  • In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

I love how his tie is deliberately askew and how he peppers his talk with humor to disarm the audience and waits for them to catch the joke. Clearly he is a force to be reckoned with outside this public speaking "persona."

    Great talking.
    I'm brazilian.
I know english a bit, not fluently.
I detected that subtitles have some errors.
    Some I understood the correct.
Some errors in subtitles were difficult for me to understand what really he says.
I challenge someone to correctly transcribe the entire speech/talk.
    Greetings From Brazil !!!
I hope somebody dare to transcript the entire talk/speech correctly.

its more about quitting those things you know somoene else can do a better job at, like when you are in a school project and some of your mates enjoy writing and you enjoy making the lay-out/index look nice and sorted. you wil split it up, not doing both things together.
