Hi Linda! It is special when you come across a song that just hits home so incredibly hard. I can see that anyone going through what you have, would truly feel this song. I went through a really difficult time (which lasted for two years) about 20 years ago or so. It was just horrible to deal with and get through, but I fought through it and can now look back at that time as a period of growth for me. I hope you can find the same. Not sure what has triggered your feelings, but if you're interested in how I got through it, feel free to email me. I'll give you some background and how/why it worked. Anyways, thanks so much for the listen. I really appreciate it.
Not only is her voice very beautiful but the raw emotion she puts into this is heartbreaking. I've never heard this before but I can really relate sometimes. Life does get overwhelming from time to time. This brought on tears for me. I think we're all waiting for our own spaceship to come someday but I still love life. 🥀🦋🥰
I saw her in an interview and she said that they wrote the word spaceship on a whiteboard and then wrote the song around the word. Incredible. Very breathtaking song.
YES!! I recently lost my Dad (2 days after thanksgiving) and I was his care taker. He would tell me almost daily that “I ask the Good Lord to take me everyday” So I couldn’t help but think of my Dad listening to these already very emotional lyrics. SO POWERFUL. SO MOVING. Just….wow😮
Hi Misty. Sorry for the late reply, but I have literally thousands of messages that I try to get to. I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. I'm sure you blessed him in so many ways by being there for him. With all that you went through, I'm sure this song hit home. I think you summed it up perfectly..."Just....wow".
I saw a piece on ET on this. She said she does suffer from depression off and on and always has, so all this emotion came from there. Apparently she and her husband were coming home from an RV trip and he shot this video on his iPhone on a whim because the light was beautiful. 3 takes that evening in the sunset and a couple more in the morning. The whole thing was done in less than 30 minutes. Incredible. I've always loved her voice and knew she turned out to be a fantastic woman, as well. There's another video by her from a few years back you might like called, "Probably Wouldn't Be This Way" that will likely catch you in the feels as well. (Looked it up, 2005 is when that one is from. Lol. Guess it was more than a few years back.)
Thank you for the info. I could tell it was coming from something she was going through herself. It is so touching and makes me want to give her and all others who suffer from depression, a big hug.
Probably Wouldn't Be This Way is fabulous!!! It makes me bawl evetytime I hear it. I know it is about a husband and wife but it came out right when my mother died, her and I were so extremely close that "I Probably Wouldn't Be This Way" if she hadn't been such an incredible woman that loved me dearly.
LeAnn Rimes has had problems with depression. She checked her self in a hospital in 2012. And in 2021 and 2022 during the COVID pandemic her depression came back some and she wrote and released this song in 2022.
She is a starseed and her vibration is strong it’s to wake people up. To the realism of the way God works. The green orb was a definition of the spaceship. All starseeds go through deep depression because they don’t belong here but they are here for a higher purpous
That song took me back to a very difficult point in my life where I was calling out to god in the same way. Really powerful. Probably her best song ever. I hope it gets a lot of attention.
Again and again and again ... I am from the pleiades and I cannot hear it without crying. It is my feeling since my birth here on Earth. This is what we all Lightworkers are going through on this Earth. But we are Soldiers and we DId it RIGHT!!! FOR ALL THERE OUTSIDE... LOVE YOU ALL
@@ModernLifeForThe70sMind I want to sing it some day.. but not so wonderful like her... she is grandiosity... ABSOLUT EXCELLENT.. LOVE HER! Many greetings to you
I've always loved her singing voice, my musical taste is so eclectic I can't express what my favourite genre is, but I do know there are only a handful of songs that have moved me to tears and this is so powerful with her beautiful range and emotion that it certainly did.I actually love the video and her being so natural with no make up.
