Wow. 38.2 Hp from 125. Wasn’t Travis Pastrana works RM 125 from 2000 38hp. Heck old Yz400 from 1980 had 38 Hp. Impressive vs 20 Hp for yz125 in 1981. ❤
Ya that’s extremely impressive especially considering the fact that the Gas Gas MC125 is a whole 12 pounds lighter than the KTM&Husqvarna competition without fuel! 12lbs may as well be a metric ton for 125 2 stroke mx class
Anyone familiar with the Gasgas platform at all have any takes on getting one of their newer bikes and a introduction to 2-strokes? I've always been a diehard 4-stroke "fanboy" from bantering with my cousin back when he was on his yz 125 and I was rocking a crf 150f. Years later I couldn't be happier and having more fun on my 09 LTR 450r and plan to definitionally keep forever and eventually pass down in the world of ever fleeting sport quads but when it comes to buying a new dirtbike I've always wanted to tinker with a little enduro ripper to tear around on and have some fun for a day
Get the 125 and tsp kit! Southbay performance is super helpful and sells tsp parts.. they are super helpful and I just got off the phone with them and he's got it figured it down to a science
I believe this is the last year then they’re going FI as well. I’m planning to pick one up in the next month! Maybe a 250 though. Do you have any input on that? I’m a sport bike rider and this will be my first dirt bike since I was a teen, where I had just a little experience. Will mostly do trails in the beginning.
@@paulygood6665 lmao! You’re right! The MC 125 is a lot more modern, it’s lighter, it’s definitely faster (MC125 41hp - CR125 31hp) and lastly the suspension is way better on the Gas Gas than the last “REAL CR” lmao…. When it comes down to the YZ125, or the MC125 I couldn’t tell ya personally! I’d say it’s the bow and not the Indian (rider) because the two of them are the same price, the YZ suspension is better, but the MC has more HP, and the fact I’m even typing all of this out like I’m somehow going to change your mind is pissing me off the further I go lol! Cheers
@@jpesicka492 Honda will never go back to a 2-Stroke. They suck the balls of anything green energy movement. Nothing wrong with that , but a couple of 2stroke dirt bikes in the woods once a week is not “Gross Pollution “
@@paulygood6665 no one said they were.. I simply stated this resembles what a CR125 woulda coulda shoulda looked like if it was still made. It's not GASGAS fault that it resembles a bike that hasn't been made since what..2007?
Music to my ears. Thanks for the fun and informative video.
Absolutely brilliant motorcross bike.
I just love how the way silver aluminum rims looks. And of course, how the way 2 strokes sound.
The GasGas series are the best looking dirt bikes across the board wight now.
Silver wheels are still the best as well imo
@@Tasteless_dan idk the black is clean
I think the tm is
They do look cool. It's hard to get past the GasGas name, it just sounds Cheesy. I may have to add some custom Honda graphics. 😉
I agree

That is good spec on my 02 cr 125 was 30
I’d say so, the last generation two stroke RC125 Honda Grand Prix bike of the late 90s was rated at 56 but probably had a 1500 rpm wide powerband
What is the fuel consumption difference between carburetor and fuel injected?
i love my '23 TC125. the new tech is amazing!
How much different is the engine reliability between gas gas and Yhamma, what’s better and and has less maintenance
Thinking about buying one
Can you guys do it on the Ktm sx125

What is a good weight for a kid n this bike
120-150
Great bike 💪 Killer Red Rocket 👊✊✌️😉
Question is, will ktm group keep this bike old school or go fuel injection. I hope they give us the option to choose between the two

This thing must “Fly” (2:13 mark)
LOL saw that
I want!
Next week!!!
Sounds like the Husqy with cast triple clamps....airbox, suspension lower
Husqy top tier
KTM mid
GasGas bottom
And yet, the gas gas won the 125 shootout.
Jump on the CA-210 and finish the Test Review at the Rialto Landfill Mid-Valley 🏁 Where it belongs!!!😂

Not even close to a “REAL CR” the YZ will kill that fake ass bike. Not even made in Spain anymore

You wasted your breath. He rides a worn out Yz and has been getting his cheeks clapped by guys on Mc 125s
It Is KTM, Not Gas Gas,. Wins
looks like a fake honda cr 125.
It looks like what a CR125 COULD/WOULD/SHOULD look like if they didn't pull out of the 2 stroke game. (I ride an 01 CR125)
More like a 10x better cr 125. Cr wished they looked this good and performed as good

In the decades to come, when all the bikes are electric, the name "Gas Gas" will be outmoded. Lol.
Amp amp. Volt volt. Electric electric
$400 price hike for 1 year is absolutely insane. Inflation is beyond fucked and well all be lower class by 2030
