bullshit, the gun handling is pretty atrocious, and you can miss plenty of fully aimed shots
I have this tank and when I play it I see nines and tens a lot more than anything else plus half the times the shells do not penetrate and they low roll more often than not of course that's if they hit the target because the accuracy of this tank is so poor against this tank you never let it reload and after it's fired you all rush and kill very easy to take out
The simplest solution is to move BZ-176 to Tier X. It already has stats that enable it to challenge them, just throw some extra HP to fit the rest and it's done.
Cuz the worst thing this tank does, is 1shot T6's.
I'm on NA with a 48% win rate (trending up) and I am at 52% win rate in the BZ 176. I don't play it as much because I can't afford using all the gold. I got better at it by seeing what other players were doing with their equipment.
I really enjoy the t7. It's fantastic.
Fully upgraded,100% crews many skills with BiA,bond/special equipments,directives and food. I got 0.35m dispersion for freaking 160mm gun..DAMNN

I really love how if they literally just nerf the BZ 176 than tier 6-8 will literally be so much more enjoyable while also fixing matchmaking and saving games, as it is right now everytime i see one im just genuinely hopeless unless im in a confident team that actually knows how to use teamwork, but thats rare

Powercreep is biggest problem in World of Tanks right now.
They aren't that strong anymore. Defender can't hit a barn, has bad gun depression and top turret weak point. And the Chrysler's gun is underwhelming. There are better options around.

I think it's very telling WG realized they screwed up with this thing when they removed all of the big guns from the tech tree line before the common test release.
I remember the old time that WoT put Type 59 on sale and then took away and never put on sale anymore. Until maybe to year 2020-2021, they finally put Type 59 on sale in shop. So it will be the same with BZ-176 and T-832 sale on shop with some change of nerf and buff of these 2 tanks.
BZ-176 should just be move up a teir to teir 9
along we some other teir 8 powerful premiums like Iron Arnie.

I do agree. Russian 703 II, which is a great tank, imo, has difficulties fighting BZ. Slow vs BZ, slow reload time, and low penetration.

the more you think about it, the more you realize that WoT is destined to go down this road in terms of monetization, because there's simply no other way.
many (myself included) in the past have suggested that instead of selling obnoxious premium tanks, they can just follow games like League of Legends' footsteps and create obnoxious skins and sell those for money. but then what's the point of spending your hard earned money on stuff that you can get for free using mods? what will they do then? ban all skin mods? that will just simply not work, or won't work effectively at least. blanket ban all mods is even a worse idea.
the moment they decided to sell their first ever premium tank, WG have committed themselves to this path. and there's simply no turning back now, even if the tanks are sold one time in the lootboxes:
one, is that you can't possibly tell one's intention of buying a lootbox. sure, most people buy it because it is a sweet deal to get in game resources - several purchases in Christmas and you're all set on gold, credits, premium days for the rest of the year. but there are people out there who just want THAT specific tank and they simply just don't care about the boxes being a deal for premium days, gold etc....
two, even assuming everyone who bought the boxes totally did not have the mentality of buying 60 billion boxes just to get that latest and greatest premium tank (like what quickybaby is presuming here), money was spent either way, so whatever the intentions were are all irrelevant. to WG at least. because last time WG nerfed something people spent real money on, a few of those people went ahead and filed a lawsuit against them, so nerfing a premium tank is not an option, ever.
and don't come at me with the "but it would be an honor if my favorite premium tank got hit with a nerf" bs, because maybe it's cool with you, with the quickybaby/skill4ltu/dakillzor comment section, but it isn't with the majority of the playerbase - the demograph that WG, or any business of that matter, catered to. besides, most of yall here kept on "preaching" about how the lootboxes are gambling - which is bad and blaw blaw blaw, but then the moment these lootboxes hit the market yall be smashing your credit cards to the table and yelling "i'll take 500 of those, thank you very much!". so i doubt the "premium nerfers" actually stand behind what they say, because they might be the biggest hypocrites in the end, just you wait ;)
The powercreep that has completely ruined this game over the last 4-5 years has been truly shocking, to say the least. It all started with the Skorpion G and it's only gotten worse ever since. The premium tank problem has gotten bad on Console as well with EVERY new Season Pass now having at least one tier 8 premium and one tier 10 premium that are ludicrously easy to obtain and you only have to pay 6,000 gold to get the full season pass and the premiums for free ... for a dying game, that is just only going to further the worsening of the playerbase.
To be honest whilst this showed some of its attributes, really helped by the muppets lining up to be disposed of. Still you can only play what is in front of you.
Don’t nerf the BZ, just make every other tank it can meet better :)

This tank is one of the big reasons when I started playing some again recently that I decided to not give WG a dime and just play lower tiers.

I’ve made a point of not using the HE shells on this and it is honestly painful. Without the gold shells my win rate in the BZ176 is 36%. They really just need to nerf the gold.

I still cant believe that the HE shells on this tank have more pen than the regular AP. The biggest non-armor nerf could be to just half the HE pen. The tank has no weakness otherwise.
The main problem with the game is premium ammo.

A long time ago type 59 was the same. WG did not sell it for 10+ years, and when it finally returned to WG shop it was just "meh" tank, and nothing more, so probably the right move here is the same.

I have the BZ but play it rarely. I also have other OP tanks in WOT and OP ships in WOWS. How can I trust a company which sells me anything, even in a gambling loot box, only to nerf it after I pay?
I'm one of those players who got the BZ-176 in loot boxes; a handful gifted to me by two friends (got the non-rental Projekt 283 as well). I'm pretty terrible in the BZ-176; apparently I'm not very good at playing heavies.
I'm at a point I dont even play in my tier 6, 7, 8 or even 9 tanks when there is a BZ176 in the game.
This tank is like the old version of the kv1s. Most of the time I’ll go the opposite way of the bz176 so I don’t have to face it
