I can't even ask a waitress for a drink refill or send food back to the kitchen if it is undercooked or not what I asked for without being overcome with horrible guilt so while I would love to have the help of an assistant I don't think I could handle the overwhelming guilt I would feel by asking them to do anything.

I have been a nanny for seven years, watching those kids grow up makes you feel like you are a part of their family, and seeing their little faces light up when they see you is such a rewarding feeling! It is like being a parent in training. You can be their friend and have fun with them but you also have to draw a line somewhere between friend and being a disciplinarian. It was and will forever be my favourite job.

Is it weird that I want to BE an assistant? Running around doing menial tasks sounds so great to me. I love constantly being physically and mentally busy, along with the slight stress that having to do a bunch of stuff gives me. It’s weird. But of course the pay needs to be GOOD.
