Newt doesn’t avoid Ripley, only Marine characters (so, Burke and Bishop also count as civilians, indicated by Weyland-Yutani logo next to their names).
That is true about Ripley, after playing I noticed it in editing. Not sure I would say that Burke and Bishop would be different than a marine in this respect, I think the whole point is to represent the bond Ripley and Newt had in the movie. Yes they have the WY name plaque but still seems like it shouldnt make a difference. Thanks for the comment.

Edit: not a criticism in the slightest. I dont think it's that important. Whatever works. Thanks for this playthrough. I was doing defensive fire wrong and didnt realize it. Made things far more difficult and intense. I look forward to more!

As a tutorial maybe I should have stuck to the rules a bit more rigidly but I house rule a lot of rules for games to keep them rolling {probably comes from my RPG mindset). Hello, I have a small question on the flamethrower card it says that a hit on 7 or less and a pistol hit on 3 or less Should I always move the aim dial when shooting with a flamethrower and a pistol when it is written on the card how much should I throw to hit

@37:00 Can that revealed blip attack Vasquez on the same turn that it is revealed? Ar'nt Aliens attacks only resolved in the Alien phase so it cant attack until the next Alien turn?
To be honest its been quite sometime since I played aliens. My memory on the rues are a little hazy now, but you do sound like you are correct. I try to keep my play throughs error free but never succeed! Many thanks for the viewing and comment.

You made a mistake: ua-cam.com/video/QLshN7jiTuE/v-deo.html Do you have to play a Hazard card that was revealed by a Motion Tracker card? A: No. The Hazard card is placed in the Exhaust Pile without resolving its game effect.
First of all thanks for watching the vid and leaving a comment. This was about the fourth time I played the game and a few mistakes did slip in. I was very sure you were wrong and reread the section in the book. Nope you were a 100 percent right. Because the card was revealed from the motion tracker it is only used as a randomizer. The next mission has already been recorded so I am hoping the same mistakes aren't present in that part. Many thanks and best wishes
