I labored for 68 hrs which were the longest most painful hours of my life. Wish I could’ve gone fully unmedicated but overall I’m also still so proud of myself for giving it my all for my first birth. I love how you recognized how great and how hard your body did what it did. It took me a couple days to be proud of how my experience went but I love how you did so for future mamas watching. 🤗

Brit if you find Eva is not sleeping well at night give her her bath at bebdtime and then put little sock/booties on her feet because if their feet are cold they will be restless....
And after a bath & fed they will settle down for a Good night.
Sometimes the Hospital bathes them in the day & it will sometimes get their days & nights mixed up.... CONGRATULATIONS ❤💙💖🤗

Our 2 dogs could not tear themselves away from our son. 5 years later, when sister was born, they didn't even bother looking into the basinet. LOL. We also had a chocolate lab (& miniature rat terrier) Our lab, though became very protective & would watch the children outside, especially by the pool.

Well girls who get the epidural look so chill always lol but man having a baby without medication you will be like the exorcist lol it’s a crazy pain out of this world. My hubby was so traumatized after I gave birth to my baby girl, but anyway congrats I know that’s still hard work. She’s super beautiful and you are always the cutest and crack me up 😂 always

A great memory to vberidh forever! It is adorable how loving Sauel is towards baby sister. My dog someti.es wimpers and then barks a couple times when baby sister cries. Does Samuel wimper or bark when baby sis cries? I hope you and Connor are able to rest and relax. I am getting into a great routine at 3 months of being a first time mom.

I just had my little one last week and I took a shower the day after I had her. My mom was in the bathroom with me and it was in cooler water because a lot of people faint.

@@EATLIFTRUN I was in early labor since 35 weeks and on the 4th i started having contractions really bad and went walking all day Sunday and my water broke sunday night. We got to the hospital at 8:20 and I had her at 4:08. When we got there I was 3 centimeters. I had really intense contractions and they checked me around 3:30 and I was at a 5 so I decides to get an epidural. Well during the epidural I had the urge to push and after receiving the epidural they layed me down and I was at a 10 (this wasn't even 10 minutes after they checked and saw I was at a 5) I pushed for 18 minutes and had her. Lol the epidural didn't kick in until I was being stitched up, so I felt everything lol

Hey Brit, it might've been better to let Samuel get his energy out before introducing Eva to him. That way he would've been a bit more calm and it would've been less stressful for all of you.
Caroline U. Thanks for the suggestion! Since Samuel is a lab he has energy no matter what! 😂🤦🏻♀️ So we cant ever get his energy out. Haha But once he meets/gets the scent of someone, he’s calm. It’s always the initial meeting, of someone new, that makes him super excited!
Brit+Con woah, I can’t believe you replied! I wasn’t trying to be negative, just to be clear 😊 But in my experience taking the edge of the energy off helps in most dogs. You know Samuel the best though and since you know he calms down once he can sniff someone new, that may have been the best way to introduce Eva after all!

At 12:22..Is it right to put babies on their faces..?_?..(..or to let them sleep face down..!?...isn't that dangerous...?!..the SIDS...!!)
She was not sleeping. We were doing tummy time, which was and is always monitored. Tummy time is important for them! However, yes, babies should never sleep on their stomachs.
