Just painted one black with Rust-oleum Plastic paint. I might make a video when I paint the other one I have. Thanks for the reply.

Trenton, what about painting them instead of the cover. It seems prudent to use the 6 mil wrap as you have. How would that compare with a few good coats of low VCO black paint. The plastic will probably have to be replaced few years down the road so I'd imagine it might be easier to do paint touchups, especially since you have those nice PVC covers for the tanks in cage.
It's preference really as long as you block the sun you are in good shape

Kansas Gardener no. it was not economical to spend more for the cover than the tank cost. black plastic is $60 for 6 tanks, and holds up much better than paint. $60 for a piece of fabric that cost 10$ to make is just crazy.
I ordered 4 covers from www.semitrailerlocks.com/ibc-tote-covers.html for $32.98 each with free shipping. I spoke with a crusty old guy who took my order and he said once he sells his stock, (he had about 8 left after my order), he's done with IBC Tote covers and never wants to see another one. Apparently, they didn't sell as well as he had hoped.