She was actually hoing thru some emotional things in life. Her husband Eddie recorded this video n desert on their way home. This is most powerful song i hav ever heard & felt !!! Love yhos song!!!!❤❤❤❤
LeAnn has an amazing voice; clear, almost piercing at times, and her pitch is spot-on. A couple of past videos I've seen really show it. "The Rose" -- so beautiful and powerful that when I heard it while driving I had to pull over and get composed to continue. "Cattle Call" -- a duet with Eddy Arnold really shows off her voice and yodeling ability. Rather nostalgic for this 60's / 70's guy. One person addressing her talent called it 'perfect pitch', and I agree. You haven't seen a lot of her because her image got tainted some time ago.
I can see how you are touched in your eyes. My brother had a major stroke 18 years ago, leaving him in a hemiplegic body. I am his caregiver and this song totally reminds me of him and where he is at. So I understand your comment about your mom.
@@ModernLifeForThe70sMind LOVED IT! I was out weeding the front yard all morning. Luckily my son-in-law has the coolest tool called a Hound Dog. I don''t even need to be on my knees or bending over all the time.
I heard this song a couple of months ago. It touched me to my core. I'm not suicidal, but I am going through a lot in my life right now and I feel like this song is a prayer to God for help. I actually play this song every single day when I take a shower. I sing along and pray to God as I listen to it. This song means SO much to me.
Great reaction, Bob! Yes the song she sang long ago was "Blue". She does have a beautiful voice although for some reason I never cared for "Blue". I did however have a favorite of hers "I Need You" ua-cam.com/video/AA_5sLaTErQ/v-deo.html and the song from the movie, 'Coyote Ugly' "Can't Fight the Moonlight" ua-cam.com/video/Ihv2JVpUmA8/v-deo.html (Audio only). She sounds great in this songs. She definitely sang with a lot of emotion.
Thanks Teresa. It's one of those things you just deal with and look back and appreciate what an amazing mother and beautiful friend she was to so many people. Heart of gold, for sure. Wasn't this song amazing?! I just loved it. I listen to this on a regular basis. Thanks so much for the listen. I really appreciate it.
Holy crap m8, that was a tough one. And incredibly beautiful. Going on my rotation for sure, and it relit my interest for LeAnn. That's for sure. I've been reading about the setting behind the shoot, and it's an incredible work of art. Comes across as a one in a billion strike of perfect lineup and luck in a way. Quite something to look back on for her and her husband. And thanks a lot for another great reaction, Bob. I really loved hearing about your mother. She must have been one incredible woman♥♥♥ Love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥
I greet you. I identify with your feeling. I have experienced and heard many songs in my 57 years, but I have never experienced so many chills all over my body in my life. So emotional that I'm not even ashamed of my tears while listening. Well reviewed from you, thank you.
If you like this, please listen to her songs on the masked singer season 4. Incredible! She has just gotten more powerful over the years. Regarding this song, my Buddhist friends tell me that Buddhism teaches that life is about suffering. But at what point do we say ok enough. Why do we have to continue. This song asks that question. And does a great job.
@@ModernLifeForThe70sMind it was a very emotional concert. She was on her third song of her set and she burst into tears and the whole venue became silent. She regained her composure, apologized and said “my step father just passed away”. She was singing Loveline. That concert was by far the best show I’ve ever seen. Cried all the way to the car. Love her..
I felt the same as you. It's just wow. I love her. Been following her a long time and still do and see her concerts. She is an unbelievable, amazing human with the most beautiful voice.
There are times when a songwriter writes such powerful lyrics that they may NEVER be able to sing them without the emotion attached to the choice of words used. This has been my favorite song on replay for days and days now. I'm pretty sure, unless something amazing is released in the next couple of weeks, this song will be my Top Favorite Song of 2022. (And I expect that I'll still be listening to it regularly into 2023.)
