That depends on a tank and on a map. On the open map the player who is able to use the distance and vegetation is absolutely able to make a final stand. Much less on a town/corridor map. Also the fact that he was in tier10 LT against tier 8 tanks helped greatly. LT10 are quite a lot more powerful than tier8 tanks, pretty much all of them.
back in the day you could witness a full HP T110E4 being wiped out of the map in one shot by arty, that was painful to see, especially when being on the receiving end 😆
I've been in a borsig and taken a thousand from artillery blind, and I wasn't in or even close behind the bush I was shooting through. Some skilled guesser or just random clicker haha.

Agree Manti is better pure scout, but T100 is good enough at view range and camo to compete with it. Then you consider the speed, DPM, gun handling, and some armor T100 is just better on most maps.
I rushed the middle on Abbey in my T-100-Lt then DINGDING bounced 2 shells on the turret..From a Grille and a Jg.Pz E100 :O I ran back knowing all my luck for that battle was used up xD
I have done 14k combined the other day in this tank and the game ended in draw because my team mates didn't want to lose their HP in the end of the game to save repair costs.
Its great on the rare occasion you get team mates who are at least 50% players. They know how to support the lights at least. It always makes me smile when teams don't support their lights and expect them to teleport enemies in front of where they are aiming. Conversely, some light players have absolutely no idea what to do. None at all!
I've had so many games in LTs where I literally spot half of the opposing team, within range and nobody lands a shot for like 3 minutes straight. And if you're in a LT that isn't good at dealing damage itself you start to regret your choices quickly.
Ya that position there in mid F4 is pretty good now. The best way to defend it is in E4. The HWK 30 should have been poking him and spotting him. Live and learn....or die and learn. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Actually not very impressive. All he did is basic spotting in a typical bush, then kill all remaining clueless pigeons. The T-100 LT has more than enough tools to do this on one of the most ideal maps for LTs, Fisherman's Bay. This is one of the easiest 1v5 I've ever seen. I personally won a 1v6 in this map in my Bourrasque, which was arguably way harder to win than this battle, simply because the enemy team was not THIS clueless. The map itself is not only very open and full of bushes, it also has a lot covers that protect you when you get spotted. This player surely carried his team, but a battle like this has nothing special that needs to be featured, not very impressive gameplay, not even some dramas to get yourself some good giggles.
I was under the impression that if APCR are your regular rounds they didn't lose penetration quicker than AP over distance, it was only premium APCR that did.
All rounds except HEAT lose a small percentage of penetration over distance. Light tanks lose much more. It doesn’t matter if it’s regular or gold rounds.
All tier x lights suffer from increased penetration drop off over distance. You can see it on tanks gg. On paper the penetration increases from tier ix to tier x but it actually doesn’t unless the tank has HEAT.
My first t10 tank. LT-100 in a +2 MM is the most dangerous t10 LT. I never feel I'm the underdog in this tank. Sure it's not the best thing in some situations, but it has plenty of utility to make yourself useful. It can do damage actually. Not massive, but still I've had quite a few games with LT-100 that would humble most MTs.
I got higher base exp games than that in my E-50M, altho some absolute wanker beat me by like 8 experience for that old contest where highest base EXP in a tank wins. Got like 1911 i think, much higher :D
He should have made it pool's medal...enemy had less than 300 hp..he can HE to track the TD to and hopefully reduce it's hp to secure a shot behind the td
A light tank, like all other tanks, is team dependent. You can spot all the enemy tanks but it relies on your allies to know how to shoot. Just because it can do better than anyone else on the team, doesn’t mean it can win by itself

That's the biggest strenght of the T-100. It's an LT that can be a pocket medium when it needs to.
