I'm from the US but I have lived in Saudi and I live in the United States currently and I'm a practicing Muslim and he is dead wrong about 90% of the things he says in this video

I had a friend [who passed away] who was from the Rangely Lake area of Maine. Rangely Lake is an enormous freshwater lake in upper Maine [not as big as the Great Lakes around Michigan] that has a large island out in the middle of this lake which is owned by the Saudi Royal family for a Summer vacation spot for them.
I don't know if this is true or not, but my friend said that the males in the Saudi Royal family are about 40% homosexuals.

Osama Bin Laden was actually a Salafi Sunni Muslim not Wahabi. They’re very similar and both originated in Saudi Arabia. But they aren’t the same.

You can't really talk about early Wahabism without mentioning the Ottomans mate. The Ottomans ruled Arabia. The wahabists hated the Ottomans because under their interpertation of Islam the Ottomans allowing for religious freedom, a Turk as the Caliph (kinda like the Muslim pope) etc etc was unacceptable. They believed their way was the only way and anyone that didn't follow their interpretation was an apostate. Twice the Wahabis tried to invade and take over Arabia. With moderate, short lived success as the Ottomans crushed them and they had to flee. During ww2 the Brits who wanted to dismantle the Ottoman empire, were enflaming ethnic nationalism, supporting and arming seperatists groups all over the empire. In Arabia they allied themselves with the Sauds. After the war, unlike all the other regions they took from the Ottomans, the Brits decided against colonizing Arabia. Since the lands were considered holy by Muslims it would cause issues among their vast Muslim subjects in their Indian colonies. Furthermore, the Brits were convinced it was just worthless desert. It's not the 30's or so that American prospectors ask the Saudi's if they can check for oil. The Americans offer money just to check, promising to pay even if they find nothing. The Saudis ask the British for advice and the Brits laugh at the silly Americans and tell the Saudis to take the deal.
In a documentary about the Saudi royal family, one Saudi historian boasts. That Saud was known to have two swords .. one on his hip and one between his legs. Saud would go from tribe to tribe, and demand they convert, offering to marry one of their daughters if they converted. If they refused, he would slaughter them all. If they accepted they would become part of the royal family having married into it. He married over 2 dozen women.
Saudis when they struck black gold, started to use their funds to spread their ideology all over the middle east, fund and create civil wars, dictators, trrr groups etc. You have to understand, for every regular Muslim, Sunni or Shia. Historical Muslim places, shrines, mosques etc have enormous importance. The Saudi's just bulldoze over it. They destroy not only shrines but historical mosques. They made the house that the prophet was born in, into an office building. They destroyed all graveyard smashingtheir headstones. It's the norm for Muslims to pray at a funeral, visit a grave and say a prayer. Wahabis believe that's apostacy and idolatry. They believe praying to God, while visiting your parent's grave amounts to worshipping the grave itself. It's insane. But they effectively use their money to create propaganda, fund tons of mosques and preachers and spread their interpretation whereever they can. They call themselves Sunnis when in reality they are nothing like Sunnis. It doesn't help that they control the holiest places in Islam and Muslims have to go there for pilgrimage. My grandfather who is very religious was really exicted to visit the "holy lands" and when he returned, he just said .. I am glad I've been to the holy land, but I have never seen a more uncivilized bunch. He'd witnessed a public execution and it seemed to have really shocked him. He had nothing but bad things to say about the Saudis, from the way they behaved, to the public execution he witnessed. I'm not a believer but man I remember how angry I was that my grandfather who had been looking forward to that trip for much of his life had to witness people being executed.
