Hey R&A good to see you too! I hope you and your family have been doing well. I see you started up on UA-cam again, I wish you guys a ton of success going into 2023!
As someone looking to retire to PS, I have been following posts from people in Palm Springs. It is my understanding that short term renters make living in some PS neighborhoods not as nice as it would otherwise be. Common complaints are very loud music outdoors at all hours of the day or night. People being loud or having drunken arguments at all hours. In general, the renters don’t seem to care that they are in a neighborhood. I think this could be what is behind the move to change the rules on short term rentals.
Thank you for watching! I agree there has to be some balance for the homeowners. The renters need to respect the people who live in the community full time.
This is true, supply and demand! My clients who are in those cities are winning big because of the less inventory available for short term rentals. Thank you for watching!
But it’s a horrible thing for those of us who bought a property out there for that reason. It’s going to effect the PS economy. Watch. Also… my neighbor is also from LA and is definitely not occupying their PS home 90 days a year-30 days max.

This is a good thing.... especially if you have rentals in Palm Desert/Bermuda Dunes/Cat City/Indio!
