The 20e in comparison sounds more alive in my opinion, 3d and better balanced overall. The 10e feels like there's something holding back.
I'm sure both are good guitars. Thanks for the demo! :)

No, the walnut 20e is actually the brightest and clearest, the 10e sounds more muddy and 'boomy'

@@bjrnsjohnsen1278 because the mid range of 10e are too Overwhelmed for that studio mic(condenser) it wouldn't be if it was guitar mic or dynamic and the fact that 20e is all walnut so it has less color in the sound make it better for studio mic

Fantastic demo. The 20e sounds like it got more definition and clarity.

It is all a matter of taste but to my ears the 20 sounds a lot warmer, more in balance.

Wish the 20 had been out when I bought my 10

Great vid, thank you very much... Nice playing, also! 10e sounds boomier and maybe kinda muddy but louder to my ear. 20e sounds much more cleaner and defined... Did you get a similar feeling in person? I own a 10e and don't feel it as muddy as I hear this one here but I believe if I'd have gone for the 20e if it was available at the time I bought mine. Same strings on both guitars? Thanks!

    Can you do a 12E vs a 22E comparison?

I bought the 20e and I love everything about it, but I’m not sure about how “scaled down” the guitar is. The neck is a quarter inch longer and the body is a quarter inch shorter than the Gibson J-45, while the width is the same.

I like my 10e. Just wish it had a wider nut.

I own a 12e and love it! These both sound great….but my preference would be the 10e.

20e has more low end and slightly muted, 10e has less low end and more high end.
