Hello, Yash. I am guessing that's what the whole video is about. Plus, every individual gets in with a different experience so its better for you to know the bird-eye's view instead of one particular instance.
Thank you Anvitha :) Let me share what I understand about the 2 courses and I'm sure Fazal will contribute his bit as well, MEM can be referred to as a program with courses in Marketing, Finance, Management, Operations, Modeling and available engineering electives (not just software but industrial engineering, nanotechnology etc). It typically prepares candidates for consulting or business analysis in any engineering related work function. MS in Management Information Systems degree programs (MIS) provide more focus in the field of technology management. More like MEM for IT, so focusing on IT electives such as data mining, AI, networking etc
@@iArifAhmad Thanks a lot! Clearly understood the difference! I had this doubt cz I hv completed BTech in Biomedical Engg., therefore, MEM is more applicable to my stream
Hi Arif,I have a Bachelor's Degree in CS ,Having a 2 years experience in technical profile ,I am more inclined towards management ,I want to know if it's an MIS from USA or MIM in Europe ,can you help me understand which country is better or how should I proceed my research to choose which country ??
Both of the programs you mentioned are very different. MIS and MIM are very different and have a different target audience. First decide on what you want to pursue and what you want to focus on and then you can decide on the country and school.
@@iArifAhmad Thank you bro..iam asking certification or what to learn.. to make MS course easy and to get some knowledge about the course before joining..becoz iam from non CS in UG..waiting for ur reply😊
Hi Ashrith, Fazal's CGPA is 9.11 AdCom looks at your application with a very holistic approach so there is no such thing as a 'good enough' GPA to get admits. To be on the safer side, try aiming for more than 8/8.5 depending on your college tier and aim for more than 320+ on the GRE Although, people do get admits at gpa lesser than 8 and some even get rejected with gpa above 9 so do keep in mind to build your overall profile rather than just focusing on the GPA
Very informative and engaging video! Thanks, Arif and Fazal. Keep sharing!
Thanks Sourabh

Pure mix of confidence and humility 🤓

What are the pre requisites or certifications to do, for the one who is from non-cs background(EE) to pursue MS in MIS
I will ask him and let you know but as far as I know, you don't require any certification.

@@manideep2998 Hey. Seeing your comment after almost an year. Did you apply for MIS?
bro is it a 1 year program?
Yes
By which month had you applied for the universities for early application?

What’s the cgpa ? What would be good enough gpa to crack top universities?
