Hopefully the feel of Mario having “the only consistency is inconsistency” that Odyssey also had goes strong in Wonder with the vibes here as it seems so far.
It is the smallest things in Nintendo's games that many people love to attach to. Like the crown in 3D world. Even if it's just points everyone always fights for it

I was already looking forward to Wonder, but much more so after seeing all the really cool stuff they've shown in this Direct: new enemies galore, even more playable characters, all the new power-ups and Wonder Flower effects, the badges practically à la Yoshi's Woolly World, the online etc.! Oh, and your reaction was great as usual!
This new style of online co-op is perfect because it gives you all of the good sides of co-op (reviving, sharing items) and giving you none of the bad sides. You now can't purposely fuck someone over cause you're a troll. It makes co-op actually fun versus frustrating. And if you're playing with friends, it's still co-op. But again, your friends can't fuck you up on purpose.
@@tumultuousv It may be funny the first couple times, but after that it's just annoying (when it's on purpose). And it can't happen accidentally either. You can still do it in local. But I'm also just a person with no friends in general so I'll probably use regular online play. And it would piss me off if random idiots online just kept fucking with me lmao. To me it's just not funny at all to be a troll 🤷♀️ if others think differently then that's them.
The way the Yoshi's mouth are curled over their noses, it reminds me SO much of Statler and Waldorf from the Muppet Show, when they do that SAME thing in a couple episodes! XD

The Melon Piranha Plants had to have come from Yoshi's Island and is a nice twist on an old enemy mixed with a power up--Yoshi could find watermelons and spit seeds at enemies--this is ingenious...I wonder if Yoshi eats one of those guys if he can spit seeds too?
I definitely like everything that was shown here, but I'm actually very excited about the ghosts multiplayer. It means that everybody will get to play together at the same time, but everyone will have their own screen so we don't have to worry about straying too far ahead. Especially with the cool racing mode which is something I always liked doing, but I hated that I couldn't actually run off and try to get first place.
