Pendolino is such an iconic train in the UK. Excited to drive on Tuesday. Also can't wait for the remastered Great Western Express as the HST is my absolute favorite. Nice video man
i dont undestand how this "modern" game engine still cant get the basics right when it comes to realism.....a simple diffuse shadow under the train LOL would do...
FYI the lights should have day and night settings day are to notify people of the train approaching and night to do the same but also illuminate trackside signs. Also UK older train lights are dimmer because the idea was to not for the driver to see by them but so that people could see a train was coming
You should enable AWS/TPWS! You very nearly went through a red at 27:20 and were lucky that it changed to yellow in front of you because you were not stopping. AWS/TPWS would have helped...
I would say that dovetail have a good start for train sim world 5. The route quite interesting and busy for wcml and Frankfurt fulda(even without other dlc). I'm not fan of US new route on tsw5. The only us route i really like is the Lirr commuter(hopefully there will be more route like that). However there is still bugs which affects the gameplay, hope that day 1 patch will fix all the bugs and really hope they follow this kind of work for future routes. So far the Frankfurt Fulda routes is the best route
Been to and worked loads in Milton Keynes ( milky beans lol ) , not a very old city built around 30 years ago I believe, based on American city design apparently with the H and V grid design road network, so you are eithe driving horizontally or vertically. At first I found it quite confusing but once you are used to it, it works really well and is easy to navigate, there is rarely any traffic hold ups as well I've found. Bit of a soulless place in my opinion but that may just be me. Tempted to buy the deluxe mode of this game , 53 sovs though, hmmm.....
If I buy the deluxe version of the game right now, will I be able to play early access right now? Even though I did not buy before pre order was released? And are someone who has never bought a train sim game at all and on console? What which version should I be buying?
Pre-order is still valid until the 17th, I bought it on the 12th after early access was already open so I could start playing immediately. I’m playing on PC (Steam). As for what version, I think the Deluxe and Special editions are the only ones with early access. I think the best option is to check their website that lists what you get in each edition and let your wallet decide if it’s worth it lol.
@@JmaK17 thank you guys for responding to me so fast 🙌🏼 really appreciate it. @MarcusDoughty you can do two tones on controller. Hold square and press the horn button on the controller. That should do the other tone. Then for the normal tone which you normally press just r3
Still sucks that the game has those micro stutters. I really wish it was smooth like the console version. The map shader having to be loaded in are really a bummer for pc. Crazy to think my pc with a i9 14900 and 4090 runs worse than my ps5 😂😂😂.
You're right. London is in the South East of England, but as it's been long regarded as the centre of the universe, all lines head out from there. So the West Coast Main Line starts in London, and then heads west.
@@thisis_mudchute right. So the bits that look new, and are new content, you have to pay for. But the bits that look the same (the base game/graphics) are free. So nobody is being scammed and the original comment is wrong.

Honestly love a good winter run in TSW5 Hits differently
It really does
yes blu! the pendolino is my favourite train in the uk
Yea im liking it so far

It's due to performance mainly
So funny, this is my real daily commute 😂 I just watched your A320neo Tollis vid then stumbled on this one!!! (Yes there is 1st class BTW ha ha)
2:35 that weird pod thing is where the conductor would sit, but for there obvious reasons, they cannot share what is in that.
People who live in the US: What is Milton Keynes
Me and other people in Milton Keynes: It’s where we live.

We need a FULL GRAPHICS of this

British horns are most of the time *TWO TONED* High tone is *Space* and Low tone is *N* Just so you know
Yea i know. But thanks
On xbox I think there is one button but for me it's always the high pitched horn

Great video, with such nice realistic gameplay. Do you use your raildriver on your routes? Thanks for your knowledge and work putting these together.
How do you start this kind of journey, where you spawn on foot and take over a mission of the npc Train ?

2:46 There is First Class on this train. It's literally s HIGH speed train!
Looks like my tsw3, no need to buy
They should make it so that you can go from Euston to Manchester.
Is there a Stream Deck profile for this?
Class 390 is one of the best on the network.
This route is one of the best. Top 3 for me
Every time I get to the 40mph section either leaving euston or entering euston my game crashes. Xbox- not able to drive an actual service

@dreck32 on console u get all the same buttons and switches and features. Only difference is max fps and fewer traffic on older gen consoles
Is it worth me upgrading from a 6800xt to a 4080
Too short from Milton Keynes to london . From Birmingham to london when ??? Train sim 6 😅😅
I’d love Manchester to Birmingham with a fair few stops not just a 30min route.
One thing for console we can't do both tones without using in cab controls 😔

If you cap the framerate to 60 does it help?
@martindescoteaux9288 no
Trust me the console version has micro stutters as well😂
Is Glasgow in this game?
Not on this route
There are 2 routes with glasgow: cathcart circle and edinburgh-glasgow
why is it called west coast mainline? London is on the east cost.

London isn't on any coast but this line runs London to Scotland along the west side of the country
I’ve also been on it it’s like that.
On the 9 car train of 390 Pendolino, it can handle 2k people and is 0.9 miles long.
Is this train also in the standard edition?.
No
Witch version ?@@BluGames
you'll need deluxe, or buy standard and buy pendolino for extra £15. its overpriced af
Does Dovetail create the game
Yes
I love u man.❤❤❤ But i had a question, are you a trained pilot? Actually i watched your mfs videos. Your terminologies were good.
Thank you so much! No im not a real pilot.. atleast not yet
My grandad drives the 350
Weird. looks exactly the same as TSW 4,3,2,and 1. Same trains too. It's almost like Dovetail is trying to scam us again or something...
Most of these trains never existed in tsw.
Since when did tsw have a pendo, 350, icet, 114?
The base game upgrade is free
the upgrade to tsw5 is free. getting wcml isnt

looks as dull as the east coast main line
They are similar this one is a little bit busier
Ecml is just boring to look at with 2 tracks and not much scenery.
Wcml has 4 tracks and looks more interesting
Micro stutters? Pathetic!
Not for me. Less than old routes
