I agree with your lesson about the surrendering of Calibar to you & your rope. I've found that if I surrender to the Lord quickly, there's less pain in whatever I'm going through (even such as grieving the loss of a loved one). The longer I hang onto my own will or desires, the more painful the process.

Trinity, Im watching you from Romania and been watching you for a year + now. Let me just say that the message in this video helped me a lot. My father is fighting brain cancer for 2 years now. He is in chemo and radiationtherapy during this Christmas and we realise that this might be his last christmas or he will be cured. That’s up in God’s hands, we always have to trust Him and follow His plan in this life. We are a family of dedicated christians but, as all humans do, we worry sometimes and what you said has given us hope and peace that GOD KNOWS BEST!! Thank you and bless you and your family!! 🙏🏼
I believe your dad will be healed. He will get through this. There are new meds out here for brain cancer now, and the hope is that his docs will be able to have success with them. Good luck! Keep the faith!

several pastures of horses to feed and the first time I was feeding on my own I had no clue where the feed buckets were from the day prior. The horses, as you say, creatures of habit, led me straight there. I thought it was pretty funny. They helped me look like I knew what I was doing.

Gosh, I’m glad he is getting shoes. I saw another comment and was thinking that this is a little comment on the tear-jerking Red Shoes song! Edit: so who are all those other horses? His body guards? Edit 2: when cats lick their lips after they are reprimanded, it’s the same - you have to be looking carefully to see them! Edit 3: I’ve never seen anyone twist the end of a nail off with a hammer. But you’ve shown me more in this whole video than many of the videos I have watched about shoeing horses. Edit 4: family and health make a person happy. Family can be defined any way you want - but knowing that you have loved ones to be with, that sure makes up for a lot!
Really interesting video, Trinity. Calibar is behaving so well. At home in Germany back when I was a kid our blacksmith used fire to shape the new horseshoes. But u don't apparently? Anyway, Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to both of you 😊
He's doing what's known as cold shoeing. Nowadays horseshoes can be bought pre made and if they are a good fit for the horse no heat is really necessary to shape them. An anvil and a few whacks with the hammer can do the job. Heat is still used for specialty shoes that correct a problem or for more advanced shaping/fitting, or for making shoes from bar stock.

I lost my daughter not long ago to breast cancer. I’ve tried real hard not to blame God. She was 36 when we lost her. I’m so thankful of the time I had with my Babygirl. I’ve had a very hard time with this but I also know my Babygirl is not in pain hurting and I total misery! She would choose to live and being in misery to stay with her family but that wasn’t God’s plan! I agree we have to let go and trust our Lord has a reason for what he does. My prayer is it’s not the sins of the father. My message is don’t give up and know god is great and he will over come. You have to believe in Gods grace!
Love watching farrier work. My 20 yo mare loves our farrier. 4 feet Trimmed and reset on her front hooves and she moves like she’s a filly again lol
