Yup. It's a great looking coin. And a nice design to commemorate the Tuskegee Airmen. Here's a link to a 1945 US Army Air Forces documentary on the Tuskegee airmen, narrated by Ronald Reagan. ua-cam.com/video/qWd5DdsEBqg/v-deo.html There were also 2 Hollywood movies made about them, one directed by George Lucas, Red Tails, starring Cuba Gooding Jr.. And The Tuskegee Airmen, an HBO film, starring Lawrence Fisburne, which had some limited movie theater showings. Cuba Gooding Jr, starred in both movies.
Just found you through the extraordinary SalivateMetal. Nice video. The eyes on those coins are quite piercing. Just friended you up and looking forward to future videos.
@@SalivateMetal THAT'S RIGHT, I REMEMBER YOU COVERING THAT. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE OTHER COINS IN THAT FORMAT. A 5 IN PEACE DOLLAR WOULD BE VERY COOL. *TYU*
Looks amazing. Great review my friend. It's a stunning coin. Thanks for sharing the history behind the Airmen!

HI MRMNMN. NICE COIN. NOW THAT THE MINT HAS THE EQUIPMENT AND EXPERIENCE WITH THE 5 OZ COINS, I HOPE THEY CONTINUE MINTING 5 OZ COINS.
Hi Donald. You know, that's a good thought. More 5oz silver coints from the US Mint would be nice. Thanks for watching and liking.
I believe under the legislation passed by congress that they will continue with 5 ounce versions for the Women on Quarters and Youth Sport programs.
