My favorite show growing up!!!! Love it still, watch it still!!!! 😂😂😂... Grandpa and Herman are two peas in a pod!!! Frank Gorshin, as The Riddler on Batman!!!! This comedy is just priceless!!!!🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤..🦇🦇🦇🦇.....😂😂😂😂....
Me too! I have loved this show since it first came on. I know that they only did 2 seasons but I could watch them over and over again. I watch it anytime I can.
@@doneidson Yes! The Munster’s is still my favorite show, too. I love Herman Munster. When I was a kid I always laughed at his cookie persona. Herman Munster is hilarious. Grandpa, Lily, and Eddie Munster are one of a kind.
I liked The Munsters better, too. However, I could very rarely see The Addams Family because ABC was an almost impossible channel to get to come in (via OTA antenna on top of the house or the one on the top of the tall metal pole in the backyard), in 1964-1966. CBS was an easy channel to get, and NBC came in pretty well, but ABC was 90% snow. Cable wasn't available until 1975.
I remember growing up I will watch these tv shows all the time. It was one of my favorites. Wow it was such as so innocent of me believing in vampires and monsters... Good memories came back to my childhood.
1st chance to buy The Munsters I jumped at it. I grew up loving this tv series. Plus, being totally honest, as a young teenager, Lily Munster was always a pleasure to look at.
Mid 60s was extremely heavy on laugh tracks for ALL sitcoms. The slow return to live audiences started happening around 1967 with the exception of Lucy of course who was almost always with a live audience.
I miss Herman and Grandpa. We use to live next door to each other back in the old country.🤣Herman and Grandpa would have been very helpful to Sam & Dean Winchester chasing ghosts and monsters. I am sure, Grandpa and Herman knew some of them from living back in the old country.😁😁😁😃😀🤣
@@Puddycat00 I've got mine on a portable external hard drive. I need to copy it for my living room TV. But with the programs I have on my android box in the living room I can watch almost anything I want. Even the Munsters. The service I have shows them on vod 24 hours a day.
Takes me back to the 70s when i was a kid and they would show the reruns always 💯 this show is the reason why i love horror movies and TV Halloween 🎃🎃🎃🎃 beyond awesome funny show 💯🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🦇🦇🦇🦇
It wasn't a telephone. It was an in house intercom system. See those buttons on the right? Eddie talked to the baby sitter in one of them and Grampa talked on it too in an episode.

Love this freaky fun show ! Herman & Grandpa are so good xx
And hilarious together! 😁😁😁😁😁
I heard they were in a tv show together before this one called “Car 54 Where Are You”. I heard it was pretty good.
They need to put all these movies like this here in solid gold because they are priceless never find anything like this not in this day and age
Fred Gwynne is a veteran his character of Herman was perfect because that's exactly the way he was kind and gentle
I can watch this show over and over and its never boring.

I agree 💯 wholeheartedly 😅
I miss that show. One of my favorites.
Buy the show. I have the two seasons on dvd and also the Adam’s Family. They are the best great fun sitcoms.

Herman was fooled 😢
But at the end he won 😂
Whoa, whoa, whoa!!! Spoiler Alert!!!😂
I haven't watched it yet.
@@ml9867 Don't worry about it. With the Munster's no matter what happened, in the end goodness and right always won out in the end.
One of the Best shows ever made, all the stars were just great!!!
"Fair deal Dan" 😂😂
One of the best tv memories of my youth, I'll forever ❤ this show!
Frank Gorshin aka The Riddler from the classic Batman TV show.
Fred Gwyn and Al Lewis were gold!
And Herman’s wife Lilly
I highly recommend "Car 54 Where Are You" for more Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis humor.
Love the Munsters! One of my favorite tv series of all time… Herman Munster is a gas 😅
ADAM'S FAMILY IS MUCH BETTER
The Munsters, Dennis The Menace, & Lassie are the only shows I'm willing to watch in black & white. They're that good!
car 54 is the best
How about the Andy Griffith show and Gomer Pyle?
@@martingarcia4373 I haven't seen it. Please don't tell me any spoilers.
You don't like I Love Lucy, Leave it to Beaver or The Donna Reed Show?
How could you leave out the Twilight Zone with Rod Sterling.
Much preferred the Munsters over the Adam’s family, classic slapstick
Tough call. They both had their charms.
Me two, lol😂 too
Munsters 😅

Remember going to see munster go home in theaters as a kid in south philly. Seeing the munsters in technicolor was incredible to a 7 year old.
The laugh track almost never stops.
There are movies were also right on target just real entertainment with family values

I hated when scooby doo used the laugh track
@@wutta-do5zy
That may be so, but I hardly ever noticed the laugh track. I was too immersed in the show.
*hahaha "Fair deal Dan" I heven't seen this one in years~I love it :))*
The special effects were so awesome back then.
As a car guy, I'd LOVE to know how they rigged that car to do what it did and fall apart like that!
Today's kids are really missing out. This was the best times in America.
Herman inhaling for hickups...his expression is pure Laurel Hardy !!. Thanks 60s buffs. Dave

Pat Woodell from S2E32 - A Visit from the Teacher.
