I LLLLLOVVVEEE how Riddles chooses not to go the 0 to death route sometimes if it won’t work.
He’ll end it with bair for damage and advantage state. That then leads to another opportunity for another combo.

To all of you hating on Riddles, not only is he by far the best Kazuya, he was also taking sets off Sparg0 with Terry before Kazuya even existed. I guarantee Sparg0 would destroy any other top Kazuya so the only difference is the player.
Lastly, you all act as if Pythra isn’t absolutely broken and super easy to mess up Kazuya with. 😂

spargo was WAY too aggressive this match. Cloud in theory wins against all shotos plus Kazuya as long as you space bair and other aerials and take your time. It was like he was impatient most of the set

Kazuya is a broken character. You can say he lose a MU, but the reality is that he can kill you with 2 or 3 interactions, no matter the character you use.
Thats why the professional players ranked top 5 because Kazuya doesn't lose any Matchup

Spargo threw so hard. Spamming obvious hit boxes every single approach game 1. Then he stops, makes a comeback, but immediately SDs as soon as he gets a percentage lead. Tilts game 2 and gets demolished. Kazuya also looks pretty broken. Riddles only won neutral a couple of times each stock and Kazuya's frame data isn't even that bad.

kazuya slow asf, but hits hard. sounds pretty even. have you tried playing as kazuya against aegis? youre in for a bad time for the most part if youre not close to perfect with punish. just like in tekken.

@@fangiscool1 literally made to be slow for the fact his punish is probably the best. You're gonna up air when you're getting juggled everytime talking about decent frames? You want to be a decent Mishima in tekken? Hard punish = pewgf on many -14 moves, distinguishing feature from the other mishimas. He has crouch dash, so what? This is an aerial game and he's literally nerfed to have the slowest jump, no one else has that. People get mad when kazuya hits them because a great kazuya will kill you. Same for Luigi. I get mad when an aegis hits me because now I gotta use my 'decent frames' to get back to the ground in an aerial game. Next you're gonna say Kazuya can air dodge out of juggles. I don't think I saw a single 0-death in this set. The comparison between him in here and in tekken is that he's still very much a difficult character to pilot at the top level because none of it is free despite what you may think. Average kaz player punish vs a top kaz punish is night and day, and you NEED that every point of damage/combo extension to win.
