Dawkins's recent comments are a little dumb, but terms like Cultural Christian and Cultural Jew are long established. There are even many people who call themselves culturally muslim, despite not really believing in Islam. Where I live there has always been a lot of 'cultural' Catholics.

He's right though. There's just as little evidence for the Greek gods as any other god but they make much more sense.
The god of Christians and Muslims is repeatedly said to be omnipotent and also merciful and great. Yet, he created hell and structured the world in such a way that many people are guaranteed to sent there forever (according to Christianity and Islam). Not to mention all the pointless suffering that happens while we are still alive! This means there is an inherent contradiction at the heart of these religions.
The Greek gods allow suffering to happen and some of them send people to Hades (hell), but they are upfront about their capriciousness and inconsistencies. The ancient greeks never tried to argue that their gods were always good and loved the people. It's simply a more sensible (albeit still manmade) religion.

Go and learn about the arguments for why Islam is the truth. You'll find some that may not mean much, some that appear to not mean much and some that appear to mean a lot. You'll come across doubts but instead of being skeptical and then waving it away as ridiculous, be patient until you see answers come to you steadily. That's what happened for me. I don't have a lot of knowledge, but as far as I know Islam is the only possible true religion, and the true religion.

The morality 100 years ago would be vastly different than it is today. And even more so the further back you go. Morality was a process created from consequence of action that had no need for religion to play a role.

Once they are back to their body, they aren't the same anymore, they are now like "born again" and approach life in a spiritual and inclusive way, not in a materialist or religious dogmatic way. Knowing that experience is superior to any book, why should they believe the sayings of a book that contradicts their experience? If Allah really wanted to be feared with a hell waiting for the disbelievers, he would not have given an experience of pure bliss to those disbelievers who temporarily left their bodies while clinically declared dead so that back in their bodies they remain disbelievers with this profound sense of oneness and the absolute certainty that paradise awaits us after death.
