Your opinion. Which is better? 305 or 306? I have a small, unprepared room of 9m2. 305 and 306 have a minimal price difference. I'm at a loss which one to take. Is it true that in order to open up the 306, you need to add significantly more volume than the 305?

@@heartless693 взял 305...исходя из бюджета. Звук порадовал...но по мощности разочарован. Т.к.я в основном для поослушивания их использую мне не хватает мощности. На них регуляторы на 80% ставлю...и на входе делаю громче...хочется ещё...но защита срабатывает уже. Приходится убавлять(
Хотел сдать в магазин....да чуть по срокам в 14 дней не успел(

Can you do test with the hardest song that i found and record it to UA-cam? It doesn't have to be professional microphone. Also can you write that did your heard low bass at 3:30 or later sections? Thanks a lot from now.

for trap beats, which as you know the lows are very important, which one you recommend?
both wont cut it for lows, you would have to get the LSR310 subwoofer

jbl 306 mkii is better you get more space field in frequencies
it has one of the lowest crossover hz in the tweeters ive ever seen.... just upgraded to the 6p from the 5ps. 5s and 8s are 1800hz (2000being recommended) 5s are 1750hz. For some reason the 6ps are a low 1425hz

for those who come from US. JBL has a discount on their Webpage the 306 II for 119 $ instead of 199 and the 308 II for149$ instead of 249 $. Sad face from germany. But have fun with them

Hi, i jus bought a pair JBL 306 MKII speakers, but volume is audible only after 2.5 gain level in both the speakers, i feel better volume is only after 6+ gain level.
is it normal or do i need to replace them????
It is normal. Signal coming to monitors from your source is low level and that is why you have to keep the gain higher
Digital Stereophony : even after keeping 100% volume in my computer and Sound card, still the volume is very low, like i said keeping above 6.5 gain level , then it start sounding better and loud. And below 2.5 gain level its mute.
Is it a manufacturing defect or all jbl 3 series monitor come with this setting ?
@@greyaathmamusic it is not a defect. Output level on your PC is simply low. Is it an issue to set the level on JBL 8 and keeping it this way? The monitors will not complain about that at all
Digital Stereophony : it was at full volume in my pc, also I tried different computers , audio interface and cables to check the volume.. but still it sounds low.

Does the monitor will be mute if it is below 2 gain level or will it be mute only on 0 gain level ?
@@greyaathmamusic The issue with the volume issue you have is not with the monitors, it is with your computer. If the signal coming out of your computer is poor/low, say only 44.1khz 16bit, you wont get the full potential out of the JBL monitors. If you upgraded your pc with a higher end sound card, with a full band width full duplex signal, then you would hear a definite difference in the volume from your JBL's. Hardware is your issue, not the speakers. It will vary from pc to pc, all depends on the capabilities of the soundcard or interface the speakers are getting signal from. In otherwords, your speakers are working as intended. If possible, upgrade your pc systems soundcard if you want to fix the issue, or, get a decent quality interface to pull your signal from instead.

305's are much flatter : 306 has a wide -5dB dip around the X-over freq due to woofer and tweeter being quite out of phase there

@@user-xy8fd7qc5v It doesn’t say so much. Vocal range is between 300 and 3400Hz which is totally better on 306p. A combination of the shape of the box, the type and class of amplification, inside isolation and the material of the box , tweeter and woofer can effect on transparency of the sound. If you even ain’t a professional, you could recognize a better and more realistic sounding on 306p.

Too much bass on the 6's...
305 highs/treble is crap dude. it's so freaking distorted how do none of you hear that lmao. always like 30 likes for the top comment saying 305 is best, for damn near every video. but those high frequencies with distortions are unfortunately probably the only way to get those highs from speakers anywhere near this price range. seeing the adam T series videos, those really don't sound much better since the bass is like completely missing. some songs you don't want much bass but for the songs you do, you''ll regret it. I guess its the same with the 305s, compromises must always be made, either that or get multiple monitors. also adam makes expensive gear, for them to make an lsr/krk/yamaha competitor is just dumb, since it sounds like they purposely made the T line sound worse than their A line. it doesn't sound like the "next big budget speaker" it just feels like motivation to upgrade.

Agreed, it feels like the highs are crumbling apart while the 306p covers more frequencies whilst sounding more consistent. Though they're both not perfect the 306p is definitely much better IMO.
