  • 2017 FEI World Cup Finals Western Dressage Freestyle during the Dressage Showcase
In the true spirit of its western heritage, Lynn Palm rides American Paint Horse Rugged Painted Lark, one handed with romel reins performing movements that are not yet in competition. Rugged Painted Lark, also known as Bruce, is the only tobiano son of the AQHA Hall of Fame stallion, Rugged Lark. Rugged Lark performed bridleless at the 1989 World Cup in Tampa, FL and the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA. Bruce has followed in his sire’s footsteps performing for audiences as the 2007 BreyerFest horse, at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington, KY and at the 2017 World Cup. Rugged Painted Lark has also graced magazine and book covers as well as starred in Palm Equestrian Academy's educational television shows.