One of my favorites! As soon as I saw it, I could relate! No I don’t deal with depression, I deal with the cruelty of humanity upon each other! It feels so foreign to me here. ❤
Saw this the first time today I haven't 'followed her recently either I had to watch several times,.I had a very raw emotional reaction, after nearly dying 8 months ago from a medical crises' was taken from my home unconscious and didnt wake up for 3 days . I was moved to tears from her tears and raw emotions. Then I saw an interview she talked about this being written during covid lock down. The months of isolation, the fear, all the dying .depression from it all she said it was like ok GOD Ive had enough havent we all suffered enough Cant get it out of my mind Very grateful my spaceship left without me
What a pure, moving song, the video makes me cry every time. Soul rending and sincere, LeAnn is such a beautiful soul with one of the greatest voices of all time. This is a once in a lifetime kind of song to me. Wonderful reaction, glad it made you think of and honor your mom, im sorry her legacy ended in such a difficult way.
i just loved "can't fight the Moonlight" and i do (with aloe blacc) back in the days , and still do love it. This Song "spaceship" is absolutely beautiful 🥰 thank you bob for reaction to this great song , and now with this one , i have my first song for my ipod where i collect every 2 weeks new songs - do this for years! (sorry , i hope you understand what i mean) I feel like you feel with those kind of songs. You can see how much pain she gone through in this videos , i think. These honest and sincere words you told about your mother was touching for me too because i can relate to the things you said.
Thanks! It was a bit hard getting those words out. Almost didn't post the video. I kinda thought it might have been too personal. Oh well, I did it anyways. Ha
Her life has been very very hard. Being a child star and problems with her parents and the hatred that surrounded her when her and her husband got together has led to a struggle with depression. They were married to others at the time but made it through all of the pain and judgement that comes with that and have been married many years now. She's incredible for sure. She has the heart to embrace the hurt in her life and that of her fans. She did a reel or something like that shortly after this song came out showing her reacting to reading the comments from hurting fans and how much it touched her heart. I think child singers like her and Tanya Tucker to name 2 are able to just be real and human with their fans. No reason to "put on" we've known them forever so it's easier to be genuine.
None of that surprises me. You can tell just by watching the video, even if she's lip syncing it. That she's sincere in her feelings. This was quite an inspiring video and I really enjoyed it more than I expected to. Thanks so much for the info and thanks so much for the listen.
I came across this a week or so ago… and shared. I feel this way always, and I do believe that we’re not alone in the universe… yet that there is a spiritual energy within us, but not of an earthly created religion, but of all that there is… and definitely waiting for my spaceship to come… every word is what I’ve always felt… I believe my mission is done here, I’m ready to go, what’s the point of waiting, how much pain can a human bare, etc… everything spot on, as THIS world is done; a mess… history simply recycles itself in the worst of ways, and 99% of the population is in some, or many forms of pain, and truly ready to return “home”, whatever they believe that to be… It hit hard because it’s the truth for everyone… some only at certain times and few, while for others, a daily 24/7 sense of now only existing… how many people actually “live” anymore on this planet? I’d suspect 99% feel, and have felt they are simply “existing”, and beyond the point of being ready for their spaceship, because enough is enough…
Hi Bob, still wishing you would do a reaction to Over the Rainbow by Eva Cassidy, the black and white video, been a little while since I asked, Please? On another note, this was a wonderful song by LeAnn, she’s lucky she’s married to David Foster one of the best composers out there! I’m not sure but I bet he wrote this.

I feel this way always, and I do believe that we’re not alone in the universe… yet that there is a spiritual energy within us, but not of an earthly created religion, but of all that there is… and definitely waiting for my spaceship to come… every word is what I’ve always felt… I believe my mission is done here, I’m ready to go, what’s the point of waiting, how much pain can a human bare, etc… everything spot on, as THIS world is done; a mess… history simply recycles itself in the worst of ways, and 99% of the population is in some, or many forms of pain, and truly ready to return “home”, whatever they believe that to be…
It hit hard because it’s the truth for everyone… some only at certain times and few, while for others, a daily 24/7 sense of now only existing… how many people actually “live” anymore on this planet? I’d suspect 99% feel, and have felt they are simply “existing”, and beyond the point of being ready for their spaceship, because enough is enough…
Beautiful and heartbreaking.
It’s a holy hymn.
Hi Steve. I did, a while ago. Here's the link. ua-cam.com/video/aoZhi6lZEGY/v-deo.html
