Indian here. I appreciate your effort. 🤗 That said, I've got to tell you that there's a specific order to add ingredients in, and cooking times to be allotted for each ingredient to cook fully. Try watching some indian cooking videos by reputed chefs/cooks, like Ranvir Brar or Food with Chetna for example, on youtube. I'm glad you did not add apples to your curry like some brits do. 😅😊 All the best mate.

Hi Meena, thank you so much! I don't mix my own spices, but buy a mix from a local Indian grocery store. I appreciate you watching and commenting 👍

I recently discovered your channel - what a delight! Fun and informative. I'm always looking for better camp cooking ideas than the same old tired "boil your water and re-hydrate your noodles" recipes.

Looks great. Can one exchange tofu for something else? Any suggestions what to use as substitute. Thanks.

Sure you can leave the tofu out totally and add more chickpeas or some cauliflower would work. Unless you have a soy allergy though smoked tofu is pretty delicious stuff. Thanks for watching!

Trying to decide which bushpot to get. Thinking about the 64oz Pathfinder or one of these Zebras. But deciding between the 14 cm and 12 cm. This looks like the 12 cm in your video. Is the meal you cooked in this video enough for two people? Sometimes ones of my grown kids comes with me. May fix a meal like this next time and wondering if the 14 is what I need. Would like 12 if it did the job for something like this for two people Thank you.

This is the 12CM billy pot. It could feed two, in fact it did, my wife enjoyed it as well😀.
I have some Pathfinder gear, it's good stuff but overall I prefer these Zebra Billy Pots. Both are great!

@@Woodswalker1965 I think I will start with the 12 cm. If I find it ends up working well enough for my cooks the smaller size will definitely be better. If I find I want a larger size on some occasions then I could get the 14 cm in the future. Would not hurt to have both and just grab the one that fits best for the cook and number of people on that trip. Often it is just me and the 12 cm definitely seems better for that. Thank you.
