I absolutely love this deck. Been using it since 2014. The art is very humanized. The ancient imagery is instantly recognizable to anyone using it, even a new user or onlooker not understanding the meaning. We are not all European in this world. Pretty much only use this. Since the very first pull ever, has never been wrong. I feel it touches on energy older than original tarot even does, and speaks more personally to North American heritage. A must have if you love Native American, Spanish, as well as pioneer, art and history, legends, spirit medicine, ancient cultures of any kind in general. 10 stars❤️🔥
Beautifully said💖 This deck spoke to me so much. One of my friends asked me to loan it to her, and she ended up keeping it, but this means we get to use it together whenever I see her🤍🤍🤍
I've always loved this deck and wanted to see it properly, thank you for sharing. The artwork is gorgeous and I didn't realise the LWB was sooooo informative. That's the best LWB I've seen
Cosmic Creeper's Tube Yes, this is definitely one you don’t hear too much about. I absolutely love the LWB that’s why I always encourage people to at least give it a gander😉 Thank you so much for stopping by😘❤️❤️❤️
I love this deck, but I ended up gifting it to one of my good friends a while back. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your deck. P.S., I think if you Google the author's name, the author created a separate guidebook (an actual book) that was for sale separately from the deck :o)
Hey I’m looking for the interpretation of the following cards: Warrior of shields Happy family Chief of vessels Matriarch of blades Death Polygamy Strength
The included guidebook gives some simple meanings regarding the cards, but I have been told that there is a separate guidebook that goes into much more depth about each card's meaning
I had my cards read. 13 years ago. Started with the death card and finished with the black tower in Native American cards. I need an interpretation of all cards to find out if they are truly right.
Great video! I was incredibly lucky to have been gifted this deck by our friend Chase, and I absolutely use it more for study at the moment as I am not familiar with a lot of the things depicted in the cards. It is such an interesting deck, and the LWB is amazing! Best I've ever seen.
This was a wonderful deck to work with💖 A good friend really loved this deck so I gifted it to her a few years ago. I think someone said once that a guidebook was printed separate from the deck. You may want to check Amazon and see if it’s still for sale. I think you so much for watching💚 Much love and I hope you have many wonderful readings with this deck💫
I actually prefer the Vision Quest Tarot just because I seem to have more of a connection with the wording, colors, imagery, etc. Thanks for stopping by
I have this deck and I'm sure I got it in the eighties. Mine is quite dirty on the edges, but the card stock is good. I have the companion book which I like better than the cards. The card almost seem Hollywood like to me now. I haven't worked with them in a long time. You colors seem more vivid, but that may be the newer printing.
Wildfeatha I love the companion booklet!💖 I do love the vibrancy of the deck; I do not know how I’d feel about it if it were more muted. Thank you so much for watching!💜💜💜
I ended up gifting this gorgeous deck to a friend of mine a while back, but I know that the author created a separate in-depth guidebook for this deck. You might still be able to find it on eBay or Amazon
I love this deck so much! I found mine today at my local thrift store here in Sweden. Just beautiful ♥️ Now I just have to learn to read it the right way ☀️ Love from 🇸🇪
In Irish and sometimes feel like I'm kidding myself with this deck since it's not my culture - but I love this deck and the Celtic decks are all so corny and hobbitey, wizards and all that bull. Although this deck mixes all sorts of tribes traditions together, it's still a lovely deck and the artwork has that dry Southwest feel to it that I love.
Although I have a very diverse background, I am still drawn to decks that I technically do not have any lineage to. I think if you feel drawn to a particular deck, it feels good energetically, then go for it
@@KittensWeightsandTarot yep, I got the book - " Star Spider Speaks " that goes into even more detail about this deck and Native American ways and as a footnote on the back cover she welcomes anyone of any background who connects with the deck to use it, and that helped put my mind at ease . I reciently discovered a beautifully illustrated Celtic deck that resembles the Book of Kells...all very Irish - but despite it being exactly my culture, I did'nt feel connected with it. Something about this Native American deck inspires me. The artwork alone makes me feel so happy to see...
I don't know if you believe in past lives, but my family & I do. We believe it is why people may feel at "home" in a place foreign to them, or a pull towards a particular culture different from their own. Maybe your soul has lived a life amongst the indigenous peoples of America. I feel a strong connection with HooDoo, even though I'm rather mixed, I know that I do not have African American decent. I wish you well
I'm buying this deck again - I had it years ago and miss it now. Oh, just a tiny note about the word "squaw"... I thought it was from the Algic family of languages. In Moose Cree, for example, the word "iskwew-" means "woman." I've not studied the Iroquois languages but I note the word in Mohawk for the male anatomy is "ohnohkwa," which really does not resemble "squaw."
Just saw your comment. I worked in Phoenix back in the 90's and got very interested in the Native American culture. There was a mountain called " Squaw peak " and I remember somebody telling me it was a rather nasty name for a native woman ( it referred to a part of the female anatomy ). I'm not sure how true this is but it certantly stopped me using the word.
@@paulfogarty7724 I think you're totally correct in avoiding use of this word, since it has taken on a very nasty connotation. I've just checked the origin of the word and it does come from one of the eastern Algic languages (Narragansett, squaws = woman) but for whatever horrible reason the meaning in its English usage has mutated.
Unfortunately, I no longer have this deck since I gifted it to a friend of mine. The fourth card in the Major Arcana is the Emperor, so it would make sense to have it connected to honor, valor, and integrity. I hope this helps
I had this deck years ago..I ended up swapping it for a shamans crystal. I might consider getting it again , thanks Tara 👍🌹💖 I'm just not sold on the art work
Oh no! Maybe try contacting the creator & seeing if extras were ever printed or maybe a PDF version. Also, check around on various tarot swap groups on FB to see if anyone would be willing to give there LWB away
This deck is definitely it's own unique system. There was someone in the comments who said to look for a separate book that goes with this deck. It helps you dive into Native American lore and it's connection to these cards. I do not have this book, but it's one I eventually want to look into it
@@KittensWeightsandTarot me too! I love these cards! I've never seen them before.. I've only seen the Jamie Sams Oracle ones. 😁Oh! You were I'll? I'm so sorry! 💗 It's nice to meet you! I'm Shelly from New Jersey. 🌸

I just got this deck today and I’m so happy to find an informative video with this deck!
It's indeed a wonderful deck & I am wishing you well with it
It feels very comforting, grounded, and powerful at the same time
I have this tarot deck! I bought it in the mid 90's! The box is pretty damaged but the cards are in top shape! It's a beautiful deck!
The cards really do stand up to age, weather, dirt, etc. Glad to see you are still showing your deck some love!
By chance could you post all the pages to the book? I have one from the thrift store that didnt have it! Love your video and thanks for sharing.

I believe "squaw" never started as a derogatory term, but has somehow morphed into a negative connotation.
